Perfect example of content that everyone is looking for. No bs or fillers like the other product pushers. Plus it’s relative to lakes and rivers. Amazing vids as always! Tight lines and love the vids!
Matt, i like all your videos but especially your on the water tutorials. I am mainly a bank angler but your content is relevent to both bank and boat anglers. Tight lines.
Watched your last spinnerbait video; some of my new Picasso sb's are arriving today!! I just got my latest order of Core Tackle Swim Jigs!! My Fall is set! I cannot wait to hit the water and do a side by side comparison of the two! Two things I know for sure: 1- if you are recommending, it is a solid techinique or solid product and I never question whether I need to learn the technique or buy the product. 2- That watching your channel keeps my wallet very light and easy to carry! IYKYK!!! Thanks for another great video!
I'm going to order Core Tackle swim jigs. I only throw 1/4 oz. with 3.25 rage swimmer. Thinking of the 2/O. Is that what you recommend? Thanks Excellent show today btw.
Really good video would like to see more like this, water clarity vs lure type and I would add how sunny vs cloudy drive the lure type. The one thing that I noticed that I haven't ever before is that you were throwing left hand retrieve on the spinning bait but right hand retrieve on the swim jig, whaat? I never notice that before, growing up with Mitchells i was always left hand spinning and then when I started getting into baitcasters right hand retrieve was pretty much the only option. I just purchased a couple of left hand retrieve baitcasters to see how I like it. Would be interesting to hear why you switch it up with the baitcasters, thanks.
Just ordered a few of the core tackle swim jigs. going to throw a 4" or 5" zman diezel minnow on and drag it along the bottom for snook along the rocks and bridges around the treasure coast of fl. Best combo of the infamous flair hawk and a swim bait. Have had great success in the past with something similar in the past. 1/2 and 3/4 oz jigs maybe? =)
@@MattStefanFishing I'm sure I will =). The swim jig and paddletail combo is something no one in this area fishes, but is absolutely killer on the west coast and in the everglades. Caught a ton of snook on that combo years ago but wasn't really happy with the jigs. These on the other hand, look absolutely perfect.
You sold me on that spinnerbait from your last video. I got on TW and bought a few. My home like I throw a swim jig and spinnerbait alot. Whole lake is 2-3 ft deep and always less than a foot visibility.
"Not paid actors" well that's my moroning coffe on the screen. xD Been fishing a wg bladed jig like that. Get right to the edge, pop it a few times and the retrive in the free water back. Been using a crawfish trailer. Been a go to this last few days when the fishing has been slow in the river. Frosty nights and no wind and 20degrees c plus on the days and low water dew to lack of rain. September fishing in rivers is a challange. If you exclude pike, pike is gonna pike.

This is the exact video I needed! I have so much confidence in spinnerbaits, but have always wondered when to try to throw the swim jig
Glad to help!
You've convinced me that I don't fish a swim jig enough... Time for a change of habits!
give it a try!

Great information.👌
Thanks Matt.👍👍
My pleasure!
Good video Matt 🤛
Thanks 👍
great video i have an question for you what baits do you go to when the water starts turning over
Jerkbait and swimbait
Matt, why do you choose a left hand reel for one and a right hand reel for the other?
I can use both equally

Sounds like fun!
What is your rod for spinnerbait? And what line are you using? I can't seem to get a good set up that I like for spinnerbait so I don't throw it much.
MHX mb-843 15 lb fluoro
That's why I have many rods on the deck. 😂
Haha me too
Take that skirt off that titanium Picasso one u had on the other day and put a swimbait on the head with no skirt , works very well here
Absolutely
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
