- The elderly woman was on the phone with the scammer just moments away from sending $40,000. That's when an officer figured out what was happening, took the phone from her and let the scammer have it.

“I’m in Danger.” Broke my heart to hear, she was scared yet she was still so polite.
These scammers more than likely threatened the life of her and her family a common tactic they use to get these victims to listen and do what they say.
@@HailFyraI had one threaten me and my family told him “I don’t have no family and I’m just waiting on someone to put me out of my misery so come on over and handle your business bucko!” He didn’t deliver
I’m happy there was a good ending. Please watch your old people. They are vulnerable and need love and protection.❤
Me too. That store staff lady saved the day. Banks should have a limit of withdrawal for the elderly.
@@helenpauls1496 You can set one up, good luck convincing them they need it.
It is a cultures duty to take care of its elderly
That Indian accent should’ve known 100 percent scammer
According to the IDIOTIC movie known as "The Beekeeper", it's White men who run these scam centers.
😂😂😂
Now let's play "guess the ethnicity" of the people who make IDIOTIC movies like that.
@@neilmerlino6475i choose Chinese!!!
whats confusing about Chase is all of the employees are indian.
It isn’t that easy
sounds like from India
This their main export.
Scammed once, almost twice. Was told to send checks. Guess what, was to send to different PO boxes in 2 different FL cities! Same scammer both times. Pure evil!!
Most likely, but possibly Pakistani. Another commenter said Nigerian...not even close.
Yup they are Indian
Maybe its KERPAL from india got scammed $300 before from these mfs
Glad that lady saw something was off, and did something about it!!
Omg....I know that exact location. I grew up there. Makes my blood boil to see people trying to scam the elderly
TRUCKERS PASSING THROUGH DALLAS VIA US75 STARING AT THE SKYSCRAPERS
The old lady was very lucky the woman behind her knew what was going on and called the police. Kudos to the officer for making sure this lady doesn't get scammed. I wonder if those scammers are going to call her back and eventually get her money? Hopefully she has family or someone out there looking out for her so that they don't get her money. It's a frustrating thing to have to deal with, these idiots are overseas so our laws can't touch them and they know it.
sorry, there are many cases of Americans being scammed by Indians in person now don’t forget there. Been thousands of Indians coming through our southern border in just the last four years, unfortunately, a couple of grannies on the East Coast Withdrew their life savings and converted them into gold bars, and supposedly they have an unexpected Uber driver to pick up the package so far there have been three cases in the US just look it up on TH-cam the most recent scammed was just last month
W officer for confronting the men before things got worse
There should be some educational program for the elderly.
Dementia is a big problem with the elderly. We live in a digital world. My mom is 88 and can't get on the internet, Imagine trying to explain to her about what was happening here.
Elderly refuses to listen and think they know better. I tried talking some senses into my parents and they hate me now. They are listen to other people than me, so w/e
There should be some educational training for banks about elderly women withdrawing thousands...
@@eMDiKhamPha That's the natural order of aging. It happens every single generation. We have entered the digital age where everything even decentralized currencies are highly confusing to the elderly.
Well the bright side of things is if she gets worse she might be a senator or high ranking politician. She was able to find the ATM machine herself so I don’t think she’s quite out of it yet to be president.
God Bless YOU Mindy!!!! God Bless YOU Sgt !!!! This is what love your neighbor means!! So proud of y'all! Thank you LORD!!!
Kudos to the sergeant.
🎉🎉🎉 thank goodness for stepping in. You really saved a life
Thank God for the cops. Beware of scam calls I don't even answer them.
We need to tell our seniors to not trust anyone with an indian accent over the phone.
Unfortunately with AI they can now sound like anyone, even a relative.
unfortunately most LEGITIMATE IT employees and call centres for banks, tech support, insurance, phone plans etc companies are Indians or located in India too
Omg this people need to get arrested
Next to impossible. They are out of India and the companies make millions and pay off local police for protection. American groups spend years to shut them down and many just vanish and reform under a different company name at a different address.
They are in India.
Sadly very little if anything can be done. They are most likely based in India and there's not much the local authorities can do about it. It's why these scammers continue to operate.
