Hello, Node Farm dev here (ByerN) - thanks for playing it on your channel (and for feedback)! It is great to see own game in my subscription feed. Love the video - nice farm you got there in the end :D Some clarifications - if you connect multiclicker node to the farmers or wells and click the multiclicker, it will click all connected nodes at once. I will change the node description to make it more clear. Also - farmer can farm only one seed/vegetable at once (there is a buff that increases concurrency). In general there are various buffs/nodes that player can choose to unlock along with buying a new island and change his playstyle. Demo is limited but full version will have much more available playstyles. I had a degree in electronics and software engineering too btw :D Logic nodes are optional - mostly providing tools for advanced optimization/automatization. Thanks again for playing and great video! I hope that you liked it :)
Hey dev, any plans on bringing this to mobile? I really want to play this but don't have a pc. I wish more games were ported to mobile, the options I have are abysmal.
@@vladdangel After finishing Steam version I am planning to port Node Farm to mobile and Switch. I have some experience with android games, will have to buy Apple hardware for iOS, and I always wanted to see my games on Nintendo Switch :) As ports are expensive, I will be thinking about them after certain milestones to know if it is better to move to the next game development or invest in porting Node Farm (same for other platforms like PS or Xbox). Mobile and Switch sounds like a great fit for this game.
Normally I either have a "holy hell he's so cracked" or "wow, tyler bad" reaction to these videos, but this game is so incomprehensible about what's *actually* happening that I have no idea wtf to think
I looks like he needs close to a 1 to 1 ratio for farmers to farms but he has way too many farms so the farms are just sitting idle. He also doesn't have enough storage to make use of the price fluxuation. So he's sitting there not collecting anything while prices are low and his storage is just full. Also he can't sell enough of his crops while prices are high I wonder is he misplays on purpose, the game is giving him examples of how to set things up and he's just ignoring them.
Copying what the tutorial says is lame. I’d rather learn from my own mistakes. By the end, the farm is completely functional and totally fine but y’all want instant gratification. Life is a journey
Is crazy what a good night sleep and know what you’re doing can do to someone homeboys cracked. He also working at least 40 hours a week and in Contant for us. Respect
Lol When Olexa was complaining that then the farmers wouldn't be able to connect because it would intersect, I couldn't stop thinking "just move the frikking crops!!"
I don't normally comment ever, but I don't think I've ever yelled at someone harder if at all. I don't know if I have it in me to finish this one 🥲. Great content Tyler. I love the channel.
It's so funny to me that basically the entire community that watches Tyler is here because we love his personality but God do we ever hate his IQ sometimes XDD.
just loving the "how does this work" when there's a literal picture tutorial of how nodes work and how to set up an efficient farm for most of the video lmao
Dang man, sorry people are being pretty rude in the comments. People need to understand that everyone's mind is built different, and puzzles you'd solve in an instant they'd struggle with. Don't let them beat you down! I'm also sorry I left a somewhat derisive comment on one of your past videos. I meant it in good fun and humor, but I realize it could very easily be conflated with the general negativity.
i saw some random videos about this game, watched them, played the game, and i’ve been waiting a couple weeks for you to cover it!! Thank you, i clicked so fast😎
You only need one connection from any node to another there's no need for the spaghetti around the chests. Also try connecting your storages for tomatoes and corn you will have more storage for both that way and you can use a filter to pull the one you need.
you have to click the auto clicker thing; it makes it so that you don’t have to manually click each of the nodes or whatever, but i do NOT blame you for not realizing that 😅😅
Yell comment here xD , nah JK, the fact you didnt use the water road to connect traight up to it the 1st farmer so you could align the corn with the farmers was just UGH xD
"tyler bad" game looks really interesting but it making connections under nodes seems really confusing and some of the tutorial could be worded better. Definitely something to check out on my own time.
If I'm understanding the auto clicker based on what it says it should click all connected click able nodes. Instead of clicking each node separately you click on the auto clicker and it clicks all connected nodes at the same time allowing you to click multiple nodes at ones. Seems straightforward but perhaps I'm over analyzing it and am actually wrong.
Hey Tyler, you might be interested in "shadows of forbidden gods". Eldritch/cosmic horror themed hex tile citybuilder/turn based strategy game. Id love to see one of my favourite game channels cover this relatively unknown gem, if it happens to be of interest.
@@shanesather9435isn't he on record saying he loves tile games? It's not a roguelike though, true Edit: I was thinking of his hexpire video. It's right at the beginning, in the intro.
I tried the demo and it's pretty easy to accidentally leave adjacent tiles unconnected. I ended up leaving the X-ray mode on but having a ui indicator for connections or unconnected tiles would go a long way
i wonder how long it takes till he realises that the connections get removed when the plant is completly harvested and the autoconnecter is there so to c9nnect again to the seeds
@@dead3y3_YT I fixed a lot of things thanks to this video :D It was a great feedback. Now tutorial/hints are much more smooth. + some major changes like removing taxes or area-based buffs. Still improving it when I find some difficulties that players struggle with :)
It’s quite literally advertised as a roguelike. I’m just titling my video the way the game is presented. I think it’s more “run-based” than it looks here, they’re just long runs.

Looks like it would be awsome on mobile too, but most dont move to mobile... @vladdangel

I am about 60% into this video, this game seems like it could be pretty fun, but there are to many problems to hold long term interest.
For example, having to manually connect boxes of same type that are next to each sure is a problem, that should be automatic.
