Great work my man, I really appreciate what you're doing for the budget gaming community. Big ups to you and keep going strong! I just ordered a combo x99 mobo and 2650v4 cpu for my girlfriend, going to pair it with 32gb ddr4 and a rx 580 8gb as well. Looking forward to build it. My last pc build was also a xeon build which I sold recently. Greetings from Croatia!
First of all thank you for this build. I have built it myself and it is amazing, it was a struggle, but I did it. I have a question about the ram. So, I have 32gb of ram and currently it's running at 2133mhz. The one that I bought says it's supposed to run at 3200mhz, where in the bios could I change it to reach 3200mhz? Thank you for your help in advance!
Glad your build worked out well! 💯💯💯Unfortunately with these xeons platforms, 2133mhz is the max speed. You wont be able to change it, it sucks but if you ever change to a newer mobo platform you will be able to run at 3200mhz (depends on mobo)
That’s a fan hub. It comes with the case. You connect the cable to a sata power cable and at the bottom of your mobo. You control the rgb by pressing a button at the top of the case. Very simple.
I have been wanting to build xeon pc as my budget is pretty tight ... And your video really inspired me and give me the ideas ! I will be buying x99 from ZSUS brand .. Is there any other important tips you can give for building xeon pc
Hi, sorry for the late response. But I would recommend these tips 1. Buy a lithium coin to put on the mobo. Ali express mobos dont come with the cmos battery so you would have to purchase one yourself. 2. When buying from ali express make sure to use their coupons to save money. 3. Match the ram sticks to the colored slots on the mobo ex: Slot 1 and Slot 4 But yea those are pretty much the big 3 tips! Stay Safe 💯💪

For the cpu I’m not to sure since the readings are incorrect. These ali express mobos aren’t the best when it comes to power draw readings but for the gpu the max power draw is around 175W for this card. So I would say the max power draw from this build when gaming on high settings would be around 300 Watts or less. Plenty of room for upgrades since it’s a 600 watts psu.
Where did you plug in the 5v argb from the fan hub? There’s no connector on the motherboard? Is the sata all you need for the case to communicate and light up the fans?
@@LoganBrake you connect the 5V cable to a fan hub/rgb hub. This case came with one so I was able to connect it to the back of the case and into the fan hub, I show it during the montage section of this video. The fan hub connect with sata psu connector and it has a led cable that connects to the reset switch pins at the bottom of the motherboard (front panel connector) so u can cycle the rgb using the reset switch at the top of the case. Only bad thing is you don’t have a reset button anymore since the led connector is taking the place of the reset switch.
The ram doesn't have rgb nor argb, its the reflection of the rgb colors from the fans. The ram has a glossy white finish so it reflects light. I never noticed it but yea it does look like it has RGB LoooooL. Not bad for the price.
Try to unlock the cpu on x99 motherboard, and undervolt them also. Gets some serious performance. I'm getting an 2666v3 with the rx 580/590. Can reach like 200 to under 260 in Valorant pretty consistent
Why do you use different specific processors? From what I understand, the best chip on that socket for gaming(that's less than $20) is the 1660 v3, as it can reach much higher clocks than the ones that you've featured.
I chose that xeon since it came with the motherboard. The 1660V3 is around $40 (like with 50+ reviews and 4 stars and above) I do see it for $20 but the sellers don’t have reviews. If I find one that looks legit I will benchmark it.
Based on the benchmarks ive seen the 2680V4 got better fps. But like an extra 7-13fps. I bought my 2680v4 for like $10 on ali express during a non sale day. Both perform similar so it depends which one you can get cheaper. I will benchmark the 2680v4 with several games sometime later.
I was using Windows 10 with this build so it didn’t require TPM2. You can technically still use windows 11 with this motherboard, but you won’t have the full features such as tpm2 because most Xeons don’t support windows 11 to its fullest.

