Heavy rpi user here. I would recommend springing for something a little more affordable. Pi are way too high priced now, used to be 35$ a board, pi 4 was more based on the ram size

I have the argon raspberry pi case, it allows me to use a sata m.2 ssd, and has full size hdmi ports. Also has a lot of cool features, like a programmable fan curve which most pi cases don't support
You can get a raspberry pi 4b 8gb (largest model), power supply, HDMI cord for under 90 bucks from licensed distributors (when they have stock, been tight lately but supply is getting better slowly). Cooling kit for 10-20 bucks at most, and a case like this for 45, and some of those even include the cooling kit.

Raspberry pi 4, the geekpi mini tower case with ice cooler comes with the mini screen and the fan with leds. Then looks like the 3.5" mini keyboard and the 3.5 mini display...
It needs to be a inch wider so there's room for port extensions to the rear of the case in the positions of normal motherboard i.o and GPU i.o lol that would be way better.
Raspberry pis are fun. Although $300 is crazy, you could probably do this with $100-120 (you might have to omit the screen on the side though, haven't seen one of those)
I absolutely would pay that price if it was fully functional as a raspberry pie PC And had that cool little case with R GB lights and just the entire design process of it was cool
It's actually kinda crazy how expensive Raspberry Pis have gotten due to lack of supply. The top end Pi 4 costs over $200 just for the main board. I think that's the hulk of thr cost cause I can't imagine a tiny case, some rgbs, and a little ups costs that much for this implementation.

It's just a raspberry pi. They're alright for normal web browsing and you can turn them into old-school console emulator. I think it can go up to ps2.
