    Chinese leaf would be a far superior choice for the lettuce, avocado is soft, onions are soft, the lettuce is soft, needs more crisp and the Chinese leaf would do it while offering a sweetness which allows you to get rid of those manky Brioche lol

    Wow, this looks amazing! I eat a lot of turkey and chicken. Can’t wait to try this recipe. I make turkey meatballs and I grate in tons of zucchini and onion. Keeps them moist. Thanks for sharing. 😊

    Thank you, this looks great. I have a question, though. Why not use all thigh meat here? Would that change the recipe and outcome?

      Great suggestion! I do question the amount of smoked jalapeños. Any time I’ve added chipotle pepperS or sauce from a can they have been super spicy. Does that really pair well with turkey?

    Breadcrumbs absolutely would work here -- as long as you're using them in a panade. Use your favorite salsa, birria sauce, chili sauce, spaghetti sauce, etc. in the panade to add a *ton* of flavor.

      And dry out the Turkey

    • @SuzanneBaruch
      @SuzanneBaruch 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ChefBillyParisi not even once have I *ever* had a panade dry out the turkey. If you just put plain breadcrumbs in there, sure. But a panade does not dry out anything, because you're soaking the breadcrumbs in a flavorful liquid. They don't absorb the turkey juices, they *give off* juices into the meat.

      @@SuzanneBaruch I'd say you are right here. Once hydrated the bread isn't going to magically absorb more

    • @SuzanneBaruch
      @SuzanneBaruch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IscariottActual I've made all kinds of burgers and meatloaves with panades literally *thousands* of times, and never use milk always a flavorful liquid with a bit of a fatty component. It really does work. Billy is entitled to his opinion, but I have just as much training and experience as he does.

    Turkey is certainly underrated chef. As someone who substitutes this for beef in effort to eat healthier 🙄 i like to make a greek style burger with homemade Tzatziki sauce & red onion and whatever else I'm feeling! Is delicious

    If anyone can make ground turkey taste good you can
    Personally I like ground chicken of course always Organic.
    I made your carrot cake which was amazing. I did take out 1 cup of powdered sugar in the icing because I ran out, amazingly enough it was plenty sweet!

    I use breadcrumbs in my turkey meatloaf and I can attest they are incredibly moist. There is a trick though. I add breadcrumbs to cream, egg, and other wet ingredients and let the breadcrumbs soak up the liquid and pour the soupy breadcrumb mixture into the ground turkey. And my meatloaves are so moist they are light, fluffy, flavorful.

    I rarely, if ever, use ground turkey breast for burgers. I never thought using mayo in the meat. I’ll try that next time.
