This made me cry. I am born Catholic but not a practicing one. My Born Again Christian friend keeps on inviting me to her church. It's true that their church is very welcoming and people are very friendly. However, I knew in my heart that I will be forever Catholic. And listening to your Catholic journey is reminding why I need to stay as Catholic. ❤️❤️❤️
Protestants do not know what--or rather WHO they are missing. Yes, they love Jesus, but they cannot RECEIVE Him, CONSUME Him, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. Jesus established His Catholic Church for US. Stay home in His Catholic Church, where He fully is, where the Holy Spirit is, and the Father is. No matter what protestant sect it is, it is incomplete, it will ALWAYS be incomplete, because Jesus didn't found ANY of them. As an ex-Baptist, I know what I am saying. Jesus brought me Home to His Catholic Church in 1986-1987. ❤
I am a convert and was extremely happy and fulfilled for a period of time in my church before but it didn’t last. Many things that crept in to disrupt everything were theological things but I didn’t really know that at the time...I just knew something wasn’t right. There was an “incompleteness” and a feeling that there was a facade but what I was experiencing wasn’t mostly real. Eventually I discovered Catholicism and it was a tough sell at first but 2 things drew me in and those same 2 things got me through the confusion and will always hold me to the Catholic Church...the Eucharist and Apostolic Succession. Draw near to the truth, sister and you will find a fullness of the faith that you won’t find anywhere else.
When I was a child in Spain, some time after my 1st Communion, I went to Confession. At the end the priest asked me to say the Act of Contrition and I told him I didn't know it. He got so upset at me that I did not go back to Confession till 18 years later... Now I am a priest... Thinking about it later, I told myself that after all nobody obliged me to confess to that particular priest, that I was free to look for another one. And now, when I confront people telling me similar things I always tell them that they are the ones to choose the priest for confession, the Church never imposes us a particular priest for confession, She lets us completely free. There is a curious contrast: if we have had a bad experiance with a doctor, we look for a better one; when we have had a bad experiance with a priest we do not go back to confession for years, instead of looking for a better one... That was my case.. We should preach again and again that the Church lets us completley free to choose the priest to confess to. We can make a bad choice, true, but we can also repair it.
Oh my gosh. I love this! Thank you so much for sharing this. You are exactly right about bad experiences at other places, I never thought about it like that, but you are correct! Why do we do that? Thank you so much and God bless you.
@@JuanRamirez-hg9hb Actually there’s not a single. act of contrition: the Church gives a great variety of prayers and at that time there wasn’t even a fixed one
@@JuanRamirez-hg9hbHe would only know it is taught it and if he hasn't been to confession since he made it at 12 it's easy to forget. Most confessionals have it printed off in Ireland.
I KNOW! It's HARD to find a good confessor, especially with gas prices being so high and not being able to drive too far to find that priest you can confess to. Now, for financial reasons, I go for the priest who is nearest. I make a list of my sins, knock that list out in the confessional and punch my grace ticket on the way out. I have learned to be pragmatic about confession. Job DONE!
