@fullspeedfordbronco I have a 2.3l 23’ BL Sasquatch. I added the procal tune, FM Catback Outlaw, K&N filter on stock air box, pedal commander, and 74 weld portals. I’m curious on what you would recommend to help me with a bit better MPG and power. The larger tires destroyed my MGP and the 2.3l on portals feels more like it did before I installed the procal. Please help. Cheers!
I used the procal gauge function on my 2.3 bronco (now have the 2.7) to measure intake air temps. I then put it in my focus rs (2.3 350hp). The iat was 20 degrees higher than ambient in the bronco, about 5 degrees over in the focus rs. I think the bigger intercooler will be worthy.
Appreciate your comment. I just uploaded a new video showing the Intercooler install. So far I’m seeing a 20 degree reduction in IAT2 over the OEM one.
I just got a badlands with the 2.7. Also got an extended warranty past the Ford 3 year. Does any of the mods you mention in your video void the warranty?
Not yet. I’m actually in the process now of custom tuning so will dyno after that. If you’re interested in seeing dyno numbers on the ford ProCal device, then take a look at the comparison vs. the Pulsar XT on the Bronco6G forums.
No, a custom tune is always going to be better. HP Tuners and SCT just recently cracked the PCM, but the whole process to get it work is complicated. You’ll need an FDRS setup in order to program the cracked PCM to your vehicle. You’re going to see a lot of custom tunes options very soon. I’m actually in the process myself 😉
There is a company “international Dyno authority “ that they have videos with broncos that carry the tune they provide with great results. At least that’s what they project
@@kalithor1 Yep, Wally knows his stuff. So far he's tuned the most powerful Bronco. Jason's Bronco at 423 WHP - It's more with his meth kit too. There will be way more options soon enough.
I have a wildtrack bronco 2.7 and trying to see what’s the best option to wake up a little bit the engine, my only concern is warranty since the car is relatively new on the market and I don’t know if and what can possibly fail
@@kalithor1 Check out my video on the Pulsar XT. It's the best piggy back tune IMO. You can always remove before you have it serviced. I'm actually going to be selling mine soon, so I can give you a deal if you want it. I only used it for a week. Going to custom tune so I don't need it anymore
Did you add the ProCal before or after the CAI. I heard if you have the CAI and try adding the ProCal afterwards that it would not work correctly. Something about the air sensors not reading correct.

Nice review! Thanks
How did you find the gap for the spark plugs? I can’t find anything on .31 factory and I know .028 for 2.3 is ranger
Gap was recommended by my Tuner. ZFG Racing.

Definitely do a intercooler swap if your tuning

Ford ProCal if you have an ASE certified tech install. Everything else could be a potential issue, but it depends on your dealership.
Dyno numbers yet?

Does the pro cal raise the top speed?
It does not. The only way to raise your top speed correctly is to install a Whipple custom tune (up to 120 mph) or go full custom tune ( no top speed)
@@fullspeedfordbronco what’s your opinion on the whipple tune
@@22-BroncAdds a little more power over the ProCal, but still voids your warranty. Rather have a full custom tune

I added it before the ProCal. No issues. Never heard of the air sensor issues….
