    Not really an height problem here, he just has bad technique.
    Watch Dadash (105) on this same channel, who is super tall, and compare the technical mastery.

    If he hasn't injured himself with that, ahem, technique of his by now, he will soon enough. Tall guy, not massive at all, great strength and willpower, but horrible technique. I cringed watching the front squats. He got the weight up, but...sheesh, that back bend...disc's gonna go flying across the room.
    He's got the drive, but he still has a long way to go, as does the American team as a whole. The Europeans and the Chinese still rule.

      @aidanivesdavis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sit. Youre so ignorant. Ian’s been doing this shit for well over a decade. Let’s see you jerk 215, then talk your shit.
      If he was going to hurt himself from his technique, he wouldve done it sometime in the last ten years. He could lift for 30 years straight with no injuries and then, the one time he does pull a muscle or something, an internet coach like you will pop out of the woodwork and say “i tOLd YoU hE wAs GoNnA hURt hImSeLf”.
      If you think this is dangerous, you need to go find a new sport. Or better yet, just stay on the couch.

    • @jessfrankel5212
      @jessfrankel5212 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aidanivesdavis Actually, it's spelled "you're"...so, take a seat, sonny. It's called having an opinion. Ever heard of that? Of course not. Keyboard warriors like you like to talk shit, but you can't deliver. And before you say, "I'm an Olympic lifter, I can outlift you" ...fine. Put up a vid. I'll bet you can't.
      To be honest, the most I've even done in the C&J was around 140 kilograms, did it once, long ago, so, no records, no vids...nothing. And, compared to Wilson, it's nothing. Believe that or don't believe it. IDGAF. Wilson's technique, to me, is sloppy, even if he does put up decent-plus weight. If you can't see that, then you should take a seat in the dunce corner, as usual, short pants.

    • @toximan2008
      @toximan2008 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jessfrankel5212 To be honest, even if his technique is considered "garbage," it allows for him to lift the most weight he can whilst staving off injury. As long as you can do that, your technique can be whatever it wants to be. There's plenty of lifters who have textbook technique that are constantly nursing several injuries, while lifters with very unconventional technique whose bodies are fine. Granted, when you talk about PEDs, technique can also be whatever it wants since you're so strong, but that's a conversation for another time.

      youre a moron. on the world stage maybe, but this guy is still elite, and very likely taking way fewer drugs (if any) than youre favorite lifters in any weight category. talk when you can total above 350.
