The screams they use in the game comes from the Animal Creature Large Animal Death Scream(which is the same scream used by Bowser when he dies in Super Mario 64, and is also used as Gyarado’s cry in Pokémon Snap, Landia’s cry in the Kirby series, Jinchuriki Naruto’s cry(and his clone), and Innocentius’s cry in Certain Magical Index!😄
One of the best games on the Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance in gaming history and still to this day.
Morton, Ludwig, and Roy got off easy after their defeats while Iggy, Lemmy, Wendy, and Larry screamed in agony as they are dunked inside the lava and I feel bad after defeating them knowing they are children.

For some reason this game has the hardest final boss I’ve EVER played
Iggy and Larry are the same but Larry's has jumping fire.
Morton and Roy are the same but Roy's wall will become narrow.
Lemmy and Wendy are the same but Lemmy has only one flying fire, Wendy has double.
Ludwig is lonely, no one takes after him.
Susia and Vortex are the same but Susia on a vacuum robot spinning around.

In my own experience playing the Advance port of Mario World, I never noticed the disturbing sound Iggy and Lemmy when they fall into the lava (or just any of the Koopalings falling in the lava).

Iggy, Larry, Lemmy and Wendy make a sound effect when defeated? I never knew that. I also noticed that I think is the same sound effect that Bowser makes when defeated made by Peter Cullen on the King Kong 1976 film.

I agree they died in horrific agony and stayed dead for a decade until cackletta resurrected them in super star saga. In Mario 3 you merely defeated them but in Mario world you literally murder them. Jesus lemmy is only 8 years old!!!

What happen to the bomb at 5th castle?
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th castle became the sand castle when finished the boss. 4th, 6th and 7th castle just disappeared and didn't become sand castle.

+Pheonix Ortiz That's a relatively popular stock monster sound. But yeah, they sound like they're is serious pain. The text in the cutscenes afterwards also suggests them to be dead. The ways some of the koopa kids vanish is kinda weird too. Iggy was called "demented" in the original version of the game. Wow, the Mario series has changed from that because the koopas now have comedic voices instead of squeals, growls, and roars, and they're shown to be alive at the ends of the games.

Anything in excruciating agony will not be able to scream properly. It will just shriek hysterically. Using this type of scream like an actual creature burning alive is very dark.