First, I didn’t feel like I was going to comment. But I just have to. I teared up a few times because of this beautiful story. I can tell she LOVES JESUS so much with all her heart and soul! I feel like I needed this. I first gave me life over to Jesus at the age of 19 when I KNEW I never had him and I never knew him. I decided to declare at the age of 19 that he was my OWN Lord and Savior too! Then I wanted to live for Him. I am a current non-denominational Christian. I grew up southern baptist. And a lot of the Protestant moments she says I can relate to. Over my life I heard all the misconceptions about what people THINK the Catholic Church is (pagan, Satan / Mary worship etc). Through meeting many different amazing people including a local priest i found all my misconceptions shattered. I have visited mass so many times In the past few months seeking if it were true. Now I feel as if I am starting to see the actions and things happening at my current church are kinda outta whack. Simultaneously feeling as if Jesus is taking me by the hand and comforting me every time I’ve been to mass. I can’t help but now feel He wants be to become a Catholic Christian and be apart of the very first church. The main reason being the Eucharist. Second being the reverence that is often lacking in my non dom church. / parent’s baptist church. It’s just hard because I don’t know anyone there and never see anyone else there in their late 20s to be friends with me and be in fellowship with. Please pray for me and for the Lord to give me clarity! I know I feel called. I have since a few months now. I know that maybe I should also look at Keith’s book. To my dear Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ, (from your current Protestant brother) I love you!! ♥️🙏🏻 Anyone reading this... if you made it this far down, know that this has been hard. I know God has got me in his arms but it’s challenging especially with my whole family being Protestant and me the only one wanting to be Catholic in my family. Pray for me please! Love, your brother in Christ. ✝️♥️
I absolutely loved what you said. I am filled with emotion and am having trouble to find the right words to respond with. First, thank you so much for watching this video. It's humbling to me. I do know how hard it is and will be praying for you for sure. I truly think Keith's book will help you. I too love the reverence in the Catholic Church and of course the Eucharist. I hope that you can find a group of people to fellowship with. If it works with your schedule, please join in on Keith's online rosary at 5:00pm central everyday (Saturday's are flex days and might be at a different time). There's a great community there on the chat where you can type in your prayer requests. Lots of people have felt a connection that way and relationships have formed. It might help with support since you are kind of on our own with this right now. Anyway, thanks again for watching. I will be keeping you in my prayers. -Estelle (my YOU TUBE name is Matilda...it's a long story:)
Praying for you. I to returned to the church after being away most of life(forty years). I pray you find a group to fellowship with. Ii agree, t is difficult to find fellowship after mass. I actually love that I have no distractions when at mass! When I was at the the Protestant church I think I looked more forward to seeing friends than I was to meet and fellowship with Christ my Lord and savior. So, now I look forward no distractions at mass. 💕🙏🏻💕
Cameron. Love your story and the courage you have to follow God's call and become a Catholic. The courage you have now can only come from God. I shall certainly remember you in my daily prayers. Greetings and blessings from New Zealand.
@@estellenester5661 oh my goodness. I just about teared up! I didn’t realize this was Estelle til the end 😭 🙏🏻❤️ wonderful to “meet “ you!! I totally have been blessed by Keith’s channel! This all started by me meeting a girl I had a crush on who was Catholic. We still talk now time to time and she’s in Fresno. I started by just googling if Catholics were even Christians (bc the way she spoke sounded ‘Protestant’. In a way). Then she said she was Catholic. I was like “oh 😒” well why do you believe xyz and she went on about her relationship with Christ. (Which I never thought they had haha). Then after getting close to her and spending time with Fr. Jonathan at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, AL It’s like my eyes were opened! And then instead of me just thinking I would be like cool, they are my brothers and sisters in Christ, it went to now me feeling called to be Catholic myself! 🙏🏻 again thanks so much! Beautiful testimony! -Cameron.
God bless you Estelle. May you know many graces in your life with the Lord. It’s a challenge being the wife of a rock star but you have a beautiful way of living it out. God is working through you to draw others to Christ.
I cried through this entire video. So many overlapping details to my own story. I was born and raised a Christmas and Easter Catholic who also swore off confession and later on Catholicism. I moved away at 18 and met a handsome Protestant boy who brought me to his church. I loved the music and all the friends we made. We have attended that church for 8 years and found it beautiful. However, recently, like your husband, after a few years of wrestling with God, I told my husband that I feel like God is calling me back to the Catholic Church. It hasn’t been easy to feel like I am between two worlds but it’s an exciting adventure to be pursuing the Lord together in learning and in my case relearning about Catholicism. It’s not the dry religion of my childhood. My eyes are now open to the beauty and symbolism and intentionality of every single aspect of the faith and the mass. Thank you for this.
Maybe the Nesters should do an episode on Rosary Crew members who experienced conversion through Medjugorje or it was part of their story? I was an atheist who was baptised and came into the Church in Medjugorje on the Feast of St. James. I wonder if Jesus isn't trying to communicate something to all of us by gathering here? Maybe we need to hear each others testimonies to understand how the Holy Spirit is moving?
