    I cannot be more thankful for another helpful video, hyperpigmentation is a huge concern for me as I do have dark spots on my cheeks due to sun exposure and due to not using sunscreen (which I now use religiously). Tbh I never had a consistent skincare routine prior quarantine, so on the good side and after several months in lockdown I now have a routine that I do twice a day and makes so happy (better late than ever) ... I do love the Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% but after your video I think I've been using it the wrong way: I apply it after my cleanser and after my hydration (I use the marine Hyaluronics) and right after I use the "buffet" ... the use of peptides is still a bit confusing for me :)
    The Lactic acid is another product I love, I use the 5% at night; the only product I haven't been able to successfully include in my routine is the Granactive Retinoid 2% In Squalene.
    Thank you for another great video, greetings from Costa Rica :)

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey Nora!
      Thank you so much for your kind words. I have never been to Costa Rica but it's definitely on my bucket list🥰
      I am happy to hear you are having success with your Ordinary products and you're right, it's never too late to start a good skincare regimen..
      Peptides are great for signs of aging.. For your morning routine stick with your Ascorbic Acid + Alpha Arbutin, Hyaluronic Acid, Moisturizer and SPF
      Night routine: alternate your nights with the lactic acid and your retinoid (don't use together).. You can use Hyaluronic Acid with both and you can use peptides with the Retinoid as well since the Ordinary doesn't have conflicts with it..
      I hope this helps.

      I am glad you found the video helpful... When it comes to pregnancy, of course I am not a doctor and I wouldn't want to give false information. I would suggest contacting Deciem or any skincare brand and ask them directly or most importantly, your doctor 😉

    • @JosephineMarch7
      @JosephineMarch7 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sincerely Miss Ash Thank you for your response. I understand you are not a doctor and unless you were pregnant and needed to know this information for yourself, you probably would not know. Why should you 😉 The thing is, I contacted Deciem and they dont know either. And my doctor, well if I asked they would consider me crazy. This is something I need to find out myself. And I do my research but often find opossite info so it is confusing. Anyways, I appreciate your helpful informative video 👍 Have a nice day 🌸

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know I asked Deciem a while ago about a few products from the Ordinary and pregnancy and they did respond back and said that their product line has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women and to consult with a professional prior to using..
      I can tell you some products to be avoided when pregnant but again I am not a doctor (wish I was lol)... Retinol/Retinoid/Tretinoin (any retinol product) should be avoided. Hydroquinone is another one that should be avoided, benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid is another one I have heard to avoid during pregnancy, acutane as well as chemical sunscreens but I am not 100% certain on that one..
      I hope I helped in some sort of way☺️

    • @JosephineMarch7
      @JosephineMarch7 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sincerely Miss Ash Yes, these ingrediences are mostly stated to avoid in pregnancy. The questionable one for me though is salicylic acid. Some women use Lotion P50 by Biologique Recherche in their pregnancy routine but it contains salicylic acid. I wondered if I can continue using it so I contacted a spa that use and sell BR products and they said it´s pregnancy safe. So I dont know. Anyways, you are a darling and I thank you for all your effort and help! Have a lovely weekend 🌺

    Is it critical to apply every product separately? I understand the concept of lighter, water based products graduating to heavier, cream to oil based products. But for instance, can all your peptides or serums be combined in the palm of the hand, mixed up and then applied all at once? I did read this on someone’s skincare vlog once and have been doing that for quite a while. It is so much faster and easier and I am more inclined to use severalproducts that way rather than having to take the time to do many one at a time. But am I neutralizing the effectiveness of the product by combining it with others in the application? thanks for any enlightenment.

      Yes!! I would suggest starting with the 5% first to see how your skin reacts and then you can decide whether you want to up it to the 10%
