I have so much respect for this man, he's the person who's opinion I value on this subject and particularly psychopharmacology more than anyone else. Iv'e discovered all kinds of things from him i'm glad i know.
i read somewhere that alcohol can't be included in the misuse of drugs act because it has medical uses for antibacterial hand gel and sterilising medical equipment. etc
Very good point! But I have a question, since the data we use is only representing present situation and under present regulations, does it really honestly show the harm as the drug itself? I mean if the policy regulation changes, does the data need to be updated? Eg. Alcohol being most dangerous because of its wide use, but if it is regulated or something would it become less harmful? Or in the future can you say something like “this year xx drug is the most dangerous”?
this criteria he is talking about was then later done in other countries on different population etc and it turned out the exact same reults, that's pretty good that.
I love alcohol, but i rarely drink it because it makes me depressed, i love a bit of Peroni or Molson or some nice Belgian beers and i love a nice glass of Red wine with a steak, but the point is if i want to smoke some Weed or take some Psilocybin mushrooms then whats wrong with that? nothing. Im cautious and sensible and i know the effects because ive tried them, Alcohol and Mushrooms are poles apart.

Prof. David Nutt for Prime Minister!
Hit the nail on the head!
Our real-life superhero.
Fuck control over alcohol and the other drugs, just stop jailing people for not harming someone.

Lol showing the picture of mushrooms and then hearing him say "..and now are in class A alongside crack cocaine" made me laugh at the absurdity :D
Alcohol was illegal in USA