Glad God used that place to bring about your conversion... Međugorje sadly isn't a true apparition site, but wherever there are those praying the Rosary a lot, conversions happen.
@@michelleishappy4036 no final decision has been made by the Church about Medjugorje and the last visitor sent by the Vatican to investigate was very impressed by the depth of the spiritual life there.
Beautiful Eva. Please look up St Pio,and the guardian angel’s. Also the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins! God bless you Eva. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!! Ps also Eucharist miracle of Lanciano.
The Light of Jesus shines from you Estelle, as Mother, wife, grandma, please pray for me and my family to be United in The Holy Catholic Church. Thank you dear.
From the Philippines: How i wish millions upon millions of those who are in constant quest of direction in life could hear and savor your truthful life testimony so that they would be inspired as well to stay the course and be catholic through and through. Thanks for this wonderful sharing and eye-opening story. God bless you more for being so sincere and such a great speaker.
How beautiful Estelle!! I am almost 55, a cradle catholic, and also went to catholic schools but sadly I really didn’t learn/understand it. I was just walking the walk and doing what I knew I was supposed to do. It wasn’t until about 10 years ago that I found myself trying to defend my catholic faith (against a protestant) and I realized I had no idea why we do the things we do and believe the things we do. I started researching Christianity in general because I didn’t know why the others didn’t believe what we did so I wanted to go into it with an open mind. It was on this journey that I prayed a lot to be guided in the truth. After much researching I decided that Catholicism was the right path but gosh how I had a lot to learn. Well at some point I stumbled across Keith’s channel very early on. He was such a blessing in my life! It was through him that I learned so much about Catholicism! And now I have been able to hear your story and my emotions were so overwhelming! What a blessing you both are!! Thank you so much! Love and God bless you both!!
Oh my goodness. Your story just blessed and humbled me so much. I am so glad that you were searching and that you were guided to the truth about our faith. I love that Keith's ministry was a part of that. May God continue to bless you:) -Estelle
Im sorry to hear that your a Catholic I was a Catholic for awhile but realized it is wrong ive heard thoundsands of converts tell there story how they became Catholic Scott Hahn stoty is interesting so was Steve Ray who was a babtist who became Catholic who hated Catholics before he conveted there stories are so funny. I also studed the history of the Church the early church fathers and they were all two sided. I also whent to the RCIA classes and heard everything the church teaches about the faith so from my Understanding that the church is wrong any faith that goes against the faith in the bible is wrong
Funny how I was questioning so many things about becoming Catholic from a Protestant background and asking God just last night to show me some answers. This video popped up on my page and it was ONLY posted 20 hours ago. Thank you Keith 🙏🏻♥️😭
Thank you! You are blessed to have a man who craves loves and respects God! My adult children are pulled in by the world. Please pray for them to seek God first. Thank you. ☺️
Fabulous job, Estelle, full of humor and humility and as we Benedictines say lots of listening with the ear of your heart. God bless your you and your family.
So many things I love about this testimony, but what really resonated with me was its' familiarity. Also a cradle Catholic, I grew up not knowing Christ as a loving Savior and friend, but some invisible entity that was out there somewhere and had no impact on our daily lives. I wasn't afraid of His judgement or knew of His endless mercy because I simply did not know him. I had no clue what the Catholic Church was about, as a kid it just seemed like a painfully boring Sunday morning obligation. My sister and I spent most of that time, making faces at each other, whispering and giggling until our parents would 'Shoosh" us or shoot us a menacing look. The best part about Church was the occasional ice-cream treat afterwards if we behaved. Fast-forward 40+ years and I started exploring other churches, but felt the pull to come back 'home'; and that's when the veil was lifted for me. I submerged myself into my faith, learned about the Mass, the Eucharist, the Sacraments, the Saints, the Rosary, the many devotions etc that was 10 years ago and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. I would often call my mom and say 'how come you never told us about .....(fill in the blank). I felt cheated out of a beautiful faith. Of no fault of her own, she simply mirrored what she herself was taught by very strict nuns, so at 80 yrs old, I'm actually helping her rediscover a faith to fall in love with. She says I'm on fire, but I think we all would be if we truly knew the many riches of our faith. God bless you, Keith and your family, all saints in the making! And don't worry about your kids not following the Catholic church,( yet), remember the thief on the Cross beside Jesus, he was not a follower, but he repented and believed and was saved. Your family has a strong foundation, they believe in Jesus as our Savior, they have been saved, they're going to be just fine! I too have a daughter, (Catholic), but has stopped practicing over the past few years, but I only have to look to St. Monica for insipiration......our prayers will be heard, of that I have no doubt! Our God is a very great God!
