A concept is in the works but it is based on a BMW platform. It will probably have a turbo straight six or V6 from the M cars, which is a shame because I really hoped they would re-imagine the 2JZ (as if it wasn't already anything less than mechanical perfection).

That was a gtr, not a GTR. I notice that people tend to seek out their favorite cars on youtube and rejoice when they win blatantly unfair races. I would much rather have a Supra than a GT-R but anyone that knows a lot about cars knows that it's faster than everything when fully upgraded. AWD will always win this type of shit because traction is the biggest issue above 1,000 whp. No spinning, no rev limiter bouncing, the GTR just hooks and pulls with lightning fast shifts.

This is just my guess. The rollers probably cant cause much resistance with the tires because this could skew the results. Road is meant to cause grip with tires and hes still spinning. 😶
You rev while stationary, and the "2 step" stops your revs at a certain predetermined rpm. You keep the gas down so that it "bounces" off this secondary rev limiter, which allows you to launch more consistently
I have an r1, actually the same model.. I also have a bmw, as seen in my avatar.. The bmw is much faster in every way than the r1 and both would lose to that big turbo car. You can't compare with that much power especially when it keeps building boost up high.
