Hey he did play the closing set at Jones Beach ! This guys is no God hes a Hack ! failed to recreate priest solos of either original player to a T, and no doubt he could have if he wanted to, hack job. ., , his whammy work sucks! no candle to KK , and those parts should be the easiest to recreate, hacking it ! Why can Ozzy find replacements that nail his past guitarists? Because they are not hacking it, throwing in some extra shred parts did not impress me! very disappointed with his tone too. Priest was the double attack guitar band with amazing tone. Guitar God maybe with his own material . Hope Timpton gets some stem cell therapy and can get back in the drivers seat.

The Falcon is the Best all around Guitarist today. His playing just Sings and he is a Great On Stage entertainer. Wouldn't be a Priest interview without Forging and Hammering sounds in Background. Awesome. Great Dude.

I almost bought Richie's Epiphone V. The Floyd and the EMG's are what stopped me. Still, Richie was born for this. He just seems like one of those old-school metal guys from the late 70's/early 80s, only in a much younger incarnation. In an age of country music and EDM, he's a breath of fresh air.
The EMGs are not like 81/85 they are like FAT 55, basically actuve PAFs, I have them, they are amazing. Better than SD 59. And a FR can be locked! I would have liked one, they aren't getting cheaper.
Richie is genuine and engaged. You can tell during their concerts and in this video that he is all about the fans. Very informative and entertaining video. Thanks for sharing!

I saw Priest live for the first time in my life last weekend in Brazil. At 42, raised listening to them, it was a dream that has come true. No word can describe it! Almost cried at the beginning of The Hellion/Electric Eye. I wish I could have shaken their hands and said: Thanks! Thanks a lot!

Dirty Dan I totallly agree! I paid $300 to see Judas Priest as close to the stage as possible. Definitely worth every penny spent for the ticket and all the Judas Priest merchandise I bought the night of the concert in Sugarland Texas
Glow Show judas priest didn't play in ozzfest this year they played near by my city. that was proarably the greatest part of the tour. and man it was awesome
I love the wear on his rigs, he plays and he plays hard and I like to see this shown on them. If he ever sold one and I could afford it, I wouldn't change a thing.
I think Richie has been the same kind of positive spice in the soup for the modern Priest that Vivian Campbell has been for Def Leppard. These monster but well-grounded players have elevated the "A-game" of Glenn Tipton and Phil Collen in a very 'friendly competition' way. Like, "Mate, I'm not here to show you up, I'm here to be one of the ingredients in a great band." Serious guitarists at all levels of accomplishment do best to compete only with themselves.
