    The best aviation content on TH-cam. Shocked at the low number of subscribers.

      Just doesn’t hit the TH-cam algorithm right to get recommended… I put stuff out too infrequently. These take time to make, which is why they turn out pretty good.. but also why I can only put up a few every 5-6 months. A catch 22!

    Great video. The LAN 767 in its passenger configuration was beautiful, the economy class seats were comfortable especially on long flights between Miami and South America. The first class cabin, whatever is left of it had a beautiful glossy wood trim and spacious seats. I miss flying on LAN. That jazz music,oooooh!

    Embraer seem to have a lot of air con break downs and weird temperature issue, faulty bearings causing smoke smell and therefore emergency landings. Ask me how I know... Saying that they are a comfortable aircraft with nice seat and decent leg room, and a quiet cabin.

    Another great episode, and hope you were blessed with only good luck after all those delays. Can we hear a story about the E190 and all those errors? 2 qns:
    1. What determines your first speed call-out on takeoff roll? e.g. 80kts before V1 & Vr? What makes some other pilots do call-outs at say 100kts?
    2. I saw that plane overtaking(?) you above, an hour out of Auckland - do you have free reign to fly the plane at max. speed if arrival windows/en-route waypoint timing windows permit?

    • @CockpitCasual
      @CockpitCasual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1) Boeings inhibit nuisance master cautions above 80KT, Airbus above 100.
      2) yeah - no speed limit unless in one of the track systems. Even then, you can file for whatever, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get it. There’s a sweet spot though. Going fast burns a LOT more gas…
