- Today i took my camera to the village of Alton in Staffordshire to have a good look around this lovely area. There really is more to the village itself than just the theme park we all know. Beautiful views and walks, nice local pubs by rivers and lakes with stories behind each door. Some spooky, others told by mere idiots such as myself. We hope you enjoy the film and thank you as always to my good friend Phil for his lovely adaptation of the day.
Alton looks like a very beautiful village , so much history over there across the pond, Thanks for the tour Andy , I enjoyed it : )

@Treeis1995 Thank you so much for watching, i hope you get to stay there, its a serene place to visit and lots of history and stories behind the place. Apparently if you touch the branches on the chained oak it can bring you bad luck. Funnily enough after i touched the chains i had a run of bad luck, maybe i should have left well alone!!
@aliensintheloft cheers Alien lad, Phil did a great job on knitting the day together and it really is well worth a visit, there is loads more footage but time constraints put paid to it, plenty of ale houses and lovely views :)

Excellent stuff Lima and well put together. I have a much deeper appreciation of Alton now and plan to visit at the next available opportunity! Did you go to the theme park too?
That was such a good video, I really want to go to dimmingsdale and stay at the local YHA. The chained oak also looks really good, but why cant you touch the branches?
@rct3lad1303 Its a lovely place, i imagine living there must be very peaceful. I'm happy to have visited and will definitely be going again. I hope you enjoyed the video :)
