Help me out here , i have 2.7 and damn with you in sport mode i donnt even get close to the gas mileage like you do 385 til empty .... i live in small town throttle it up when i can and barely get 280 till empty , what am i doing wrong ??? Is it fuel ?? Super or reggie 🤔 how do you get these numbers ...maybe all highway??? 😅
have u ever worked with 5star ? i cant go mid 4s since i got 34 tires and 2 inch lift all around with bilstein 6112/5160. i have spd downpipes cvf titan v2 intercooler. Should i give it a try for ZFG ? Thanks !. (F150 Fx4 2.7 2018)
@@aib150 All I can say is that ZFG Racing holds the most Ecoboost world records. Definitely one of the best out there.
Hey i have a question will the ford performance tune work properly with the cvf intercooler, charge pipes downpipes and a k&n intake with a flowmaster catback or will it mess up because of the change from stock to bolt on ?
Yes, it will work fine. The ECU will learn
@@fullspeedfordbronco ok cool last thing want to do is spend all that money on something i can't use thank you for the info
Any increase in misfireing like you say with Pulsar stacked on ford performance chip?
No misfiring, but you will potentially see some low speed preignition. You can monitor the KnKAdder with the ProCal gauges.
Martinez Robert Clark Dorothy Garcia Maria
What tune and were??? What tuner?
ZFG Racing E85 tune. Plan to make a full video on the process
Tell me more…..
Plan to make a video on everything as soon as I can 👍🏻
Compared to my 2.0L 2 Door Rubicon with etorque my 2 door Badlands with Ford Performance Tune is such a slug. Doesn’t make boost fast enough and certainly doesn’t hold boost. All around bad comparing the two. Very interested in what you did here. Looks awesome.
@@TheBrandonAFThat’s funny. I used to own a 2019 Jeep Wrangler with the 2.0 ETorque and enjoyed it. It was rocket from 0-40 when launching in 4H. After 40 it kinda falls on its face. Ford on the other hand, limits boost and has strict torque management in the first 2 gears, so unless you launch in 2nd gear it won’t launch as hard. This is custom tuned, so it’s a completely different animal
I have some questions regarding the process of a Stage Zero for a 2023 Ford Bronco. So once I order the stage zero package what happens: what is sent to me and what do I do?
I’m going to do a full video on the process and what to expect. It’s a lot to go over.
I would apprecate that. I have already got a local ford dealerahip ready to install the new CPU and do the FDRS.
I plan on putting a performance 93 octane programmef into the GOAT Sand mode. Sounds like you ad them so something similar?
@@davidpohl4599I plan to show how to install the ECU. It’s not hard and ZFG Racing will send you a laptop so they can remotely use FDRS and flash the HP tune.
@@davidpohl4599That’s not how his tunes are setup. You will need to enable the 93 performance tune across the board. Normal mode is tame and had a stock shifting feel. Sport mode will be more aggressive and hard shifting and sand mode is drag mode that stays in 4H and really fast shifts.
2.7L with E85 ZFG Tune & FBO
Which one is better, VR Tuned or the Pulsar for the 2.7 Bronco? Thanks!
I would go with the Pulsar XT.
pretty cool saving some money right now to pick one up for mine but quick question what size was your socket for the o2 sensors and what size extension and swivel did you use to unbolt the downpipe?
7/8 or 22mm but you need a special O2 socket that has a slit on the side so the wire has somewhere to go. I believe the 3/8 extension is 16” or 24”. The swivel socket was just a basic 3/8 swivel socket. You can get all this stuff from Amazon or harbor freight for cheap.
@@fullspeedfordbronco ok cool thanks I need to pass by harbor freight good thing Im not to far away from one
When is the updated 0-60 plus dyno times releasing
Waiting for the weather to cool down a bit. Then I’ll do the 0-60 & 1/4 mile and head back to the dyno. I went back to the dyno a few months ago, but made no more power. My IATs were really double…
If I had the pedal commander, does this add up to the improvement?
I also use a throttle controller along with this. It’s more of a smoother throttle input and acceleration rather than a jumpy or touchy feeling. Don’t expect a ton of power, but it’s noticeable
@@fullspeedfordbronco Nice! Really want to know how it works out with ported manifold too! I saw the turbosmart BOV you had in other video. Just got mine today, works great with the injen intake & pipes I had, I don’t think I need a throttle controller on road anymore.
