    I've got a 08 D40 just put a new turbo in and wanting to just do a full service overhaul and replace all injectors and glows soon. I haven't looked at prices yet but is it worth doing myself or just take it up and pay to have all new ones put in?

    • @abcautotrendy

      Good day Mat.
      May I ask a reason of
      1. Injector replace ?
      2. Glow plug replacement ?
      1.1 better find a place that perform injector pressure test and cleanup and re use them if injectors are perform well such as
      * no back leak
      * better in flow rate
      * better in ideal flow rate
      2.2 you can test glow plugs and replace only if Bads (if your having a running engine that means your glow plugs are good)
      1.1, irrespective of injector replace or test and reinstall you need to keep following in hand
      1. U washers X4 (back leak washer)
      2. Copper shims X4
      3. Injector body O-ring X4
      Let me know if you need any help so I can guide you to do it by yourself
      Cheers

      @@abcautotrendy only reason I thought to replace them is idk the service history of the car and it has 340k, it runs great lil bit of a rattely thing but I plan on doing a few things before I end up eventually selling it but for now I plan on driving it for a while as it's great on fuel and is over all nice to drive I just noticed the other day it has puffed a bit of white smoke on start up (could be a range of things) there is no power loss and any white smoke is gone the moment I start to drive. other thing I'm replacing soon is front wheel bearings, it's also been straight piped and dpf delete. Thanks for taking the time to reply mate

    Hello
    I just received a pathfinder same as my model for parts.
    After inspection notice oil been pushed out the motor side breather hose connected to catch can.
    What could cause this?
    Extreme blow by pressure?

    • @abcautotrendy
      @abcautotrendy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. What I can understand is that your engine is under a compressor that's the reason mechanics get a lot of oils pushed to the catch can...
      You can do a test by taking off that hose out of the catch can and inserting it into a clean empty water bottle and leaving the engine running for about 30 minutes and seeing how much oil is filled in the bottle.

    Good day, my d40 has an oil leak on the top of the no. 4 injector below the electirical socket i think its the rubber seal. Does nissan will replace only the one leaking or all the four because they will remove the top cover anyway.

    • @abcautotrendy
      @abcautotrendy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, you can replace only the leaking seal, I have done a video of how to replace and it can be done by yourself instead of taking to Nissan and paying higher cost

      It depends of the fault, if the electrical head broken or chip damaged, otherwise nozzle clogged with carbon deposits. So the overall it may cost 15-20k