I seriously don't know how to respond to this comment (and the one above it). I'm overwhelmed with emotions as I'm reading it. I am truly humbled by your words and thankful for everything you shared. Thank you for the encouragement about my kids. I look to St. Monica for inspiration too. I am so happy that you came back to the faith 10 years ago. I love that you are helping your mom rediscover the beauty of this faith. I'm sure I will still just be scratching the surface at 10 years as well. There's so much to learn. Thank you so much for watching this video. God is so good, may he continue to bless you and your family! -Estelle (my You Tube name is Matilda...another long story:)
You captured me with your first few words. I know this is two years old but I just listened the other day to Keith’s talk on Matt Fradd’s channel and heard him tell your story. I’m a cradle Catholic but listening to conversation/reversion talks I feel takes me deeper into my faith! Peace be with you, Estelle!!
Estelle, Thank you for your truthful, practical story of needing God to act in your life. How he allowed you to experience his guidance in confession is moving.
Loved your testimony. I too was a revert to the Catholic Church when I was 40. As a young person I just fell away from the Church also due to lack of understanding of the faith and laziness. I visited many different Protestant denominations but resisted joining them. I always believed in God. On a whim I signed up for RCIA for the sacrament of confirmation. I was never confirmed as my parents had too drifted away from the Church. I started reading Scott Hahn and other ex-Protestants who converted to Catholicism. People like you and your husband are helping the cradle Catholics to learn our great and amazing faith...if I knew then what I know now...peace be with you!
Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for this message. I feel like many Catholics who leave the church for protestant churches leave for that very same reason and it's so sad to me now. I am so glad you signed up for RCIA. It's so great to learn about our faith. I am humbled that Keith and I are helping people learn about it. I'll be praying for you. - Estelle
I was reactivated at Cursillo and then had a series of Holy Spirit moments that keep nudging me that I am in the right direction. And it's always deeper into the church.
Thank you Estelle! You gave me hope that some of my family members who left the Catholic church & the faith will one day also be given grace to come back to the faith.
God's love for us is overwhelming. "I've been waiting for you," slayed me to the heart. Brought back my own reversion moments where He exposed me to His personal, devastating Love. Who am I that God should take such an interest in me and set up a series of complex events (which involve my silly choices) to lead me to a meeting place with Him, my Father? There are no words, only joyful, amazed, humble tears. Thank you for your testimony, Estelle. You will have more than 250K views and be the cause and catalyst of many conversions/reversions. May God bless you, and Mary keep you under her mantle.
Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for this incredible message. I'm truly humbled that someone would think that. God bless you and thank you for watching.
Gracious me! What a wonderful talk. I fell in love with Keith over a year ago. I live in the UK, and take part in the Rosary with The Rosary Crew whenever I can (it is 11.00pm here in England when it starts!). I have sometimes seen you take part, and always think how great that you support your husband, and also how great that you converted back to Catholicism. Obviously, we know Keith’s story, and what a story it is. He has so much to teach us cradle catholics, and I love listening to him. His energy, passion and his friendliness is so compelling! Then you come along, and hit us with your awesome story, and really made me emotional listening to you. Clearly, you are the wind beneath Keith’s wings (listen to the great Bette Middler song!!) I loved the ‘Confession’ bit of the story in Medjugorje. It’s so important for us to listen to our Lord, and trust in him. Everything will fall in to place if we keep praying. Estelle, thank you for sharing your story with us, it is truly inspiring. God bless you and Keith and your 3 children. Keep up the great work!!
