I have a LG blue ray in mine. Don't see a reason to throw it away since it works. Just keep upgrading ny parts instead and using the same old case.
Need a dvd drive? 3 easy steps.
1. Travel to the Eastern US.
2. Locate my back yard.
3. Blue Tupperware bin on the back deck.
4. Pick out a drive and take the damn thing.
5. Watch me stare at you out the window wondering why a dude would need a optical drive in 2023. Even though you really need the drive, I'll still be suspicious as fu#k.

if you buy a pc without a drive, why be upset?, if you read the description b4 you brought it, you know that it didn't include a DVD/CD drive, if you wanted to show how to install a DVD drive, you should just say that,no one buy a pc without reading the description
I think its a translation / cultural thing. He says "to save you from the stress you are having." Colloquially this doesn't sound like he is upset. Its just a different way of saying if you are having this problem. Though it does sound like there is some dismay to having this problem, but I don't think he or anyone else would be that upset.
