Olivia easily had the worst (by worst I mean the most painful), but she seemed really cool as a character, even though she didn't have much screen time. And am I the only one that thinks she looks like Khloe Kardashian?
I would've been fine with this film being longer if they had more character developing scenes like this. It's sad that Bob Weinstein wanted to cut these scenes (as well as scenes that drove home the point that Ghostface is copying the first film). I guess he forgot that what made the first two Screams so different from other slashers is that it let us get to know the characters. A real shame, because had he not tampered with it, those scenes (as well as the biting social commentary, which is thankfully in the final cut) would've made this a far better film for repeat viewing (like the first two).
As much as I like this to be in the scene, it might have a big take away that Jill was never meant to be Sid as she is not in this epic homage. Proving the fact that Kirby is really the next generation’s Sid!
Hence, "the _unexpected_ is the new cliche" is finally fulfilled : Jill who was supposed to be the 'new Sidney' but turned out to be the true killer, therefore Kirby is the true 'Sidney' of this movie.

Scream 4 is probably one of my favorite in the series, I do agree that there needed to be a bit more character development though. Especially if they gave Olivia a lot more dialogue and character, her death would've been a lot more frighting.
However that happened in scream 5 where we see Tara's friends reunited without her after her attack. So I don't see anything wrong with leaving this scene without Jill.

They may have, but they never seemed like they truly hated them. They could have said things much crueler than the movie did and not all friend groups have everyone all so close. Kirby and Olivia didn't seem annoyed being with the boys and that specific scene showed them humor the boys so at the very least they were willing to put up with them and the girls also were horror movie fans so I don't think they care that much.

Redubbing is the problem, makes it sound unnatural but had to be done because of the noise of the fountain. He was pretty good in other parts (hospital) of the film.
I like Scream 4, but most of the younger cast can't act at all. I like Kirby, and the hall pass guy (can't remember his name) Trevor's and Charlie's acting is absolutely horrible. Every time they're in a scene I cringe, but what I find most shocking is that they were hired in the first place.
