Not an instructional video… However I actually got the information I needed “pipes covered with sand “ this helps protect the pipes from the soil which expands when wet and contracts when dry. This can cause large shifts which can crack the pipes or cause glue joins to come apart.
As someone who is currently dealing with a underground leak on a 20+ year old pool, I feel bad for you if you ever have any. That amount of pipes looks excessive, and most run directly beneath the pool making them probably unrepairable.
Most pool decks are made with pavers so you can access the pipes in an event of a leak. If you have concrete then you need to use concrete saw to cut out the section where you suspect a leak. It's probably a leak on the return side, just cut out the old pvc reinstall up to a good portion of the pipe and connect with a slider repair sleeve. If it's a line somewhere under the pool, just isolate that line near the pump. If you have enough returns you should be ok to keep that one closed off.
@@WesProphecy2032 no bud, it's worse than that. Already sawed and jackhammered it up and replacing all jets and lines to the pump. Whoever uses "flex" PVC has one coming lol
You must leave in an area where your next door neighbor is a mile away!😅 pool equipment location needs to be 5 feet setback from property Line. Yours is an area where at most you have 4 feet and you are within those four Feet. Did you build this with Permits? Just wondering your lucky if your city is more flexible with building codes.
Thanks for the great information. I thought that was probably the reason. Make sure to check out my finish pool build superlapse it's only 8 or 9 minutes and you can see the finished pool. Thanks for watching.
Yes they would have to break the concrete to fix it. But all plumbing was pressure tested before any concrete was poured. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.
@kevinoliva680 why not use PEX if you want that. There is a lot of potential for errors and malfunctions when you heat PVC like that. It's an undeniable fact. Maybe it will be OK and maybe not. It isn't spec'd to be bent like that
Fittings take time to align and glue up. It's a lot faster/cheaper to bend the pipe into the shape you need than to kinda/sorta get there with fittings. There are only so many elbow angles available in PVC, as you may not know.
An actuator is a motorized valve that helps open a jandy valve. Mostly used on a 3 way valve. These are set if a homeowner doest want to physically go to the equipment and be changing the valves all the time. They can also be programmed with the ez touch so you can contol it from the phone or throught the panel.
They are capped until they pour the concrete and plaster. You don't want the concrete to get inside the pipes. There are many pipes for the infloor cleaner.
You’ll be calling another pool company to come dig up leaks in a few years. Like a handful of spaghetti, PVC is designed to withstand pressures in ONE direction. By heating it you weaken the material along its strongest axis. You’ve said many times in the vid “they’re doing this, and I don’t know why.” Your pocket book will know why in time.

This video is our Pool Plumbing Installation. We hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

Awesome pool. Great build vid 👌
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it. I have quite a few videos on the entire pool building process from start to swim!!

@@brinleynicholson4588 Not sure why they ran so many lines under the pool. Should only be one drain line and everything else along the walls.
@@brinleynicholson4588 it’s the torching on the pvc that does that. That flex is ruining the pipe 100%
Would've liked detailed explanations of each plumbing line and component from the plumbers
Plumming looks good!
The only think when u have a inspeccion they goint to tell you its no good to heat the pipe!
Great video! do you do swimming pool plans for permits? How much?

We had an inspection by the city and passed with no issues. Las Vegas may have different codes for pools.
Only the heater exhaust needs to be 5 ft if it is by a fence where you have another home. ICC
Covered w sand to protect it. You cannot pour concrete directly on pipe and in broader process inadvertently damage piping

You mainly cover it to keep the grade and flow perfectly where you want it
Absolutely great epic work guys 👍
They mood the pipe for roller coasters
if in case any leakage happend in future how you will rectify the leakage?.. you will break the pool?
Yes they would have to break the concrete to fix it. But all plumbing was pressure tested before any concrete was poured. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.
MANTAP 👍👍
Mexicans are amazing aint they
Torching that pipe is gonna be reason for a break in your future. Call me for a repair 😘
Awesome example. Helps so much. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
I was wondering, do you know how much water pressure can most pumps endure or service?
good job!
are you guys in California? Can you explain line by line? I have escavation done. Can you explain step by step
Did you ever get this figured out.
very questionable heating up pvc pipe to bend it vs using sweep 90! might shorten life or make brittle . flow is better tho
Not questionable if you’re actually familiar with the material
This is a common practice and reduces the number of cuts and glued connections (aka "leak starters").

Super
It was fun to watch them install all those pipes and watching them bend the PVC with the torch was amazing.
They cover them with sand so they stay in that position when they poor the concrete. If they poor the concrete and it damages a pipe they are fucked.
Thanks for the great information and thanks for watching!!
@@UltimateTechHub What depth of sand between pipe and concrete is recommended for a south florida pool?
Very fucked served
Can you tell me more about the 22 pool cleaners?
Its a floor cleaning system. The return water forces dirt to the main drain
How much would it cost to do the plumbing phase?
Probably about 8 to 10 thousand with the pump and filters.
Imagine one of those lines under the pool cracks or starts to leak and you have to demo and rebuild basically the entire pool to fix it... EEEK
Actuater ?
They forgot the rebar
Its later on in the next video.
Regarding is after plumbing
How long did it take them to do all that in the video?
2 days
Im a pool plumber, here un Dallas tx one job Like that is for 1 day
@@hugoperez3387 so true, same amount of people in our crew here in Vegas and we get that job done before lunch hour.

I live in Las Vegas and 1 drain is all that's required.