@@btrueethdrone striked then 😂
They work from offices overseas. You'd have to get some international cooperation to go after them.
Kitboga works overtime to get this message spread. I'm glad there are people on foot doing the same ❤
Watching his content, I knew very well that they made her believe that the "bankers" accidentally sent her thousands of dollars to her savings account.
Scamming an 84 year old 😢 .. Shame on the Indian government for protecting these thieves
Stealing money from US citizens makes India rich so they will not stop it. These foreign countries say Americans are the dumbest, well....
Myndi has a good eye and hearing
These scammers do this with zero risk of being held accountable for theft.
We all got to be careful against scammers on the phone whoever we don't know those people if they work for a real company or not. We're all being hacked so be careful out in the public and online
thank you , thank you so much
The larger concern is why they are allowed to have CRYPTO ATM machines up with so many people being scammed out of millions. 🧐
Thanks to the lady that seen this happening.
The scammers are in India....
I catch them all the time.... only I do one better I troll them for hrs on the phone just to piss them off after they figure it out that they are the ones being TROLLED....🤣😂🤣😂
No Shyte they’re in India. Most if not all call centers are in India legit ones and scammer ones. That’s good tho wasting their time helps someone else not be called.
@@alexaecho4273 I'm a old retired Marine Corps combat veteran with nothing better to do than just laying in bed all day and boy oh boy I can piss these guys off after about an hr of trolling them....🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🇺🇲🫡
Good Job Sergeant
That’s why we need Americans being the customer service representatives. I can barely understand you, yet you expect me to trust you?
Our leaders don't care about you. That's why they offshored all the manufacturing jobs to China and all the customer support jobs to India. They'd prefer you be poor and stuck on welfare than working a good paying job and able to get ahead in life.
When I get these calls I have a lot of fun with them
I feel so terrible for the elderly… they are really trying to survive in a world thats ever changing…. these scams may seem crazy to us “young people” but so does the idea of “social media” and “smart phones” to the elderly.
God bless you Jordan!!
❗Please support the TH-cam channels that are exposing these scammers. Jim Browning's channel and others are doing a great job exposing them and getting them arrested. These scammers are ruining lives and laughing about it.
Here’s a few more that should be supported.
Kitboga
Scammer Payback
Trilogy Media
Rinoa Poison
Chappy Grey
These are just to name a few.
God, I was holding my breath. I am so glad she is getting her money back. That is so awesome that people were looking out for her.
Mindy is a super hero for sure. We ALL need to speak up when you see crap like that happening.
Once you reach a certain age you should appointed a guardian to oversee your finances , these elderly people are not familiar with technology, as for where the scammer lives.....these scammers are in INDIA
Appointed Guardians have been known to scam the elderly or disabled with their finances as well.
Had I been that officer I would've said to that evil man on the phone "You are not a bank employee, you're a scammer trying to rob!"
Every one needs to take care of our elderly. I stopped my in laws from this costly mistake. Spread the word!!!
I’m so glad they intervened…
This happens all day everyday, and our government does nothing about it.
There is absolutely zero legitimate reason for a gas station to have a bitcoin ATM
watch out for indian medical insurance scammer too.
Heartless scammers, they don’t care, stealing from the elderly. People need to be mindful for our elderly and educate them on how these scams work. Don’t be afraid to say something or step in.
People are truly disgusting
I’m sorry, I’m not being racist. But we already know that those scammers are mostly from India, but it seems like no one is stopping them. I just had a call last week posing as WellsFargo they were saying someone used my card and they need to get my credit card details. Just sickening
WHY did the Bank not alert Police to an elderly lady getting $40K in CASH from her account...esp a lady living in a retirement home? I think the bank failed big time on this one!
Thank You Jesus Christ for miracles like this person to stop the nightmare .
Why didn't the bank intervene?
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
The scammer is of Indian or Pakistani origin.
yep, they have dedicated office buildings, in India specifically targeting elderly people in the US
So many scammer videos on TH-cam. They are usually Indian. I yet have to come across a Pakistani doing that.
@@btrueeth don’t forget, we have had thousands of Indians coming to our southern border for the last four years unfortunately it’s too late. They’re been many cases of Americans being scammed in person for their life savings just look it up on TH-cam illegal Indians are trying to convince elderly grannies to withdraw their life savings and convert to gold bars. I forgot how the racket goes exactly but they’re here doing it now.
