I love how you guys just roll with the punches.... I think I would have been freaking out knowing the road was being blocked for a cartel related dispute. But you keep your sense of humour, and stay calm, and just go with it. Happy New Year from St. Catharines, Ontario!
Aww guys, it’s so lovely to see how you guys handle life situations together. As a Mexican, I could have love to see you guys experience a Mexican Xmas as I personally think are just an amazing experience, but I can see how difficult it’s for tourists to find that. Feliz año nuevo!
What a lovely and heartwarming video this was. It's amazing the connections you make travelling when you're less jaded, more open and trusting of new people than you are back home. Thanks for sharing this journey with us. Wishing you a healthy and happy 2023!
I'd recognize this RV park anywhere! We love Thelma and Isla Aguada. We quarantined there for 3 months during the start of the pandemic. Seeing everyone together on Christmas was all the feals. Sorry, it was so rainy for you. It's such a beautiful place.
SOOO COOL!!! What a fun way for kids to grow up! I mean I think kids should be attending school by 5 yrs but up until then and then on summers to spend summer traveling like that would be amazing for kids!
Even with the glitches this looked like a perfect Christmas. Have a great new year. Just camw across your channel today and i love it. You are both so neat and so not annoying like many other youtube channels. Hope to see your travels coming up.
Love it. Even with all that rain you still had an amazing Christmas (great impromptu dinner with everyone). Also, I loved the dophins swimming out in the bay. Have a great New Years :)
Love you guys. Be glad you got rain instead of the Buffalo Blizzard! Over 2022, I culled most all my vloggers, so I'm down to Levi & Leah and Becki & Chris (You're in my Canadian Couples Cabal!) The beach cleanup on Xmas is such a great tradition, but in Vancouver (cold)? Better than I. Again, great adventures, but we will have to work on that knot-tying! This Scoutmaster gives you a "needs improvement." When you get up to outside Boston, if you make it to a scouts meeting, our scouts can give you a hand; I'll throw in an MA beach cleanup!😁 All in all, enjoy your adventure and well-deserved Jan break. So great to see such a wise couple exploring and envious of the open attitude and easygoing nature which conquers obstacles with aplomb. Love, from the colder-than-Mexico-but-still-warming NorthEast.
When i was in my late 20s i found myself on disability and rehab following a auto accident (i had gotten Tboned , spun and the left side of my car rammed under a high axle county maintenance truck. They had to peel my roof off starting at the back and cut away the back of my seet before putting me on a back and neck board. I bought a post 2000 Dodge neon , a yackima rack with two bike racks and a long but narrow cargo pod. I ripped out the passenger seat, put a full size spare on the floor, then built a bed on the right side of the car. I would often use a tarp over the seat of the bicycle, tied down to wheels on the left side and and then fly it out to any tie down points off to the right and rear. One thing to learn about using oversize tarp is their natural sag….. you have to figure out a heavy duty ridge line that the tarp can rest on…. Not just run light weight lines from grommets to tie down points. You had fewer anchor points than i thought un your short video but you could have ran support lines from that tree on your right side to the front and rear tire of the RV on your left side , draped the tarp over that , then shape and secured the tarp using your light weight cordage…. But as you said in this video it was all borrowed from the neighbor…. Given that you have alot more travels ahead of you…. I would suggest at some point getting a light weight but large tarp, a shopping bag of ropes of all sizes and just playing around for a day in nice weather and see what you can do.
So sorry you had a soggy Christmas!! We're having cloudy and rainy here in San Diego. Gloomy sucks!! You guys have a great attitude 👍 stay safe and healthy through the NEW YEAR!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from us! Those tortas (I think that’s what they were?) looked amazing. A beautiful thing to clean the beach too! Thank you for including education about the blockade. Safe travels!!❤
