- This is the latest update of my garage gym. This is more focused on upper body equipment as I hit legs with a leg press in my basement, RDLS, leg extension and curls. And a variety of non barbell squats.

There is absolutely no barbell movement that hits my chest or back or arms or shoulders better than any of my machines in regards to the strength curve the stability the stretch and the variety of handle grip options as well as the safety
For squatting, I still would not use a standard barbell. I would still be using a specialty bar, but getting rid of the squat rack was the best thing I could’ve done.
