I have the standard head Mac 28, its a great engine. Ofna makes the standard head 28 and Hobao makes the turbo head 28. Also the fins on the crankcase of the Ofna an Hobao turbo versions are different. Ofna has the Hyper .21 8 port Race version, which uses the Mac 28 crankcase, bearings and crankshaft with the .21 8 port piston and sleeve in it.

I took mine out and converted to 4s brushless......dang engine is aggravating to tune.....just broken in too...now motor is in a box..,gallon of brand new fuel to burn up in my rustler n ill be done with nitro

I scratched up a brand new engine braking it in , starting the more & more throttle thing ,one little blip of the trigger and it's on it's roof ,no body on . Quite disappointing

What's size glow plugs go in the hyper 28mac 6p

Can u use a regular pull start on a mac 28 that came with the green handle cops pull start

You can if it fits. I think only the old hyper 21 pull starts will fit because of the odd shape.

@NitroTalkwithTodd idk I found a pull start that has the same part number as the cops off pull I have on my engine says its for the Mac 28, as long as the hex one way shaft is the same size I feel confident it will fit and work

What about hex starter shaft can you send me a pic of it is it same as mac28 and Hyper 21
