I know Father Peter because he's the pastor at my church. And I can say that because he has lived as most of us do, married with children and being in the workforce, etc, his experience had allowed him to be a better, more understanding priest. He really knows his stuff, and we are blessed to have him at our church.

I also met a dominican nun that was a successful pharmacist in a rich family that left everyone to be a dominican, she was also such an inspiration of being detached from the world for Jesus.
My friend's sister in law was an army captain when she was called to be a Dominican nun. Her big sister asks her husband "why can't you be more like my sister Emily's Husband?"
This multi millionaire priest is very much accomplished .in wealth and possessions however he choose his life to follow Christ and left his wealth and he was right because life on earth is just temporary, The priest is now opted to be a forever citizen of heaven, thank you for. Sharing this touching story .God Bless you and your church Fr.
Very Inspiring. I met also a very humble Franciscan Priest. He came from a Chinese tycoon family. He was a successful chemical engineer , businessman, and had been helping his dad in their business. His friend also a priest shared to us that his company before was worth Million Dollars and he was supposed to inherit also the billion company of his father. Anyways, God called him for priesthood and left his inheritance. At first his friends and family called him crazy but now he is happy and a source of inspiration.
Jesus himself said that these things will be with us until the end of time, as the rule always be injustices on Earth thanks to humans and free will. It's not just Mary, but it's Jesus. Who works many miracles, who does help the innocent, free the imprisonment, spiritually speaking, and many more things. There are countless miracles and answered prayers in the name of God.
This reminds me of my own story. I was a business person too who headed multiple businesses, until 2021. Won awards for my leadership and business skills. But, in spite of all that, there was an emptiness inside of me. Until a vision from the Lord changed my life. I was called to serve Him. I am now a Pastor in the Lutheran Church. I have started my ministry. The emptiness is there no more. My heart is filled with the Lord now.
So God called you into a heretical man-made sect to be a pastor, even though females can't be pastors and Luthernaism is not the Church founded? I'm sorry, but God definitely didn't call you into that.
Once your calling comes, the Lord changes you to suit your calling. You don’t feel bad or like you have lost something when you change and sell your Mercedes and settle for a budget car. When that happened to me, it didn’t even matter to me. All that I felt was a huge gain. I had the Lord and His love with me. No greater blessing than that.
Thank you for your story father, God Bless you always. My husband converted me to the Catholic faith, he is a vice Senior Director of the bank. I am more active to the Catholic than him, he comes with me to church almost every Sunday, and I have to pray a full 4mysteries for him almost everyday. I felt like the more I am closer to God the higher his career grow, there are so many temptation is pulling him away from my family sometimes. If I didn’t pray, go to mass, confession, fast and to do all these other Catholic traditions/gifts consistently, my marriage will turn in a different way. I am so thankful to the Catholic, Jesus my Savior, Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, the Holy Spirit, Micheal the Archangel, my guardian Angel, all the saints. I am so thankful to God with the life that I have, my family, and a difficult road that I went through, to bring me even more closer to him.
What impress me is the faith and humility of this man. He knows that he is blessed and he has the faith and humility to stay the course. It is easy to say, but to live an upright Catholic life is not simple. You still have to make choices. Fr. Peter seems to have make the right choices all the time. That is his blessing. If you are super successful you can think that you are God and do not need any “crutch” . You can became arrogant and look down on others, you can think that everything is your doing, but He knew better. Some times I know better and I make the wrong choice. I choose sin. What I think at this time is that faith and humility are or should be inseparable, but impress me more at this time is humility. Our Lord and Master said: “you are the light of the world, you put the light high so it can give light to others, you do not hide the light under the chair” . Is Fr. Peter an embodiment of the “beatitudes “ ?

I’m lucky to be part of Father Peter’s flock at St. James. One thing this interview didn’t touch on was the innovative way Fr. Peter kept the parish together during the pandemic. In the first days, I found TH-cam videos of daily mass being said in our little chapel by Fr. Peter. That was a great comfort when I felt adrift in a scary world. Soon after, he came up with the idea to use the flat roof on the back of the church to say mass. In true baby boomer fashion, he got the idea from the Beatles Abbey Road rooftop concert. The parishioners sat in our cars, listening to the audio on our car radios. Father Peter and our deacon Joe Koletar would take the scissor lift down and distribute communion. It was a truly unique spiritual experience and they did this in freezing weather, sweltering heat and a whole lot of sunshine. This would be a good topic for another interview. It was so moving. I’ll never forget those days. At the end of mass, Father Peter would stand in the street and direct traffic, waving to each car as we pulled out of the parking lot.

That's only partially true since they are a schismatic church. Jesus started the Catholic Church. The Orthodox broke away from the Catholic Church and the authority of the Pope in the 11th century. Read the earliest Christians. They were _all_ Catholic, not Orthodox. Not in a generic sense only but in a specifically Catholic sense. The Orthodox came returned to the Catholic Church twice in history and submitted to the pope again only to break away again later. It never happened the other way showing they were the ones who broke away in the first place. Not to mention the Council of Florence when everyone came back, and then left again a decade later. Plus, there's no one "Orthodox church." They are nationalized churchrd that fight with each other and excommunicate each other and are going into schism with each other. Lets not even mention the fact that the Eastern Churches agreed with the Pope and then changed their teachings many centuries later. The orthodox can't even agree on major heresies and doctrines and are still debating them, which stem back to the 5th century. - Orthodox can't agree on the Filioque - They also have major disagreement on the role of the first among equals. There's a schism going on right now in the orthodox churches, between three major sees, just on that doctrine alone. - Rebaptism controversy going on. Many big Orthodox have called this scandolous. - They had took 100 years to call a sinod and a council. And it was an abomination and did absolutely nothing. Honestly, it's a joke. - They debate about contraception which was a settled matter for 1900 years. Until the protestants broke from it. And now many orthodox also break from it. And it's a big disagreement within their churches. These are major doctrines and Their church is torn in half right now with no way to fix it.
Wonderful story. You have given everything up for the love of God
..God bless. P.N.G

Fr.Peter is a priest at St. James Church in Stratford, CT. He is actually the pastor at that church. He is very on point with his sermons. We love him. ❤ Ana M. Jusino
I, Bryan, go to that church sometimes, too. :)
Saya orang Katolik dari Indonesa. Di Indonesia juga ada, 2 Pria Muda anak Orang Kaya. Dua-duanya menjadi Pastor Katolik. Meskipun Hidup menjadi Minoritas tetapi memiliki Iman yang kuat ❤❤❤

Teaching the right faith and the right way to heaven the Eastern Orthodox Church ☦️
- Orthodox can't agree on the Filioque
- They also have major disagreement on the role of the first among equals.
