  • See what happens when I use Blue Devil Head Gasket Sealer with this engine that has almost 400,000 miles on it. It's blowing gases into the coolant system and engine overheating. So I decided to try Blue Devil Head Gasket Sealer to fix bad head gasket because of so many stories of positive results with this product. Honestly, it was probably time to rebuild or replace this engine so why not give it a try. Shocked with the results! Thanks for the video mister, what i saw here is that your drained-out coolant was brand new, and the water flushing your car's cooling system was coming out crystal clean which makes me doubt that this car has 400000 miles on it !! in any way I believe that this liquid works from the statistics in the amazon critics wrote simple people ,,, and worth trying it before spent a fortune do the repair the right way, repairing the whole head and valves and put on a brand new gasket and use this can for another 400000 mile, many thanks again take care regards from Europe Greece.

      To be honest, I'd personally recommend steel seal if you can get it. No clogging agents at all because it works by sealing low compression areas in the cylinders. Took a week or so to seal correctly but did the job right. Just be sure to continually check your coolant level every two days afterwards regardless of which product you use.

      @jakshacksdiys7919  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was dark and dirty in the reservoir tank and you're right I should shown the test before I drained it. My main concern was that there was pressure building up in the system the top radiator hose was so pressurized you couldn't even squeeze it a little bit it look like it was going to pop and even after leaving it sit like that for a few days the pressure never went down. I couldn't undo the radiator cap even after a day or two without pressure blowing out of it. But after using the Blue Devil I can run the engine and after a few hours of letting it cool down I can pop the radiator cap and no pressure problem. I'm not looking to fool anybody with this product I'm just letting you know that it worked for me.

    I deeply need help from someone because I don't have any money right now but I need to fix my car because it is the only way I can go to work back and forth. I wanted to try this method but I cannot understand the hoses I need to remove, in some videos, they only mentioned to remove the thermostat then flush the coolant, after that, pour the Blue Devil, let it run for an hour, then let it cool again for an hour, then bring back the thermostat, test drive for about 20 minutes or so(driving slow) then check again after 24hrs if the car is running great. The only sign right now is that the radiator has bubbles. My mechanic is telling me that I need a full top overhaul because of coolant has bubbles and it is blowing the water out of the radiator. I wanted to try something I watched on TH-cam where you flush out the coolant and then put a head gasket sealant and let it run for 30 mins then repeat if for 5 times. Some of the comments said it worked. But with the symptoms my car is showing, do I really need a top overhaul or can I try this out first? I'm thinking that the mechanic might just want that extra job for the money. I will really appreciate your respone on this. Great vid and keep it coming buddy! Cheers!

      @jakshacksdiys7919  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      In a world where we all had plenty of money I would say you have a most likely head gasket problem. But I have the same problem with gas is going into my coolant but I did not have any coolant mixing with the oil. So I figured why not for $40 try this stuff and I followed the directions exactly I even went on the manufacturer's website to watch there directions and instructions exactly did a little research and the final outcome was that it worked for me. Now with that said I did this on a vehicle that had almost four hundred thousand miles on it which the engine is tired and I would be replacing the engine if keeping the vehicle. So this was the best moment for me to try out this product and show it to other viewers that it can work just like in life there are no guarantees but you'll never know till you try. So I wish you all the best I hope it works for you if you try it.

    I think your PVC valve was clogged. I wouldnt use that stuff on an engine I wanted to rebuild but on a junker, who cares.

    You didn't do a block test to confirm your diagnosis of bad head gasket. So, how do you know it was blown? This makes the "after" test meaningless. We don't know if blue devil worked in this case because you didn't test it using the block tester before. This engine could have tested negative (blue) before the Blue Devil. There are other explanations for coolant loss and power loss but for this test of Blue Devil, it would be more accurate to confirm a head gasket failure before you confirm that Blue Devil fixed the head gasket in this case.

      When he ran the car the coolant bubbled. That shows combustion gases are coming through the coolant. Head gasket leak.

    Incorrect testing procedures. You only pumped the bulb 3 or 4 times total. There was not enough exhast gasses flowing over the liquid to trigger a reasonable chemical reaction. Thats not how you use the chemical testing tool. you should have pumped it many, many times and ,many times again to get allot of gas through the test liquid. You fouled the test by using incorrect testing procedures. This variant of the acual Blue devil product can be very dangerous. It could possiably completly destroy engines, water pumps. And this guy did not do the test corectly after putting it in. Only use it on a auto that you are unconcerned about as demonstrated.. This is the Pour-and-go-product. I've seen potential damage this has been accused by others of causing and/or could have caused. I dont understand what you thought the test was doing when you were just holding the tube over the cap area without activating the test bulb. No gasses were going into the test chamber during these prolonged times. While it could get you going if you were stranded. It can possiabley gumm up areas of your engine which could cause extensive damage. Also, You can't really flush a block correctly by using chemical flushers unless it has had a scheduled routine flush maintance. Proof: Locate a freezer plug that you can access on the side of the block. Remove it which somewhat will Drain part of the block. remove the freez plug then use your fingers to scoop over a cup or more of solid gunk from the bottom coolent channer of the coolent system. It's a joke. yes, clean water is comming out, but it is ridding over the impacted sludge that was impacted in the bottom of the coolent channel which it cannot dislodge without pulling freezer plugs or getting professionl power flush service. (which should me monitored as to not put to much pressure into the coolent system). There can also be carbon chunks also which can plug liquid flow if it,s not flushed right. If you do have scheduled maintance at the correcttimes , then it will be cleaner. but use at your own risk. I would not use it for my personel openion reasons stated. And I challenge you to obtain support refund for a failed usage attempt. Document carefully as to leave no reason to be blamed for taking actions to repair any suspect damage.

      In all you're probably right on that I think I held up the wrong bottle in the video they have two different types. The pour and go doesn't require removal of the thermostat. I apologize for that video mistake but if you go to the products website and watch their video on the regular stuff they do remove it. Believe me it turned into a nightmare because I broke one of the bolts. But all in all it worked. Thanks for keeping me honest and correcting me. Thank you for your comment.

    You NEVER really TESTED the Combustion gases YOU HAVE TO SQUEEZE that Bulb MANY MANY times constantly to bring the air level and into the Fluid ! It will Bubble and Bubble , IF the Bubbles and Fluid STAY BLUE your good to go BUT YOU didnt do it correctly ?? you squeezed it ONCE , NOT enough air Drawn into the testing tube and INTO the BLUE fluid for a correct test ...

      Never use new equipment when using these ad-hoc duck tape fixes. I've no doubt it would clog a brand new radiator or water pump.
