Love my MT07 engine. But I wish it was in that body. That low seat height is sweet, and I just think it looks better!
I want the mt07 engine in my z650.
Just checked this bike out myself and sat on it to see how it felt. Saving up for it can't wait.
its a great bike, i would highly recommend it to anyone that is even thinking about it.
Awesome, I'm thinking of getting one of these to replace my ninja 300. Just started watching and enjoying it so far. I love the seat height, sat on one in the showroom and loved it.
i would say go for it! its a really good feeling going from the 300 to this bike. No regrets on getting rid of the 300.
Funny... I just traded in a 2015 ninja 300 for a z650... then i saw this video. i laughed. i agreed in every comparison. Ride safe!

haha omg yes! after riding for a while now, i would have to say the Z650 is a super great beginners bike over the 300 any day!
I bought one having never ridden anything on 2 wheels before besides a pedal bike and it is awesome, a amazing beginner bike.
Watching from my house in Shakopee! Been wanting to pick up the matte green 2018 Z650.

i would say it its a great starter bike Coming from a smaller starter bike my self and jumping up to this.

Hey man, what made you go with this vs the competition? Every review says FZ07 is the way to go but I love this bike for some reason (maybe noise and seat height). What was the deciding factor?
Prog Pogs I wanted it because nobody else has it and everybody else has the 07 and the Z feels a little more comfortable to me
Good reason. I feel like you can't go wrong with either bike, to me the z650 just looks more bad ass. It's all subjective...
nice bike its a candidate for me. Thanks for video. The exhaust is too quiet have to open it up. I dont really like the Z brake light just use a solid square no need to be cute with a safety feature. I like that both levers can be adjusted. I assume the aftermarket Ninja 650 parts can fit this since its a naked version of same bike using same year

Hello sir. I was about to buy this bike last friday but I did not b3cause of the vibration complaints of reviewers and on forums. Is it really that bad? Now I am looking at this bike and the ninja 400. OTD price is just 1k difference. So it even made my decision a lot harder. I am fairly new at riding. I rode a honda grom for about 2 months and looking for my next bike. Please advice. Thank you in advance.
Wet Rain i havnt ridden the new 400 yet. But if the vibrations is a downer for you i would say stay away. It doesnt bother me a whole lot it goes away
Crzycatman thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. Man I can't get that white color anymore only the pure black for the 2017. I am not bothered much about vibrations unless the vibrations are a lot worse than a honda grom i guess. I might finally pull the trigger tom and get the Z650 tom hehehe

thats super sweet!! yea you will grow on the back super fast! i went from that 300 to that 650. its a super easy bike. Balances super well and the power is there too!

Just wondering why didnt you go for Ninja 650 if your previous bike was Ninja 300...
The Z650 is fantastic i tried it out 2 weeks ago, but at the end traded my Ninja 300 for Ninja 650 coz it has fairings so its easier to ride when its a bit windy ;)
i mostly wanted to get something that sat up straight and that was comfy for my GF and i wanted something that was a little different than what everyone else has. i would agree the fairings are nice. I just wanted to switch it up a bit. if i dont like it i'll trade it in lol. so far it hasn't really bothered me though.

did you trade in your 300? if so how many miles did it have on it and what did you get?
i did trade in my 300. I had 21K on it before i traded it in. i forgot how much they gave me for it. it was pretty good. like 3k i wanna say.
Was the speedometer in kilometers or miles? I've been dying to see what kind of power I would have

i have no clue. i did 102 before running out of room.

no thats a good question :-D i loved the way it looked. i wanted something different, plus i wanted something that sat up more straight.
