Why did Grant Gustin say doing the musical crossover reminded him so much of Glee? And why did Danielle Panabaker decide to skip out on the musical episode? Why didn't Candice Patton sing in the crossover? The Flash is genuinely made up of characters that can pretty much do anything. I mean, we’ve witnessed them sprint at superspeed, leap from the tallest buildings with so much ease it’s insane, and even attempt to live normal civilian lives. But if that wasn’t enough to have us mere mortals impressed, they reveal that most of the cast have another incredible superpower: Amazing singing voices. Just ask Grant Gustin! In this CW crossover, we get to see many of our favorite superheroes sing their lungs out and we love it in season 3 of The Flash in an episode called The Duet. We go behind the scenes of The Flash and see which of the cast members were actually singing. For example, we get to witness supergirl sing ... yes Melissa Benoist has the voice of an angel and we can't get enough. Carlos Valdes also lends his musical talents to The Flash crossover episode. We also couldn’t forget about Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker who are a little less keen on giving their voices over to the musical *(find out why in the video). And last but definitely not least we get to hear Jesse L. Martin sing which is always a great experience for everyone.
