    Nice Video did a great job showing how it works. But now they have the G900 Pro and it has Wi-Fi now and Voice control and a 128 SD card .

      I have been wondering if it is worth the upgrade, honestly.

      Thank you! 🙏 🤙 The g900 pro is definitely amazing. The wifi is so fast and the voice control is VERY nice!

    Video encode, H.265 will give you smaller files than H.264 with nominal compression artifacts. It would allow you to save more videos on your sd card. Occasionally, but rarely, I have run into compatibility issues with older smart TV's and H.265 recordings.

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for that! I really didn't realize that it was that big of a difference

  • @fredsalfa

    • H.264: Standard for high-definition video compression, widely used and compatible with most devices.
    • H.265: Newer, more efficient standard, especially useful for 4K and high-definition video, offering better compression at the same quality but requiring more processing power.
    If you’re recording in 4K or want to maximize storage efficiency, H.265 is the better option, provided your device supports it.

    I just bought the g900 Pro and was wondering how your front facing camera was doing looking through the tinted strip on the top of your windshield? I have that same tint strip and was thinking I was going to have to tear it off

    How would you mount the rear camera in a truck cab? The rear window is flat. Thanks

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They come with several mounting options, such as a bracket to mount it against vertical glass with 3m tape that way the camera can aim perpendicular to the glass

    For my 2019 Jeep Wrangler do I need to replace my existing back camera with the one thats provided or can I use both? Great Video

    • @jku392adventures

      In my Jeep I have the backup camera for the stereo and I also have the rear camera for the wolf box dash cam, I would recommend keeping both

    Do you like the g900 or the 840f WiFi more? Going to relocate my spare tire on my 4Runner and have been looking for a solution to be able to see out the rear window and when I reverse.

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Juan234alv do you think you will need to use the wifi to pull off videos often? If not, then the g900 is simply the better choice since it has a better image quality with the 4k and 2.5k. that's probably my recommendation 🤙🙏

    Can you use this mainly as a rear view mirror with maybe a small window for the backup camera?

    • @jku392adventures

      There's no option for a small window unfortunately

    Do you have the rear camera mounted inside or outside? I was wondering how this performs in the rain or even in snow

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LeoC1228 I have it mounted on the outside, sometimes in the rain it can have drops of water on the camera, but in the snow it works great, especially if your back windshield is caked In snow, the camera is usually clear, or easy to clear by wiping off.
      If the rain ever makes it too hard to see I would just turn off the dash cam screen and use it as a normal rear view mirror but it will still record everything

    Did you get the upgraded reverse camera or are you using the standard one, the upgraded one is meant to have much better night performance and less glare

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm using the original one that's a little over a year old, I don't think it is the updated one. That's good to know though! Thank you!

    If I install only the mirror mounted camera (no rear camera installation) how do I see what's behind me since the mirror is covered by the camera unit?? I am not interested in mounting the rear camera.

    • @jku392adventures
      @jku392adventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ceez1 the dashcam is reflective so you will have the benefit of having the front dashcam and you can use the reflection to see behind you just like you would if it was a rear view mirror. But at that point you mite as well just get a regular dash cam from wolfbox that won't cover your mirror

    • @jku392adventures
