Funny Or Die first of all you're absolutely hilarious this is the first video I've ever watched. I have to say is it ever hard to believe that people were so ignorant. Then I thought the humor that you're using now have you used that humor 10 years ago people would have been tearing you apart. I've been around for a lot of years and watched a lot of things change but people's views and opinions on HIV and AIDS has certainly been one of the most Monumental changes in belief system for most then I've ever seen. Thank God the days of AIDS being a certain death sentence are no longer with us and that makes this humor possible. I miss the simple sitcoms even though unto themselves can be ridiculous but at least they carried a simple message that could be passed on to children. You don't see that anymore. To get a telephone and they're sent to lock themselves up with social media and get an education there. At least TV gave an effort to do it in a gentler softer way. With all that said that probably has nothing to do with your purpose for this video and on top of that mimic absolutely no sense whatsoever I will say what the f*** was with dad laugh track all the ones before it and all the ones after. I was a kid in the mid-80s to mid-90s, and honestly, some poor kid is lucky he didn't go to school with US (not the other way around) because we still thought you could get it from spit (sharing ice cream). Like, we thought we were so progressive because we knew HUGGING was fine, but parents were still like "we know they say it's not possible but... better safe than sorry" :/ all it did was give kids huge complexes.

Outside of the laugh track, I think they handled it fantastically. They went through all the steps that everyone takes in their thought patterns and actions based on the incorrect information out there and walks them to the right solutions and information. That's a great way of teaching in my opinion

Valar this was like a lot of shows.. After school special type deals because a lot of parents at the time divorced and the kids considered latchkey kids. Kids who came home to empty homes and lived mostly on their own due to their parents work (or otherwise) schedule. A lot of kids in this era half if not mostly raised by TV.
during the early 80s the knowledge of how aids is passed was very ignorant and VSE's like this would basically explain hey kids you wont get aids for just hanging out to combat ignorance that was happening during the time

Man, the twentieth century was weird; someone writing this episode legitimately thought having the little white boy character make a slavery joke to a little black boy character was cute, wholesome humor.
