Pink roses are among my favorite flowers, and I think you captured their essence well. I can’t wait to see it on my box! 👏🎉 Unfortunately I believe the company sells these just as a set rather than individually. 😕 I also am not sure of the final cost yet, some of that is determined by how much it costs to make the boxes, brushes, etc….. But hopefully I’ll know soon! I do also plan to do a detailed realistic rose tutorial sometime in the future, several people have seemed interested in something like that. 🥰 Take care, I hope you have a great day!

I subscribed to your channel so long ago when I first discovered you. I love your detailed precision and florals that you share. I’ve purchased many of your outlines from Etsy. All this to say… “You are AMAZING!” I will continue to support you in many ways , but I already own 24 Craftamo brushes from my year-long subscription the Emma (EmJ) in 2023. Aww, 🥰 thank you! You are so sweet. 💕The colors I used for the rose are Quinacridone Rose for the lighter areas, Alizarin Crimson with a touch of Dioxazine Purple mixed in for the medium to dark shadow areas, and a mixture of Alizarin Crimson and Ivory Black for the very darkest spots. 😊 Hope this helps. Beautiful. How do you keep the paper from buckling or warping?
Thanks for your question! My paper usually buckles a little bit, it’s kind of the name of the game… but I find that if I tape my paper down to a table before painting it helps a little bit. I also know that some people “stretch” their paper before painting, I don’t usually do that, but I’m sure there are some TH-cam videos you could watch to explain that process a little better. Something else you can try is wetting down the back of the paper so that is wet or damp, then turn it o er and paint on the front. Again, not something I do often, but it helps some people. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the question! On my normal step by step drawing and painting tutorials I do usually try to either show a darker sketch or provide one on my Etsy shop. This particular piece wasn’t exactly intended to be for people to follow painting along with, just a sneak peak at how I created the cover for my brush box. Hope this info helps! Sometime I’ll have to do a step by step tutorial of something similar to this for people to paint along with. 🥰

I’m so happy you like it! I made this painting exclusively for the brush set box so I didn’t make an outline for it on Etsy, but maybe I’ll do a painting similar to this one that I can do a tutorial and outline for later. 🥰
Liesl..how do I take care of my brushes...do we rinse and let the brushes stand up with the brush facing up or in a jar ...or the brush facing down in water....facing down makes the tips of the brush curl!!
Hi wonderingstar. I lay mine flat on my desk. Pointing down in a jar will ruin the structure of the bristles and with the brushes facing upwards can cause water seepage into the feral of the brush causing the handle to fall off. I learned the hard way, but at least they were cheap brushes when I first started watercoloring. 😊 So I swish my brushes now in clean water and make sure there’s no paint remaining in the bristles. I wipe off the excess water and lay them flat to dry.
Great question! It is important to take care of your brushes so they last a long time. 🥰 The best thing to do it rinse out your brushes really well, (if your completely done painting for the day, you can even wash them out with a mild liquid soap, but I don’t do that every time…) then I lay them horizontally on a table or towel and let them completely dry before storing them. (This way if there is any glue holding the bristles in place the water won’t sit there and pool at the base of the bristles causing them to fall out later.) Then after they’re dry I choose to store them in a container with the handles down and the brush facing up so they don’t get curled. 🥰 Hope this helps!

Actually, I created this painting exclusively for the box cover of my paint brush set. Maybe I’ll try to make a similar tutorial that everyone can paint along with in the future though. 🥰

I ordered brushes from craftomo before they are shipped from England and take up to three months to arrive so beware of this and there is no tracking number or information ℹ️ whatsoever …Just a warning I would never order from this company again ever

I have a subscription box order with Craftamo and haven't had any issues with delivery. My last order arrived within two weeks and I've always been able to track my parcel. We'll done Liesl, your painting is beautiful - I'll definitely be ordering your brush set!❤