Great vid. What a memorable Christmas on the road. Thank you for sharing it with us. Loved the dolphins, sharing a meal with fellow travellers, beach clean up, and keeping family traditions (drinks). All the best for your week off. May 2023 bring more wonderful adventures. Love from Western Australia (a Canadian who found a beachy paradise)
Loved it! Happy holidays for you both! And great close up for an amazin year!! Also Levi i loved those shots of the rain and other things.. i fell i just noticed them on this video just now, but maybe they always been there... either way... one more time.. very enjoyable video! 😀👍
. . . love this post! . . . Mexico is often wet over Christmas . . . travelled there one Christmas holiday a few years ago, and came back to Northern Alberta whiter than when I left! . . . expensive lesson learned . . . sure chuckling through your post ;) . . .
That hold up was classic Mexico. You aren't truly in Mexico until there's a local hold up. And yes we are always prepared for any situation w food and drink...of all sorts...also I'm a mezcal fan and am weirdly curious about that mocha mezcal.
Thanks for this. You can really see how critical space is. I think you really need a vehicle where you can comfortably sit up and use the computer in. I was thinking about a Toyota Rav4 PRIME (the largest plug in hybrid I can find where I am located). I wonder if it is possible to take out all of the seats except the drivers seat, and then bolt a computer desk office chair on a swivel to the floor and use a vesa monitor mount with a small desk attached to the office chair? I found a really comfortable office chair from Ikea, I could cut off the base but then I would need a way to mount the pole to the car floor.
Happy New Year Levi and Leah! ❤ Leah, I commend you for not freaking out giving Levi directions when passing that huge truck on the side of the road, especially with all these spikes that were sticking out. 😂 Don’t know if I mentioned this, but my kitty Ruger took from the car a couple of weeks ago, and I just found out that he moved into this house with a bunch of squatters 🙈🤣
You guys are quite the adventurers! I would have gotten an Airbnb after the crazy traffic jam and rain. I always look forward to your uploads. Usually, I'm not one for vlog-style videos, but you guys always keep me intrigued with your storylines. How are Levi's parents? Are they still in Mexico?
I travel in a Toyota Prius V, I have no problem with six hours of traffic jam. I’m sick so I can eat sleep put up my tent like yours. Run the air conditioning play music or watch a video. It’s nice to take lemons and make lemonade. I’ll post some of my survival equipment for you..
So did you guys drive from Mexico City all the way to Isla Aguada Campeche? Is that the place? You guys skipped some of the most AMAZING places in Mexico. The best beaches are in Oaxaca!
I was curious how the Prius did in the traffic (going to the beach for Christmas) what kind of range you have, And was there any fear of car issues? The following you guys Merry Christmas and here's the 2023.
It would be interesting if you went to meet with some indigenous people to highlight the problems they’ve been having, as safely as possible of course if cartel stuff is involved.
When you guys finally finish this & get back home your apartment is going to seem sooo big, I bet you run in and hug the yellow couch, then jump in your bed and sleep for few hours ha ha…😂🤓thx for the fun videos, happy holidays..🎄🎁🎊🎉🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄🎆🎇
Guys, I’m all in love with you now and used to being on the road with you and suddenly you drop a bomb you’re going away for a month? What am I supposed to do in January - make goals for myself? No freaking way - not gonna happen. Hurry back.
Let us know if you aren’t going to post long form videos on you tube anymore. We have no reason to use you tube for “shorts” that are the same as what you already posted on Instagram.
I love how you guys just roll with the punches.... I think I would have been freaking out knowing the road was being blocked for a cartel related dispute. But you keep your sense of humour, and stay calm, and just go with it. Happy New Year from St. Catharines, Ontario!
Haha not much we could do in this circumstance but thank you!
Aww guys, it’s so lovely to see how you guys handle life situations together.

