That album had some real heat, and I remember Jamie playing it live in Calgary that year. He is my cousin and he and his whole crew came by my home for a visit and supper before playing. None of them had eaten wild meat and we made some deer roast and sausages. They loved it and then we went to the show that night. The performance was immediately very hot and the whole place was moving.
If you've got three guys who really KNOW rock and roll that is all you need to ROCK and these guys are the best. You can't sit down when these guys play.
I love this. The instrumental bit starting at 3:04 blows my mind -- drum solo, bass solo, guitar solo... awesome! Such well written tunes too, major talent.
Saw these guys so many times at Rick's in East Lansing (Mich) and Ann Arbor during the mid/late 80's. So many good memories so thanks for posting!! I have never since been to a show where the whole place just got up and danced - the Kingbees were a phenominal, tight trio!! Awesome!!
Greatest Band of all time. Still listen to this cd from start to finish (1 and 2) in the car. Jamie, you were and still are the coolest. Thanks for letting me hang with you at your shows through the years
Saw The Kinbees play at "Californias" in Windsor, Ontario in the late 1980s. Great night. Have their double album cd on my ipod too. Love their music. Thanks for posting this video!!
I have been trying to find any footage of them since I found out about TH-cam . I still have there 1st record album , even though it is warped from being left on a house radiator . I too am from Canada .
OUT NOW! Makin’ Love Productions presents Featured Artists Vol. 1 with NEW MUSIC from The Kingbees! Available on CD at makinloveproductions.bandcamp.com and streaming worldwide everywhere NOW!
+Aaron Johnson yes I stand corrected.. you be right.. Well Jamie got the boys back together, at least Michael anyway.. for an 35 year anniversary show in Detroit on Oct 17, 2015. C'mon Aaron you got to check it out!! at the Magic Bag, Ferndale
Por eso NO es bueno que esten chingando con sus derechos de autor porque después NO van a encontrar material videográfico de cualquier grupo que quieran hacer un documental, como los KINGBEES no tienen material, solo hay dos videos en su apogeo lo demás es material decadente...