You are making me cry with this kind message. Thank you so much for taking part in the Rosary Crew when you can. I just love that! And thank you for listening to my story as well. I am truly humbled by your words. - Estelle
I am just blown away by Estelle's amazing talk!!! This is one of the most wonderful testimonies I have ever heard. It was so powerful because the Rosary Crew has made us feel like family, so this is a powerful family story.
I love your conversion story Estelle.,I have heard of Keith's but your story touches me more deeply maybe because i am a woman too. I love your submissives to your husband I admire it about you now. I also admire your silence while going through all the difficulty and changes in your family life on the process of Kieth and yours transition from being Protestants to Catholicism..My wish is for all your children to one day finally come home to Catholicism. Thanks for sharing your story.
Thank you Estelle! I am so inspired by you and Keith’s story! I just stood as godfather for my granddaughter in baptism after being away from the Church for quite a few years. It’s so special that I came back to full communion with my Catholic faith!
I got goosebumps throughout this video! I congratulate you guys! I too was on and off about my catholicism, coming from a country where communism was strong for 50 years, I'm glad my family never completely gave up our faith even though they were never strong believers. Now I get to teach my kids all about our beautiful faith. God's blessings to you all!
Wow. That was so beautiful. I cried that part she took a video and when you showed her the title of the book God told you to write. Welcome home Keith. Where you are is where you really belong.

What I found especially beautiful is that your husband (taking the lead as spiritual father/priest) went ahead and trusted God blindly and did what he felt God was calling him to do, then you also following your role, went ahead and trusted God blindly by following your husband. I pray and ask God for a conversation of all my loved ones and the whole world for our salvation. I start with my husband, children, siblings nieces and nephews and the rest of the world. Estalle, your conversation story is one of triumph. It took a lot of valor and love to leave the comforts of your life and follow God at your husbands side. I loved your story of victory and pray for the conversion of your children!
This is a really touching story. I was a Pentecostal many years ago, and after that I have lived free from the conscience of sin and religion, but I found a woman through incredible coincidences, and we are getting married. She is Catholic, and I am also being converted to the same faith so we can get married in the church. I have watched many videos lately about the Catholic faith and heard many incredible stories. If I must be a Christian, this is the faith I want to follow. Thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you so much and God bless you.
yes Father but u should also know the act of contrition as a Catholic who should be going to confession regularly correct?
Anyone reading this... if you made it this far down, know that this has been hard.
Praying for you!🙏🏻Look to see if any of your local Catholic Church’s have young adult groups.
Wow. Our stories are very similar. I will pray for you and your journey. Thank you so much for watching and may God bless you.

Thanks for this wonderful sharing and eye-opening story. God bless you more for being so sincere and such a great speaker.
WOW! Thank you so much for this encouraging message. God bless you.

In anticipation for our sister, who is a beautiful Catholic woman of God ✝️❤️✨
Thank you again.

@@estellenester5661 It is my pleasure.
The masses. Rosaries. And confessions in Yugoslavia bring forth good fruit despite the antics that the enemy did there in the first place. Great testimony. Very heartwarming.
Thank you so much for watching. May God bless you.
Estelle - wow, what a beautiful testimony! Your story moved me to tears, a few times. God is moving through you to reach millions by your powerful testimony. May God bless you, Your husband. and your family always. You should speak your testimony anywhere and everywhere you can because it is very moving 🙏🏼

@@estellenester5661 that was a very beautiful and powerful testimony Estelle. Thank you for being open and vulnerable to the Lord ❤🙏
My dear brothers and sisters,
Without taking holy baptism, nobody can be belongs to Lord Jesus Christ (Kingdom of Heaven) Read Catholic Holy Bible (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2: 38, Mark 16: 16 & more proof). Infant baptism have nothing to do with Lord Jesus Christ's teachings. Infant baptism only for church membership.🤔🤔
I was asking for this a long time ago lol can't wait for it!