@@kakaxtI’m still testing the ported manifold, but initial impressions are good. I can definitely feel a difference in how it pulls. I’m going to have my tuner revise my tune to see what else he can get out of it. Also, the install isn’t bad at all. I’ll have a video out in the next few weeks showing the process. Should have a link to order soon as wheel.
Removing the front shaft is the biggest benefit 👌🏾
Update. GPE does not provide a new gasket when you order a ported Throttle Body. That only comes with the ported manifold. Unless the gasket is damaged, there’s no need to replace it.
Great video!
Does it necessary to do the tune? Or can be used on stock tune?
Nope it’s not. Works just fine with a stock tune and Bronco
I'm glad I found your content. I have subscribed
Thank you, sir! Big fan of your channel
Did you have to replace your ecu for the ZFG tune?
Yes. I have plans to do a video on the whole process. It’s not difficult
How goes the new throttle body? Any issues with it? Been looking to get it for my Bronco.
Still running strong and no issues at all. The weather started to get cooler so I plan to do more Dragy runs when I can. Gotta do some comparisons
What did you request when you did the tune?
Race 93 and Race E85
Did you add the ProCal before or after the CAI. I heard if you have the CAI and try adding the ProCal afterwards that it would not work correctly. Something about the air sensors not reading correct.
I added it before the ProCal. No issues. Never heard of the air sensor issues….
are you running e30 on stock fuel pump and lines?
Yes. The 2nd gen 2.7L can run full e85 with a tune.
@@fullspeedfordbronco oh cool i want to do bolt on with e30 but wasn't sure about how to go with e30 so doing research on it but there's so many mixed answers so it's kinda hard to figure out how to do it
@@AnimusicX download an ethanol calculator. With the Bronco’s gas tank size it’s usually 6 gallons of E85 mixed with 93
@@fullspeedfordbronco OK I'll definitely do that thank you
sound great! i think u need a turn down right after the y pipe if performance is the goal
Agreed. I’ve removed the muffler and it did feel faster, but too loud to my taste.
Hi! Wanted to say great videos-you’ve really helped me plan my build out. Thinking about following your build here , except installing the cvf intercooler as well. I’m not necessarily chasing 0-60 times; my overall intention is to make the bronco perform Better on the highway/on sand without making it unsafe. A mid five second pull plenty for me (actually want to be able to pass on the highway lol) If I were to add the intercooler but run 91, what would you expect the performance numbers to be? As it stands my WT matches expected performance as reported post procal. ***Excluding the race chip and pedal tuners as well in this question, sorry.
Intercoolers don’t add a ton of power, they help keep the power you have. The stock intercooler on the Bronco is really undersized and honestly I wish I could get something bigger than CVF’s offering. Even with the CVF Intercooler I’m still fighting high IATs in the summer so the stock intercooler would rob a lot more power. With the ProCal I’d highly recommend replacing the Intercooler as heat soak and high IATs will sap power.
@@fullspeedfordbronco these are my thoughts exactly for moving to replace the intercooler. It’s super small and it gets warm here! Not expecting power gain from it directly by any means :). I wasn’t sure how much say; running 91 and replacing the exhaust with say…an injen exhaust would affect the performance (assuming that exhaust gives anything useable over 3 horse power lol). But four hour drive to the mountains in 90+ degree weather? Yeah, I’d like some sustained nominal performance hahah
for the first sound clip was that a cold start or warm start?
Edit- it’s actually a warm start
The 2.7T Wildtrak high-speed off-road version will be available in Canada in December 2021. Vehicle Identification Code: 1FMEE5DP8NLA72240 I ordered a set of Wilwood six-piston brakes, but they displayed a trouble code when installed Have any Bronco owners in Calgary ever encountered this situation? Do you have any good suggestions? Like what parts need to be replaced? If there is no good solution I can only buy the original car four piston brake pads (civilian highest level, do not race) can help recommend it? Thank you very, very much!
Got some flow numbers to go with that pretty porting?
Unfortunately I don’t. But I’ll share all the details I have when I make my full video. The TB opening has been enlarged by 4.5mm and each port around 1-2mm. You might be able to get more specifics if you reach out to Joe at GPE.
