@@taiseifujio4601 Your brake rotor could be too close to one side of the pads so you could try realigning it, but it could also be slightly bent so you could try bending it back with some pliers or something if you don't have a brake truing tool. Basically spin the wheel to see where it's rubbing and you can loosen the brake caliper bolt and move it a little to adjust it. This might be kindof confusing to explain though

Tbh i do miss rear sus a bit since im bit older dude (40ish) with health problems but weight difference is noticeable , next will be some light full sus xc for sure.

I just recently developed an interest riding MTBs and I honestly have no experience building one 🤣 so I was kinda worried what to have for my first MTB build. Did a lot of research and realized you don't really need to build one for entry level XC biking. From your videos I've learned that Giant Talon are a mountain entry bikes that perform well on paved roads compared to the rest of brands. This is what I was looking for, speed on paved road with some light trail capabilities (three roots, some rocks). Gravel road will be child's play for these bikes.
Also, I like that most frame size can use 27.5 and 29 inch wheels.

Excellent info, would you 'add/upgrade/enhance the Talon series with better handlebars/pedals, tires etc? Looks like a great bike if you have a Giant Trance 29 E mtn bike, as a spare. I ride at 9,000' for 20 miles, van shuttled, so the e bike is for 8 mile rides UP,. The e bike is higher maintenance, can wait for parts, hence the Talon idea. Riding Utah ski resort territory, the Crest trail, Park City, Deer Valley area. Simple is good and I agree, Giant makes a perfectly fine set of well thought out bikes that have been around for years-and won't break the bank.

Thanks for this video. It was very helpful. I am trying to decide between talon 0 and talon 1. I want to start trail riding this winter. I usually do road biking on a 2014 propel. There is a Talon 1 available close by to me but there is a talon 0 800km away. Do you think it’s worth the trip? I want to do trail riding and want to have a much better time than I have been on my cheap department store hybrid. No trick or jumps just a smoother easier time getting there through the trail. Last ride was 270m of climb over 12km of distance. Also would you recommend 27.5 or 29 for a person in my situation.

I really like your comparison videos, very thorough. Will you ever be able to review Polygon bikes? I've been eyeing the Polygon Xtrada 6 or 7.

Thank you! And I’ll consider those, though more people have been asking about some other brands first, so it might take a bit longer :(

Hello. Very good presentation but im looking for this model 'Talon 29 1 GE 2021' and this is a bit different then this Talon 1 on your presentation. As i see it has 22 speeds. So the mark GE means something else? Can we say its the same bike or better or worse? Thanks for the answer.

Hi. I bought a second-hand bike from a second-hand shop. But the series is not visible. How do I know what model it is? I need to know what model it is because it has some defects and I need to buy some parts, and I don't know what model it is. Thank you

I bought talon 3 recently, produced in Hungary and it comes with the alivio shifter in the back. Anyway it doesn't work very well, it may not be adjusted...?

Where is the lockout on the talon 2? Local bike shop says it doesn’t have one. How can you tell?

I just bought a Cannondale Trail SE3 (2021 model). I was just wondering if you've done a similar one of these videos for the Trail (or Trail SE) lineup?

There aren't a lot of videos that I've found on the Cannondale lineup, why is that? Are they just not a popular brand?

I am in a dilemma whether to go for Talon 2 or Talon 3. But Talon 2 concrete color is not available in Ireland at present.