Awesome. Thank you. -Estelle
Estelle, your talk is so inspirational! Thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony. I am blessed by your faithfulness ✝️🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your kind words, Katherine.
I love your story ♥️ - brought me to tears. My adult children are Protestant as well and I pray they will come into church.
Thank you so much for watching. I will pray for your kids as well.
-Estelle
Doesn't matter weather we r catholic or Protestant, our focus must be on jesus..jesus wil welcome only the born again people..he wil not see if we r Catholic or Protestant
@@nirmalakumari4826 yes it does matter and I will pray for everyone to become Catholic - the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. The one that began in 33 AD. 😊🙏
That was stunning Estelle🙏 thank you ❤️

You guys are truly amazing and doing God’s work! What a wonderful job sharing your faith path Estelle, may God bless you two and your family.
Thank you so much, Gayla. -Estelle
After watching this I couldn't help but break into tears, I been a lifelong Catholic, however i didn't really appreciate nor practiced my faith the way it should been. somehow got lost into the spirit of the world. Now I'm trying to head back home, just like the son that wasted his father's inheritance, not worthy to be called his son. I ask ya'll brothers and sisters to keep me in your prayers. God bless your heart and Welcome home!! 🎉🎉🎉
How God has planned every single detail perfectly so. Looking forward to what God is going to do in your family in the future!
Thank you so much. I love your You Tube name, btw:) - Estelle
What a beautiful story of faith and love. Welcome back🙏🏻
Thank you so much. -Estelle
A beautiful, articulate, heartfelt talk. Thank you so much for being a beautiful witness as wife who supports her husband. I pray with the Rosary Crew when time allows. God bless you, your ministry, and your family ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thank you for so much for watching and for your kind words. Thank you for being a part of the Rosary Crew. I felt the prayers and support of the "crew" while I was giving my talk:)

I cried too. I was a convert at age 18. I was a practicing Catholic for 10 years when my Catholic husband left me. He eventually had our marriage annulled and I married a protestant. The Holy Spirit called me back to the Catholic church and my biggest hang up is confession but I am going to go.
I love this. Thank you for watching and God bless you.
I went to confession. Father was so gentle with me. He reminded me of God's mercy. I have had a big burden lifted! Praise God.
@@barbarawilliams979 so beautiful!

Thank you so much for watching. -Estelle
Thank you for sharing your beautiful “reversion” story, Estelle! So encouraging to see how God spoke to you alongside your husband (whose ministry was a huge influence in my own conversion from Protestantism to Catholicism, and I’m forever grateful for that!!). It was great to get to know you a bit through your side of the story, and I hope to meet and pray with both you and Keith in person someday! 🙏😄💕
Thank you so much Christine. I'm excited that Keith was able to help you with your journey. I was so nervous to share, but felt the prayers and support of others for sure. I'd love to meet and pray with you one day too. God bless you. -Estelle

Wow. Thank you for sharing Estelle. What an amazing, moving story.
Thank you so much, Stella. -Estelle
This testimony is absolutely beautiful !
Thank you for sharing! ❤
I have listened to Keith's conversion story so many times and now to yours, Estelle and was so moved by it and can't help but cry. I love listening to conversion stories in EWTN's "Journey Home" program and hope to watch and listen to your story there one day. All my four children also graduated from a Catholic school here in the Philippines and I can relate to your experience coz for them "Christian Living Education" was just another subject to pass and not a learning for their Catholic faith. Please pray for us Estelle, for the Philippines where the pandemic is still worst and please pray for my daughter, her name is Diana, a very good person but a lesbian who is living in with a partner right now. Thank you so much for touching many hearts and changing lives. God bless yours and Keith's ministry, be praying for it.
Thank you so much for this message, Juvy. I am so glad you enjoyed the talk. It would be wild to be on "Journey Home" one day. I'd be so nervous about that. I will continue to pray for the Philippines and will add your daughter, Diana, to my prayer list. Thank you so much for your kind words. May God bless you and your family.
Amazing grace!
Thank you for watching. - Estelle