I just got my injen intake for the 2.7 and I’m trouble getting the crank case hose to reach the connector on the intake. I’m wondering if you had any trouble with that
I’ve seen some reports on this issue on the Bronco 6G forum. I would reach out to Injen to see if they can assist.
@@fullspeedfordbronco I did reach out and am just waiting for a response. Do you know if the people how also reported it got it resolved?
Haven’t seen an update as of yet. Hopefully they will respond quickly and get it fixed for you.
@@fullspeedfordbronco that’s not promising. I’m not looking forward to putting the stock intake back on if they can’t get this resolved. But since you have yours on how do you like it
Just to make sure we’re talking about the same thing. You’re having issue with the line with the orange connector reaching the standoff on the new intake; right? On my version of intake, that stand off go towards the firewall, while yours sticks straight out. I love the intake, though it is loud. Makes a lot of sucking air noises and you can hear your blow off valve or recirculating valve a lot more.
Me and the wife snorkeled malcome the whole area last week. Seen sea turtle, 6 stingrays. Barracuda swam by on two occasions. We spent hours out there over the course of two days. Now I'm back home working 😢. We swam out to deeper water too.
Awesome! Such a a great spot in T&Cs.
Gyattt Damn!!!
You really tried them all!
Subscribed🎉 I just got 2.3 badlands, looking for a tuner or the pedal monster to shift better, got the injen hot&cold pipe but doesn’t seem to work.
Thanks. If you can swing it, grab the Ford ProCal tune. Make a nice difference on the 2.3L. A throttle controller like the pedal monster will help too. Charge pipes will add a little power, but I’d personally recommend going with a larger intercooler instead.
@@fullspeedfordbronco Thanks! I watched your pulsar video. You really tested them all !
Hi! I've been following your video for a while. Do you think this give more performance than the fast intention exhaust? Seems like fast intention is the only place that post dyno result for only the exhaust vs stock
Thanks. Since this exhaust system has a resonator it probably doesn’t add as much as the fast intentions. That said, if you’re looking to add power then a Ford Performance tune will give you more for the same price when on sale.
@fullspeedfordbronco thanks for the insight! I've been little unsatisfied with the sound of the stock bronco but wanted an exhaust that improves the performance as well as the sound.
Does the pro cal raise the top speed?
It does not. The only way to raise your top speed correctly is to install a Whipple custom tune (up to 120 mph) or go full custom tune ( no top speed)
@@fullspeedfordbronco what’s your opinion on the whipple tune
@@22-BroncAdds a little more power over the ProCal, but still voids your warranty. Rather have a full custom tune
Thanks. Really tempted by this, but not sure about ditching the intercooler shutters. Seems like Mishimoto's design allows you to retain them...
Both are great options 👍
Best sounding exhaust so far 👍🏼👍🏼
How did you get the auto start stop to work? When I click on it I don't get the option to enable or disable. Just a message an engine light will come but go away after a few drives. Everything else functions but that. A lso have P106A error after making other adjustments but nobody mentions it anywhere.
Hmmm…might be a question for their support team. I never had these issues.
@@fullspeedfordbronco evidently for 2023 only you have to disable bms for the auto start stop function. Error came on after adjusting tire size to 33.5.
Wow and somehow it still sounds like garbage
Glad you like it 👍

Got these installed a few weeks ago and bought them using your link! Love everything CVF for my Bronco and these videos helped me make my decision to go with them. I will add that I was able to get a better angle for the pipes coming off the intercooler by removing the intercooler and front bumper. I initially installed with the intercooler in place and had a bit of difficulty with getting the t-clamps and pipes not to hit either the alternator pulley or the inner frame. But a few weeks later I installed the CVF Intercooler and having everything off the front made it a lot easier to make those small adjustments to the pipes. Just another method if anyone is interested.
I really appreciate it, Rob. CVF is a great company and Jason over there is a stand up guy that always goes above and beyond. The only thing they lack is installation instructions so I wanted to help them fill that gap. I’ve been nothing but happy with their products so I don’t have any reservations recommending them.
@@fullspeedfordbroncoCouldn't agree more! Cristina had sent me a separate email to help out with the installation and now having this video will definitely help out anyone else that buys this great product!