Feliz año nuevo!
Yeah it was wild to see the cities and streets decorated for Xmas time. Happy to have seen what we got to see. Such a magical country. 🥰🙏🏼
Great!!!
Take a week off. Stay healthy!
Love you guys
Thank you! We’ll be back 😅🥰🙋🏻♂️
Lovely making your own traditions your way happy 2023🎉
What a lovely and heartwarming video this was. It's amazing the connections you make travelling when you're less jaded, more open and trusting of new people than you are back home. Thanks for sharing this journey with us. Wishing you a healthy and happy 2023!
I think everyone should do it! (As low impact as possible of course)
I'd recognize this RV park anywhere! We love Thelma and Isla Aguada. We quarantined there for 3 months during the start of the pandemic. Seeing everyone together on Christmas was all the feals. Sorry, it was so rainy for you. It's such a beautiful place.
Love guys! Best authentic Christmas video a see so far ❤❤❤

Love it. Even with all that rain you still had an amazing Christmas (great impromptu dinner with everyone). Also, I loved the dophins swimming out in the bay. Have a great New Years :)
Those dolphins were hanging out basically all day everyday that we were there. Kind of amazing 🥰

So happy to have made the cut haha. Becky and Chris are awesome too. 👍🏼 We definitely need the lessons though 🙏🏼

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! Don't worry, we had a big snow then a big rain here in Victoria too so it was like being at home ;)
Hahaha yeah we saw (and heard) from folks back home. Sounds like we were all going through it this year 😂
Merry Christmas 🎄 and a blessed New Year🎉
Happy New Year’s, be safe , blessings 😊.
Happy new year!!
Happy New Year.
As an agave farmer and mezcal aficionado…mocha flavor mezcla sounds great. Just enjoy it!
Haha glad you approve! It’s been great actually!
Love the stockings
I would’ve definitely had a panic attack in that traffic jam lmao kudos to you two for not losing your shit!
Happy New Years!! Stay safe!
Lots of French Canadians as well in the US often call them go south in the winter acting as snowbirds.
Hahaha yeah we’ve definitely noticed that
Happy New Year y’all….from Texas!
Happy New Year! 🎉🍻
New year new me! Haha
In Venezuela is similar when communities along the road block it to protest for anything, from water shortages or electricity.
A sad reality that we’re learning about here. 😕
Gracias por compartir
Omg Leah! I feel your pain I got my period and COVID on Christmas this year.
It’s always good to have a spotter! Thanks for the comment 🙋🏻♂️🙏🏼

How are Levi's parents? Are they still in Mexico?
They’re home now but I’m so glad you’re enjoying our content! It means so much that you’re here 🙏🏼🥰
After the weather vancouver and area had last week, I had to laugh when you said it wasn't a white Christmas.
Hahah yeaaaah we acknowledge that our west coast fam has been going through it 😅
Lol the period jokes cracked me up. Love it so much! 😂
My anxiety would have been through the roof. Props to you.
Yeah it was pretty stressful 😳
Plot twist, that man selling snacks and drinks was the mastermind behind the traffic jam, it's an excellent business model.
Saludos happy New year 🎆
The bare hands for beach cleanup gave me so much anxiety!
This may be super simple but where are you guys gassing up the Prius and how does that affect your travels? Love the vids and your journey !
Where was this campground?
Happy New Year kids. ( I think I may say that. I’m in the age of your parents 😉)Stay safe and in good health. All the best. Jaroslav 🙂🇨🇿
"Not our best rope job" deff has Shibari vibes 😂
😆😆😆
So did you guys drive from Mexico City all the way to Isla Aguada Campeche? Is that the place? You guys skipped some of the most AMAZING places in Mexico. The best beaches are in Oaxaca!
The period snickers, could he be any sweeter 😭
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
I was curious how the Prius did in the traffic (going to the beach for Christmas) what kind of range you have, And was there any fear of car issues? The following you guys Merry Christmas and here's the 2023.
The Prius is very good on gas and we get about 600kms on a tank so we’ve had no problems 👍🏼
*love following
How'd the drive to Merida go?
Thankfully totally smooth (for the most part)
For sure was indigenous people how take the road, they are very struggling communities.
It would be interesting if you went to meet with some indigenous people to highlight the problems they’ve been having, as safely as possible of course if cartel stuff is involved.
Yeah that’s a good point! It’s harder to find that kind of experience but we’re always open to those things!
!!
You guys need a 5 gallon bucket with trash bags and toilet seat. One of you go while the other holds a sheet up. Instant toilet.
Hahaha wow that’s next level intimate 😅
When you guys finally finish this & get back home your apartment is going to seem sooo big, I bet you run in and hug the yellow couch, then jump in your bed and sleep for few hours ha ha…😂🤓thx for the fun videos, happy holidays..🎄🎁🎊🎉🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄🎆🎇
Hahaha yeah we already feel that way just with an Airbnb for a couple nights😅
Are you guys OK? Haven't an update since Christmas? Hope things are good...
I was thinking the same. Hope all is well. ❤
Guys, I’m all in love with you now and used to being on the road with you and suddenly you drop a bomb you’re going away for a month? What am I supposed to do in January - make goals for myself? No freaking way - not gonna happen. Hurry back.
Hahaha not a month. A week 👍🏼😅 glad you’re enjoying the content though, thanks for being here! 🙏🏼🥰
Cartel blocks off the roads? The fear I would be in smh
Brasil Brazil Braziul uhullll
