I love that there is no music or commentary. You can just sit back and admire the engineering and skill in every stage of the process. It's almost therapeutic.
The timing and precision of this assembly line is absolutely amazing. The folks who planned it down to the last detail are absolute geniuses and the people who do the hand assembly are craftsmen/craftswomen of the highest caliber. I own an S550 and appreciate every luxurious detail of this fantastic car!
DO NOT BUY MERCEDES S SERIES. MY CAR BROKE I SWITCHED TO AUDI.

My favorite is S63. The most iconic design I ever seen in the Mercedes family.
The factory robots are incredible! The genius that it took to design, build, and program them is not done justice.
They are not so complicated as it seems. Those robots are not programmed to install any part, they are programmed to make specific moves (much easier).
Just bunch of programmed steps by factory stuff. 8 cm to the right, 4 mm forward, 2 cm to the right...
@@AdrianoCROST making a complex thing super simple definitely needs credits. Robo doesn't work by itself. There is a master mind behind it.

Exactly, it makes the finished car look like outdated tech. The REAL tech is in those robotics...just simply amazing engineering!

Watching these videos reminds me why most modern cars are difficult to work on. Everything is assembled outside of the vehicle, then shoved into place making repairs a challenge to get to the broken part.

I drove my brothers S Class, it’s like no other car. Solid, super quiet and very fast. The doors are like a door on a bank vault.
The lines seem to move slower on these high end Mercedes with older and more seasoned assemblers. Good video.
Just look at their workforce and you will see why production is slower .
@@marcodante1463 Yes I would rather have these guys than some pimple-faced kid. The workers are working at a relaxed pace so less mistakes less stress happy experienced mature workers. Germans are smart enough to see the benefits of this kind of work culture.

Just an amazing process. The S-Class is a precise machine in and of itself, but the machines that put in the dash and the other machines are a marvel in engineering as well. This is really something amazing!

Serious Question- As the logo is placed manually by Hand without any guidelines... wont every car has Logo at slightly different place (Very Minor Deviations in Cms) + Wont every car logo is pointed at slightly minor different direction?? Talking about the point of the Logo.... 🤔

R BEAUMONTII S-class is amazing both S and Maybach but I just didn't want to state the obvious lol The CL's are great too. I don't prefer the C-class tho too ordinary

Precision. The engineering of all the parts, maintaining inventory, making sure the assembly line itself runs correctly, and the concentration of the workers. My mind almost exploded thinking about all of it. How do they recoup all the costs to make the factory, build all the thousands of parts, pay the engineers, assemblers, managers and all the other employees and still make a profit??!! It’s almost like voodoo:)
