How much of the army have you painted yourself and how much is work done by others? Also how do you balance the style and keep it somewhat uniform throughout? I’m getting back into the hobby after 25 years and I’m contemplating getting a painted Typhus that’s for sale locally. The artist is really young and really talented and I wanna support him in his future endeavors
I paint and build NOTHING :) i never take credit for any models on the table top but its very important to me the person (whose often paid to go to an event) standing opposite me for 3 hours has something nice to look at. I also get models from ebay and try to chose things that fit into an overall rusting, stlightly corrupt versus gross DG motif. I love the pre heresy palid hand scheme. i use 2 commission painters.. - DGD

the nurg is actually part of the custom character (DG sorcerer) Siege made me, it says on the card "place a pestilent familiar token next to this model, remove it once this ability is used" - relating to his once a battle ability. so i asked for this to be made :)
I got rid of all my forgeworld as soon as it got legended....my army was much bigger 3 contemptors, legion falchion, 3 decimators, vindicator laser destroyer, 3 leviathans, 3 dreadclae droppods
Bloody hell, I thought I have loads of them... New target set!!! And, ffs, I need that alternative Mortarion model!!!! The only thing that I don't like, is that most of Your army is the commission stuff 😕
