It's a shame that didn't work out, but I agree Lavi, it will be maybe a blessing in disguise to get a little bit of experience riding in the UK first before going to tackle the madness of India. I'm looking forward to seeing your India trip eventually, but also the UK has a lot to offer in terms of great riding from what I've seen. I've travelled through England, Scotland and Wales, but only in a car and am looking forward to returning on 2 wheels soonish. So I'm looking forward to seeing your local adventures. I follow other motorcycle channels including a Spanish speaking couple who have traveled the world for years.
Throughout the middle east and Africa they had no major issues. While going through India they were attacked at their camp and the woman was brutalized by seven men.
If you're determined to go to India please use the utmost caution and do not put yourselves in any situation that may leave you regretting your decision to go to such a country.
Yes we saw that too, really horrible 😔 we felt so sorry for such a bad experience.

Hi Guys... sorry to hear that your visa got denied to India... nice to hear you guys were planning go travel to my hometown Cochin..its the monsoon season now with heavy rains and floods.. so best to travel much more later in the year i guess..anyways i enjoy ur vlogs and are inspired by your trips.. would love to meet u guys some day. we have a big group of riders here in the UK from Kerala called Kerala Tuskers Motorcycle club...planning a trip to France and Spain this year..❤

The visa denial may well have been a blessing in disguise (a real bummer about the money lost for the plane fares, though), in that Lavi is so fresh a rider still. The extra training on British roads will be invaluable(!) before tackling the- from a European perspective- mad traffic on Indian roads. I don't worry so much for Ollie. He's had quite the practice session, hasn't he, on the 75 000 kilometres around the world, but fresh biker Lavi? Practice is golden here, I think. The more miles on UK roads before the big trip, the better.

Hey guys - we always say these things happen for a reason -What will be will be right. Having just spent a few months driving across northern India the driving is on another level !! I've (Chris) have had a bike since I was 17 and used to commute in London rush hour for years but India is on another level. You will find new adventures. - enjoy the UK and hopefully see you when we're back xx

Saw you at the ABR the other day, you were great. Why not visit as many biker cafes as you can on your UK tour. That would be much better for Lavvi to get some experience before diving in to India (baptism of fire or what)

I wanted to advice the same.. not in India... madness...
It’s better to get your visa sorted out first then book the tickets. Your 6-month visa once in the passport is good for one year and then once you enter India the 6-month starts. A better time to go to Southern India is October through to February. 65% of rainfall is from June through to August Southwest monsoon season.

Hey guys! India is just another dimension. Apart from very dangerous road traffic conditions all over the country..
There is also a massive safety & security concern. Southern states are a tiny bit better but some of the northern states are very dangerous/ extreme.
The upside is the biking community is unlike anywhere and they will defo support you guys! Please proceed only with a solid plan. This visa hookup is a a defo blessing !
Also I’m driving alone to West Africa in my truck in a week. Would be nice to connect & get some pointers. 😊

Hello Lavi and Ollie, I am from India and I live in Mumbai. I just wanted to suggest you that if you are planning to ride bike in India then try to carry as less load on bike as possible because the level of traffic of Indian roads is crazy, even in Mumbai where comparatively traffic is more disciplined than cities in northern India, still is no match for any of the other countries you travelled. The only area where you can get ''normal" driving conditions in north-eastern India which is also the least explored and arguably one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on Earth. Also try to visit Ladakh where you can travel on the highest motorable in the world. And one last thing, you can ride bike on all roads in India except on "expressways'' because two wheelers are not allowed on it. Thank you.

That's the best that could have happened to Lave, in my useless opinion. You both will explore the 🇬🇧 and she'll have the time to develop properly the skills in a moderate traffic environment. Riding in India is crazy even for experienced riders.

Argh that's a shocker! There's always Snowdonia and up the coast and Anglesey (West Wales and South Wales also) plus am biased towards Shropshire.
Plus then the Lake District and the NC500. Of course there's more but these would be my picks. Ireland too a ferry away...

Yes definitely, our new next destinations 😍 Will be good to have some time here in the UK to explore anyway. Audio is always the hardest, make sure all your helmet vents are closed as wind seems to be the biggest issue for us. Can't wait to see the presentation video :)

I wouldn't even suggest driving a Tank on the roads in India. And of course the recent security issue with Travelers regarding camping in different sites! It really feels like God saved you by denying the Visa. Please ride across Europe or US instead. Would love to see that!

@@LaviandOllie That's tough, I have been to Kerala and its wonderful. Its an easier introduction to India than Mumbai which isn't for everyone. I loved it but its a hard one.

Provided you don't need a visa now to cross the border (???), go North to Oban and take the CalMac day ferry trip from Oban to Iona via Mull.
No cars or motor bikes sadly, but well worth it for the scenery and Iona Abbey is magical on its own.

Lost around 300 usd trying to get the 6 months US visa. Plus a few days waiting and for transit. Without that delay, I probably wouldn't have been robbed because I would have passed the area earlier.
Luckily the rest of the visas were fairly smooth sailing.

Sorry to hear your visa was denied and not to give a reason is bad, If you want to see some of the best scenery in the world I would strongly recommend you go to Scotland, I go every year and it still blows my brains, I was up there at the end of April into may on my motorcycle 🏍. Sorry to hear this. My visa for India was also denied. I was living in the Netherlands, no Indian visas for UK citizens were being issued there. This was in retaliation as UK visas were not being issued to Indian citizens in The Netherlands. They told me to go to Germany or apply for one in the UK. I finally got mine using VFS, not sure if this is available now. Good luck.

Oh, that was not good news. Even first time heard that a Visa for India was denied. May be Lave did something in a former life which you are not aware of.😃 On the other hand you can learn more about your own country and for Lavi it will only give her more experience on the bike driving in India is a total different thing.
