Congratulations. Very well done to you, the co-drivers and of course the all important pit crew. Thank you for letting us share the 24 hours with you all.
25:05 In Czech we have saying for that “Neříkej hop, dokud nepřeskočíš” - “Do not say hop, until you will have jumped”. :) Nice video and stream as always, I enjoyed watching them both
wow, you did it! Just a great 24h trip. Maybe I will do that with my Zoe too... hehe But I can only charge 43 kW ac, not fast DC like the Tesla. Would be a cool challenge!
@@TravelwithPavel I asked last week in Prague Tesla Service and the man there told me that is possible. But I didnt tried yet. Second tesla at home is quite expensive toy.. :D
@@janmoravek6133 it's true I spoke with Tesla representative from Vienna (but for Czech Republic) and it's possible to order it through Austria and pick it up in Vienna (but only for last 3 - 4 weeks, before it wasn't possible at all) the process is a just bit more complicated, but I'm ordering my next week, so hopefully I will have my before end of October.
Finally you got me pearl white (watch your referral list).Thank you for continuous pleasant inspiration! Hope Bremen Superchargers will get CCS soon to find you here once a day ... or in Finnmark :-? Stay healthy!!!
Congratulations! Great Job! For the Model 3, it seems there is potential for more, because even that you took the ideal route, there seem to have been some hindrances, like weather, road construction, and maybe a LR RWD would have done even better. IONITY still will be best for future attempts, because in Germany, Superchargers are never directly on a pit-stop style rest area, you always have to do a little detour, and I don't think this will change once SuC V3 comes to Germany...
Awesome achievement, congratulations to the whole team!!! So since you have the record for 24h distance in an EV, and probably the record for most referral supercharger km's as well... How about a 1 MWh challenge? How many km's can you drive using 1 Mega Watthour of Supercharger juice? It might not be as easy, since the slower supercharger charging makes it for a really long day. Then again, since only the energy input counts, you could get a good night's sleep in between runs if you want to :-)
Bjorn, do you think the slightly greater efficiency of the LR RWD Model 3 would be a benefit, or would the greater performance of the Dual motor offset the efficiency? Big congratulations to you and your team, a tremendous result, and far more challenging than most of us could imagine.
Very impressive performance but I challenge you to try in Italy where the charging columns are basically few... endless sadness ... you are in the Heaven of EV cars 😂
Bjørn, a friend of mine does not buy a Tesla Model 3 SR+ because she thinks it can only do 250km in winter. Please do a video of an SR+ range test when it gets cold in Norway so I can show her. Thanks ! Love your video's.
Yes, that is about correct. But when you drive long trip - whatever the vehicle - you probably should stop every 2 hours for 20 minutes, which is 17% of the time. They spent about 25% of their time charging,
you need all things to work for 250 kw ther ar only verry Few Gen 3 Chargers in the USA som of them in Hawthorne California. and you need the Software update on yourTesla so thos Gen 2 chargers only Output maximum 120 if you chare Charger there are a and b stall if on is charging on a stall youbs hall awoid The B stall if you dont you only get sub 100 Kw. so you wil have to wait untill Tesla put out the 3 gen SC in mass.
I am waiting for the day when Teslas have 1000 km range. Till then this constant stopping at charging stations is not for me. This will not work in Australia.
I don’t get your point. So you will drive 1000 kms without stopping in between? Not good for bladder man!! Anyway, EVs are already much practical and in many ways better than any ICE shit. The only challenging thing I can think of is unavailability of a very wide charging infrastructure. Well, even ICE cars faced that in the initial phase of the industry. So, it will get better anyways. 👍👍
@@billnipp2309 no that's not a record. Thats just stupidly wasting fossil fuel and heating up the globe. For BEV (battery powered electric vehicles) this is a big thing because you can charge insanely fast and the Model 3 is so efficient that driving at 170kph doesn't matter! It's awesome! It's efficiency can never be beaten by a fossil burner
so nice that the car was donated for this amazing event. Great job Bjorn!

Nice, congratulations and it's so great that it was Norwegian-Czech team and Tesla's are not officially sold in CZ yet (so Elon should hurry up)
You can order it in czech sales guy in vienna tesla... but I understand what you talking about.

Well done Bjørn,
nice to see you setting this new km mark. 👏
Did I get it right, you used a LR Dual-Motor ?

It should at least do 300 km in winter.
Awesome, can you do this with some other cars, like the Ioniq?
someone did this with Ioniq. 2100 ish km
Average speed was ~116 km/hr., but cruising speed was ~170 km/hr. So only ~70% of the 24 hrs. was spent driving (remainder was charging.)
You also have to factor in the low speed driving on and off the Autobahn.