@@btrueeth I got scammed by Pakistanis, they were more crafty, they actually WORKED for me for many months (over a year!), then made up a sob story about needing a loan to pay for their mother's health and promising to work it off or pay it back, then disappeared after I wired the money. They pray on the good nature of people. The bank had even warned me about wiring money especially to Pakistan (using words that would now be considered "racist"), but since they were an employee of mine for over a year I disregarded the warnings. Wish I hadn't! I was just finally starting to have success as a young entrepreneur and wired them a huge amount that then crippled my business when they didn't pay back or work it off as expected.
Insane
A fool and her money is easily parted.
Saw this on police activity
I can't believe somebody would fall for this especially somebody with that kind of money so she's not dumb or so she wasn't at some point in her life
Mindy is an angel in disguise . 💙💙💐💐
The bank is stupit which gave her the money
Now that’s a good point because the report made it sound like she withdrew 40,000 dollars. They should’ve at least asked her some questions.
they don't know where the indian scammer is from?
As if they can't start with the scammer paid for an Uber to take her all over the place.
Why the hell doesn't that old woman have friends and family members to help her avoid these kinds of situations?
She may have been told not to tell anyone or else….
It’s likely the scammer tells them if you mess this up you’re going to the old folks home-the White House.
We got scammed call more than hundreds call a day at out job + my own cell phone.
Most of the time it show a person name like Michele smith or Gina Johnson and I answer the phone I can’t understand what’s he was saying , he’s accent was really bad and I asked him ‘ hey you’re not Michele smith ! Michele smith don’t talk like that you’re a f scammer.😂😂😂😂.
thank god my phone does not ring . who ever is not in my contact list but it shows every day how many scam calls i got
@@manoramareddy4662 our leaders gave this job to googol in India and more now I get this people calling none stop.
Like a Jason Statham movie. Good job Officer
ChAse bank or any bank won't call you to send money anywhere. You call them not the other way around
That money would still be in that machine so go get a 10 pound sledge and get your money back.
Yes there is a way( did a person call the taxi?? Did police trace back the cellphone????? Who bought that cellphone names ????? Yes there is a way ... A detective can find out or an inspector ....
That voice is an Indian man.
What would happen if the other lady pulled the plug of the machine?
Also they used and paid Uber to pick up the woman can't they track that way?
I pray after this a family member, caregiver or trustworthy friend can prevent further attempts from scammers. The victim stated she'd gotten several threatening calls & the scammer sent an uber to take her to her bank so why was she at a chevron station and why is there need for a krypto currency machine there? I'm happy she didn't lose her savings & that it ended well.. TY to the good samaritan that stepped up & called the police.
CURRY IN A HURRY THANK YOU COME AGAIN
How come he got access to request an Uber to pick her up and gain access to her bank account info
You can request an Uber to go to any address. And I don’t think they had access to her bank account. They just tricked her into putting her money into the bitcoin machine which would then send it to them.
Wonder Y he's SO HARD 2 TRACK???? If he arranged an Uber Driver 2 pic her up take her 2 the Bank n probably took her 2 that Machine she fed $$
to? No Detectives can Figure it out???? At least she still has her $$$
Oh wow, I see Peyton didn't have to cover a murder for once, (probably just for a few hours) she got to get out the city...Lucky her!

I don't care if you're the police!... I need you to put the young lady back on the phone to make the Bitcoin transaction I am the bank I am the one that's an authority now!. That's what I would have told the police I don't care about all that shouting that doesn't scare me. LOL
White Settlement. Sounds like a peaceful place to live.
She ain't a victim she's a volunteer
I know where the scammers are from……I’m not going to say it though….India.
Bitcoin has made this type of scam so easy for the scammers.
That scammer is a Nigerian.
You've got to work on your accent recognition. He was either Indian or Pakistani. But I'm betting on a call center in Mumbai or New Delhi.
Greg Abbott can't stop these criminals?
Cuz DemocRATs protect them????
Some of these old folks are just plain dumb… she got lucky if it was me i would have just took the first 20k before the cop even got there….
