I have seen Cocteau Twins 2x and have to say- best cover of a Cocteau Twins song, I have ever heard. Incredible- each member play's the song perfect.

I have studied the cocteau's sound to some degree and it's complex......
(he achieved a lot of HOLV using a "digitech Whammy" pedal for the "swooning" backdrop sounds.....he used oceans of other effects for the multi tracked guitar back-drops)
Robin Guthrie and LF are my musical heroes....(they are super heroes of music as an artform)
It must be very difficult to play bass and sing at the same time......?......wow

just two siblings with a unique upbringing by two musician parents. My brother is the one who discovered the Cocteau Twins when we were teenagers. I enjoyed trying to learn all the different vocal pieces to their songs. I will never love a band as much as I love the CT.

So here's a thing. At the age of 15 in 1979, I went with my older brother to see Gary Numan and The Tubeway Army at London's Hammersmith Odean. His support band were none other than OMD.
By coincidence in 1983, I went with my mate Dave to see OMD at De Montfort Hall in Leicester.
Ironically OMD's support band was The Cocteau Twins!
Have seen all 3 artists perform on many occasions.
Just got chills during the chorus!! I suppose that's a good indication of how badass job you did here :)) u just became the best CT cover project without a doubt. Amaazing vocal and layering, great instrumentation ♡♡♡ and yep, love the original touch at the end. 10/10.

You do the most amazing Cocteau covers I’ve come across. Assuming all the backing vocals are also done by yourselves, I’m amazed how you can even pick out what’s going on vocal-wise from the original recording. The only thing I noticed different (maybe) was a guitar note (first note of the second phrase of the riff) was maybe a few tones too high?? But I didn’t know if it was a deliberate thing so the algorithm wouldn’t block this recording for copyright reasons?!? Congrats, and has Liz or Robin been in touch???
