I remember when this body style Torino showed up I seen a few that had the Falcon name on them. Maybe a half year thing. The first one I seen was owned by an old guy and was a low budget one that was a 6 cyl with 3 on the tree. But then later I knew a guy that dealt in classic cars and he had one with the Falcon badge also but was a factory drag race version of one that was wimbledon white with black on the hood. It was a 429 ci, 4 speed, low gears, posi with other race stuff I have forgot. It was a special light weight version with radio delete, no heater, rubber floor and maybe some fiberglass body panels. It was quite rare and worth a lot of money. It was dealer owned and raced and never titled until he got it. The odometer only showed 732 miles. He took me a ride in it and it would scream in the quarter mile.
Yes, one of our local guys had one that won stock eliminator at the Musclecar Nationals back in the 90's. Would run in the high 10's. 70-1/2 Falcons. Very rare cars with the 429, 4-speed drag package.
Carl Newton was a great lacrosse coach and I will never forget him trusting an 18 year old kid to drive his beautiful, yellow on black, 429 Torino CJ. Thanks Carl! RIP.

These cars are excellent burnout Beast.
AWESOME absolutely awesome 👊
Need some good size tires and some real traction bars. Smoking is going nowhere. Non-impression. Like the car not the concept of doing that.

Have you ever passed it along. I know alot of older guys who just don't do the same
Damn Ford used to make badass engines, I remember having an Ltd station wagon with a cobra in it and that was a hell of a car to drive.
429 could have done that all day!
So can an old lady in a mini van, standing on the brakes doing a burnout is lame.
