Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on "Batman Begins" and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." He sees his character in front of him, and joins the character in its life. Method actors see their characters, but don't join the character, they make the character join them. Bale does not do the latter. Sorry.

TDK trilogy, all three of them are my favorite movies of all time and I cannot imagine anyone but Christian Bale playing Batman. I mean, to me, he IS Bruce Wayne and every time I see him in other movies or interviews like this, it's so strange to me.
People who still hate on Bale coz of 1 on set rant are absolute idiots. This was 1 event, the guy interrupted him and when you acting 24/7, playing with emotions, day&night, important scene, this shit happens on sets all the time. Brilliant actor and actually great guy. Family man, with the same woman over 17 yrs& its not that normal for big star. You can tell he is very private, doesn't like celebrity-type of life, just true artist. I'm a huge fan of Christian Bale and Batman. I still remember when i heard he was choosed to play Batman. I was freaking happy. I knew he would have never failed. He is just amazing. Such an incredible actor.

Punchy Blaziken Welsh is British. And he does not have a welsh accent. He has a very strong south english accent, he moved out of Wales very young and even in Wales was on the far east bordering England.
Bale is a method actor. He'll keep the accent of any film he's working on. Whenever he's interviewed at a point where he's working on no films then he will revert back to his normal accent.

Christian Bale was born in Wales, but spent his childhood in England, Portugal and America. So obviously he is not going to have a welsh accent. Also he isn't going to have a strong English accent either. So his accent is just a mix. Probably doing loads of movies with American accents would also have an effect. Yaw bitches.
He actually does have a strong English accent, when promoting the Dark Knight movies, he kept an American accent. Although it isn't as strong as his on camera accent. Also watch his other "regular" interviews to compare accent. Ya bish.
Fun Fact: On the set of Terminator Salvation Christian Bale threatened to beat up the lighting guy.
He sounds typically East London cockney sometimes, in one interview he pronounces bloody hell as "bloody 'ell". Others, like the on set Terminator rant, there's an American drawl seeping through. I think he's lived in so many places, Bale's not sure what dialect is his anymore. A bit like Charlie Hunnam.

Christian Bale is one of the best and most versatile actors in the world. He can literally go into any shape he wants and can play any type of character. He has made arguably one of the best movies of all time. I've watched the dark knight trilogy loads of times and still can't get over it. He is the best superhero. Big up Christian.

Berkay Shady Bale has high hopes for Affleck and so do I. It's a completely different Batman so it only makes sense to have a different actor. Bale had his spotlight and chooses to step down from Batman.

He's not from Wales. He was just born there. His accent varies according to what he speaks in character. He gets very into his character, so since they just finished filming TDKR he's still got some of his American accent.