Yup I'm coming back just for one request: can you make a Counter Strike 2 low/mid/high/very high fps benchmark with this build? I would understand if you can't do it. However, amazing vid again 👌🏼👏🏻
Yes your gpu will work with the 2697 V3. Good combo. I actually did a video on those exact same specs here: th-cam.com/video/Ih579_IjU_Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aNyeZ59aZKxRTvG7
@@EliMrtz-k6v 1. make sure your cpu cooler is connected. 2. Take out 1 ram and see if it turns on with only 1 stick of ram 3. Plug HDMI cable to gpu or try another hdmi or display port cable 4. Clearing the cmos can help but for these xeon builds the main problem would be incorrect ram placements
brother I need help, I'm going to put 4x8gb ram 1600mhz in your $200 PC assembly because I couldn't find a 1x16 module. Do you think that PC will let me play Warzone at good graphics and fps, because in your video of the e5 2670 v2 rx580 32gb ram was going pretty smoothly for you, you would help me a lot bro! And yes I can make improvements to the PC but I am going to do the assembly just like you did.❤️
Yea for xeon builds 4 sticks of ram work better than 2. Warzone played pretty well. The only game where I noticed fps stutters was Fortnite. What GPU will you be using?
@@SandwichTech_ an rx 580 with 1244mhz core frequency and 1750mhz memory frequency, and well I don't play Fortnite a lot but being able to play Warzone with ultra and stable graphics would be good
@@Diego_10xd You'll be able to play on Balanced settings with an avg fps of 65. As for ultra you'll get 60fps in certain areas of the map but you will probably average around 55fps throughout the whole match. There's a setting called Frame Gen that boost fps but the input delay is pretty bad. It could say 120FPS but it feels like 70FPS. If they fix Frame Gen, it will be extremely useful for budget builds.
@@SandwichTech_ It seems good to me, bro, well, although there are many graphic options in Warzone that I will remove almost everything, I will leave it at a minimum and the textures at normal since it does not change much and there are other options that remove fps and do not affect the graphics, so I imagine that by configuring the graphics well it would have a very good performance and well the fsr I don't think I notice it much
Did they say new parts? Cuz this build at the maximum is around $300 But most of the time it will be around $250-$280. With black Friday sales coming up you can possibly build this for around $220ish. Check the links in the description for the parts.
I bought a kit, but it still hasn't arrived, I've been waiting for 35 days and it still hasn't arrived, it's Aliexpress I said "it takes time, it's normal" But days have passed and it still hasn't arrived, now I ordered this kit to see if it arrives and If not I will ask for a refund 😪
After 3 weeks its not normal. My gpu took about a week to get here and the mobo and cpu took around 2 weeks. I did order some rgb fans and that took 4 weeks to get an update. They didn't even ship out because they were out of stock so i just asked for a refund, and the refund took around a month. Its just unfortunate, did you buy off a seller with lots of reviews and 4+ stars?
No it will work fine. The power supply is rated c which is perfect for budget builds. Many big TH-camrs like Zach Tech Turf, toasty bros use most of these parts as well for budget pc’s.

I’m not no TH-camr professional but for the vids where u play different g me in one hour isn’t good bc some people are here for CSGO or Fortnite so why not post différents videos One for Fortnite one for whatever games

I will do separate Fortnite benchmarks when the new season drops. I will start doing separate benchmarks for games that have seasons such as Apex, Warzone, Fortnite etcc. When a new season drops for one of those games, ill do a benchmark.

