  • Starting up the old Oldsmobile and going for a drive. Originally was going for donuts but my camera messed up. So I switched cameras and went out for another spin in the Delta.

@@MangieRaccoonsGaragetalking to a guy that has one I may trade my bike for it still runs and drives I am just doing some research on it I wasn't even sure what type of engine it had or anything lol

Awesome! If you end up getting it, would love to hear more about it. The most common engine was the 307 v8 and that is what is in mine. If you get one with the optional overdrive transmission and in good mechanical shape shouod get decent mileage too for an oldie. I usually get around 22-24 mpg. Wish my Chrysler New Yorker would do that good lol

Nice! I have had 2 different 1965 New Yorkers with, I believe the 383. The 1966 is my first 440 and I love it! It's a nice upgrade. For the longest time now I've wanted a New Yorker 74-78. I think they look amazing inside and out.

Bought an 81 88 Royale 4dr10 days ago. One family car since new with 34000 original non bull shit miles. I had an 85 Delta 88 2dr Brougham from 92 to 96 ish. Didn’t like that car then but I love it now

The view from the back seat was nice. Just wish we all could of rode back there and enjoyed the comfortable Brougham seats.

This '84 was equipped similar to our '82. An odd combination of Royale Brougham trim, power locks, and crank windows. Ours had the sport mirrors.

This new generation will never know the struggle of having to set the (auto) choke before starting a car and having to let it warm up. Don't pump it too much or you'll flood the carburetor!

I’ll never forget the time I went to go test drive a car and the sales guy was telling me you don’t have to set a choke or pump it lol

And also kicking down the fast idle after a bit in cold weather. I thought fuel injection on the Ford 302 around 1986 was like sliced bread.
