No, one thing that looks really cheap is the fake vent looking thing in the center of the dash. Also the shift handle on the steering column just spells out its an old person's vehicle.
Ordered my GLE450 in March of 21 and took delivery in December of 21. It’s a model year 22 and I have 11k on the car. Its been a joy to drive. Hope you enjoy!
I hate to say this because I'm a American. But my company transports Mercedes from this plant and the imported cars that come into the Brunswick plant. you can easily tell the difference. The attention to detail isn't the same. take 8 cars from each place and the imported car will most likely be perfect ( after being shipped from Germany). The other 8 in the factory lot will on average have 3 cars with a scratch in the paint or something defective inside. to be fair it might be the same at the Germany plants but I seriously doubt it. If it was like that in Germany some of them would make it over to the US.
The American plant produces JUNK and is the reason Mercedes is now considered the least reliable German luxury vehicle. Well behind BMW (can’t believe it) and Audi. Awful awful vehicles
Nope! It’s much worse. You can verify this with owners of the GLE53 AMG models they’ve been in the shop for ages fixing transmission issues. Not worth it imo lots of people got burned
Greeting from Italy. Just ordered a GLE 400d 4MATIC Premium Plus, emerald metallic… already in Germany, for quality control. Should get it before Christmas
Probably, but the dealership will mark up the car at least 75% I'm sure so any savings is cancelled out. (I'm assuming, since most dealerships here in the USA are super greedy)
I tested the car over the weekend. It has a lot of power and presence but the quality of assembly and materials inside the car is disappointing and there is a lot of road and wind noise. So I checked and found that there is talk about it on TH-cam. It turns out that this vehicle is manufactured in America (Alabama) and intended for the American market. All the comments in the video are from those who purchased the vehicle and complain about poor plastic and rattling noises. There is a significant difference in the assembly quality of a Mercedes that is made in Germany or America or Hungary.
We ordered it in august 2020 and we got it in July 2021 to give you a ballpark figure ( and one of our fiends has waited 2 yers for his GLE) and in both cases it wasn’t a hybrid one 😀
Hey there MB engineers, why do your cars rattle so Much. From the door to the suntans the dashboard. My GLE is screaming every time it drive out. What have you guys done on it
imagine,,, Spending 8 or 10 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week looking at the same few feet of car as it passes by endlessly.,,, I would bet money the local bars are packed after work 😂,,,
This has been the most unreliable model of Mercedes Benz ever made and it’s because of these manufactured in America vehicles. They’re junk especially with the terrible transmission issues of the 2020-2022 models. Nothing but problems with these vehicles now. Especially the GLE53 AMG is terrible
Eres el mejor fabricador del mundo 😊
I ordered my 450 today 🥳🥳🥳

I ordered a 450 GLE in March 2022. Still waiting for delivery as of 10/23/2022.

I ordered mine and specifically made sure it was being built in Germany, the quality control is much more strict in the Germany plants.

@@ML-jk3sz how can you ensure the car is built in Germany? How did you ask for that with your sales guy?
@@boukm3n Only certain models of Mercedes are made in the US, the model I had built (GLC300 Coupe) is only made in Germany.
Is the build quality of those made in the US, comparable to that made in Germany?

@@boukm3n Engines and transmissions are not built in the US. So you can blame that on the Mercedes factories in Germany (most likely).

It’s not made in Germany? Jamal and Latrell are putting my Mercedes together?
American made! I own one, and the quality is impeccable.
You gotta be kidding me. How long have you owned it?
@@NaveenKumar-oj7xh I own my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 4 years and it's impeccable and made in America but it's about base on the Old Mercedes E class.