I believe there is only 1 fan header and 1 cpu fan header. But if you have a fan splitter you connect multiple fans.
@@SandwichTech_ so i can connect the fan hub to the fan header and use the extra fan headers from the fan hub?
Which os do you use please ?
Can you try warzone without fsr??
sir need your advise i have e5 2697 v3 and rx6600 8g is this fit to my existing xeon and gpu ? TIA
Yes your gpu will work with the 2697 V3. Good combo. I actually did a video on those exact same specs here: th-cam.com/video/Ih579_IjU_Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aNyeZ59aZKxRTvG7
@@SandwichTech_ THanks sir
I gave in and decided to build the pc I’m having trouble with it not turning on can anyone help?
@@EliMrtz-k6v
1. make sure your cpu cooler is connected.
2. Take out 1 ram and see if it turns on with only 1 stick of ram
3. Plug HDMI cable to gpu or try another hdmi or display port cable
4. Clearing the cmos can help but for these xeon builds the main problem would be incorrect ram placements
@@SandwichTech_ thank you I will try this
Where do I find the drivers for this ???
Its on amd website. I used the RX 580 drivers even tho the rx 580 2048sp is not a true rx 580
but u are using it at 2133mhz right?
@@xd3510 yea 2133mhz
brother I need help, I'm going to put 4x8gb ram 1600mhz in your $200 PC assembly because I couldn't find a 1x16 module.
@@SandwichTech_ It seems good to me, bro, well, although there are many graphic options in Warzone that I will remove almost everything, I will leave it at a minimum and the textures at normal since it does not change much and there are other options that remove fps and do not affect the graphics, so I imagine that by configuring the graphics well it would have a very good performance and well the fsr I don't think I notice it much
@@SandwichTech_ brother another question if I put 4x8 RAM 1866MHz is going to have better fps?
whats the cpu cooler?
i built this i used aigo ice200pro for the cooler because it was cheaper
Nice💯💯💯
Hey how would this Xeon compare to a 6th gen i5 or i7 in gaming?
Much better i would say
amazing
💯💯💯💯
Gave this list to a pc shop, he said it would cost $900. Now what ?
Its just unfortunate, did you buy off a seller with lots of reviews and 4+ stars?
funcionan las ram no ecc?
Yo probe ram que no es ECC y trabajo bien. So si se puede usar. Si lo vas a comprar Asegurate en la descripcion que se puede usar ECC y no ECC
It won’t break after a month of usage right?😿
No it will work fine. The power supply is rated c which is perfect for budget builds. Many big TH-camrs like Zach Tech Turf, toasty bros use most of these parts as well for budget pc’s.
same specs i try using my wattage metter full its 95watts full load with undervolt 2048 sp rx580 its cheap and low power very save energy and money. cpu draw 25watts power saver mode balance 35watts high with 100% all parked cpu on 80watts

Can this build use windows .11?
@@Albin_09 yea it can use windows 11 but the cpu wasn’t meant to be used with windows 11 so you miss out on a few features and a couple security updates. Windows 10 ends on October 2025 I believe
@@SandwichTech_ thanks
The ram ddr3 or ddr4
It is DDR4 Ram
What is that green thing😂
looool its a frog fireworks
I’m not no TH-camr professional but for the vids where u play different g me in one hour isn’t good bc some people are here for CSGO or Fortnite so why not post différents videos
One for Fortnite one for whatever games
When it comes down to Fortnite i do separate videos since that's the most requested game and that's the game I have the most experience in. I will do separate Fortnite benchmarks when the new season drops. I will start doing separate benchmarks for games that have seasons such as Apex, Warzone, Fortnite etcc. When a new season drops for one of those games, ill do a benchmark.
How valorant in the high have more fps than in the low 😅😅😅😅
I’m assuming because the gpu is working more on high settings it produces better fps.
BRO DIDNT FEEL LIKE SPEAKING THIS VIDEO
Lol if it was a full step by step building tutorial I would talk but this was a quick build vid. Next one tho 👀👀
i quite litterly bought the same parts hahhaa
I have the Rx 580 sp2048, but I'm not sure about the Qiyida mobo is it good? Is there any alt you recommend i need your opinion
The machinist brand and the zsus brand are 2 alternatives. Honestly I’m still using this xeon pc with the qiyida motherboard and I’ve had no issues. I even went live using this pc and no issues happened. Pretty reliable.
