Dude I paused the video to make sure I'm not going insane or something when Olexa said that lol. Olexa just thinks waay too differently and I'm here for it!
I’d love to think this is my big brain strat or something but the reality is, it was really hard for my brain to wrap up around that I can use my dice on myself. There’s a lot to manage in this game so I kinda just completely brain blanked that I wouldn’t use that on an enemy
@@OlexaYT also it can prevent bad guys from healing. I didn't think of using it on yourself either, tbh!
@@OlexaYTya im already seeing HUGE nuke strats i could throw togeather like with the darkside that apply doom moonies trick is she can FLIP curse actions into not curse ones. IE doom has some purfy veriant that would amp purity. so a 11 shot could become 110! it also can proably be fliped to HEAL a heart instead. also i feel like by the end of the run ya brain was so choked on the mechanics IT SHUT RIGHT DOWN! because you went and was miss reading something good. but ya the games self harm mechanics has boons as you found, sometimes the best offence is self torment. if you want some fun play the house mod in risk of rain 2 there you will see and posable learn how to tango with this games twists
@@OlexaYT for this game you just need to understand if the enemy is already a corrupted being corruption heals and you are a "pure" being so purification on you will heal but when you purify an enemy it will arm them because they are corrupt and when you corrupt a pure being it will harm them so blocking corruption is always good on enemy or yourself blocking purification is always bad on enemy or yourself
I'm definitely pronouncing grimoire as gramoray from now on, it just sounds cooler.

Lemme help you understand some mechanics you’ve read but already misunderstood in classic Olanky fashion ❤
Normal convert is only in YOUR hand.
Manipulate is convert ANY die.
Convert only works on corruption type faces, not status effects or some of the future things that deal corruption x times
Your main virtue is active each turn (well you probably figured that out from the convert, which is why it didn’t work)
Block corruption is not the same as block purify. The incorruptible keyword doesn’t block any purify, so putting it on an enemy would allow you to block their self-corruption and play unconverted dice on them without healing or overcorrupting them.
Unlikely to be super relevant this run, but doom increases corruption values on your dice, which you can convert for higher values, which is why that die with the lose a heart face was good (it had two +10 doom to any target faces)
And then a preemptive one on enhancing dice, they only work on 1’s of a purify type face. But they also work on area stuff or your sentinels (you got rid of that one die with a bunch of 1-faces, which is there to enable an enhance deck)
Also make sure to read all status effects on monsters or you might be in for some bad surprises down the line lol

I think light shield on the ennemies will block the self corruption they do to themselves
Correct
Blocking corruption on enemies makes them not able to heal or over corrupt (which gives them a free hit on you) so shields that blocks corruption block red die damage, blocking purification is the one you don't want enemies to have
i love games with a push and pull system like this. so damn unique and so damn creative

I saw a 45 minute episode and Openly confusing mechanics left and right and was ready for a quick death, great to see I was wrong and the run isn't over.

Incorruptable deffinitely means enemy cant heal themselves lol but i get it, the meanings being backwards on enemies gets confusing
light shield on you prevents damage, light shield on enemy prevents healing and vice versa with that dark shield

Actually with a full deck full of draw 2 dice and damage 3 you cna become invicible each gurn so it's isn't that bad @_@
