Taweret having to pull double duty in this afterlife since Anubis is also in a statue like Khonshu. At least the other gods gave him enough time to give her notecards.
I feel like when she says she doesn't have note cards for the issue with the scales, or the fact that there are apparently multiple souls from one death...Anubis would've just chucked Steven and Jake over the side and weighed Marc and been done. lol Not dealing with weird shit like that appropriately is probably why he got locked up.
We still haven't learned much Marc's second alter, other than hints here and there. Yes, Steven existed to protect Marc emotionally. The other one is probably also there to protect Marc, and based on what happened on the cliff in episode 3, the other is probably a physical protector and survivor, created when marc was still a child and faced with a threat other than his mother.
They FINALLY showed Jake in the very beginning of the episode! Listen to his accent and his demeanor is completely different from Steven and Marc. Also explains why his face is busted up.
I have had a moment in my life where if not because i have siblings i could talk to, i might've created a Steven for myself. This episode was a real tearjerker. Kudos to Oscar Isaac for his performance!
I’m thinking don’t release the red sarcophagus. That’s most likely all of Marc’s suppressed rage and dark emotions. I heard one theory that said that since we don’t know HOW Marc’s mom died it could be possible that the third personality that Marc and Steven don’t know about, took control and killed Marc’s mom.
@@trhone1978 ppl have said he said it on twitter. Idk I don't follow the dude...but that's what other ppl have been saying in the comments. We will have to see if he shows up in the final ep, I guess. 🤷♀️
YES! Dimension 20 is amazing :-) don't know what you've seen but it's all great. pretty sure you've seen escape from blood keep but if not Matt is adorable in it :-)
A lot of people are speculating that it's Jake with the broken nose at the beginning, and I thought so to. The accent, vocabulary and facial expressions definitely wasn't Steven and not really Marc either. BUT when Marc flashed back to speak with Dr. Harrow near the end, he put his hand to his neck and said "you drugged me". If that was Jake, pretty sure Marc wouldn't remember it happening.
It could be co-con - something I have learned on a DID channel I found because of this series is that two alters can share control of the body, and if they don't yet know each other they may not realise they are being influeced by another alter. So one could interept it as Marc, but with Jake near the front, influencing him.
1.Grace Randolph is hating on this show. 2.The 3rd personality Jake was introduced 5 minutes in with Oscar Isaac's bandaged nose and bruised eyes speaking to Harrow. This Moon Knight series has left me a Broken man.🥺🥺
We haven't seen Jake Lockley yet (or have we?) I think Marc created Jake Lockley not Steven in that room as a child to deal coping with his Mother beating him. Steven doesn't remember that and seems to remember a loving Mother not a cruel one as we see Marc turn to Steven start to talk on his cell outside the funeral to his Mother not realizing there is no answer. Also we have seen in this episode not just Marc and Steven talking to Doctor Harrow in the Asylum but possibly Jake (the patient with the broken nose) as well. His name has not been said yet but it's been implied he's been there.
Marc didn't create Jake. Steven did. Marc created Steven to be the brave and clever Dr Steven Grant, someone who could handle the perils of his unstable mother. But Steven was still just a kid himself, and he couldn't handle being beaten either. So he created Jake to take the beatings. Not to be an emotional shield, like what Marc did with Steven...but just to be a punching bag. That's why Marc doesn't know about Jake. Steven doesn't know about Jake yet because he himself hasn't had to confront it. It's why they were both confused when Marc woke up with a knife in a guy in Cairo, and neither had any idea what had happened. Jake is the tank, Steven is the support, and Marc is the DD.
Gotta say reacting to DnD games is a good idea. I barely see anyone doing it. But yes. Smaller audience... so.... dunno. I want it but I know it's not good like in terms of views
Steven was created to protect marc and his final act was protecting marc. Beautiful.
This is the one episode where I am watching as many fan reactions as I can. It’s such an amazing episode.
Same me too lol such an incredible episode and sad what he went through
Me to can't wait for blinewave's reaction

This episode brought up some childhood trauma I've been living hard to suppress so it felt a little to real for me hardest I've cried in a long time
I feel that dude. My siblings and I were abused too so I get that 💯
Devastating episode incredible acting, a great way of showing what people with extreme cases of DID can go through
I think Marc is the host/trauma holder, Steven the caregiver, and J. the protector
The song at the end of the episode is in spanish and says:
/Beyond the sun, beyond the sun, I have a home home, beautiful home beyond the sun//
“Thats so sad” BUT WAIT THERES MORE!
“Perfectly balanced…”
Oh my goodness girl I just finished this like 20 minutes ago and I cried so I feel you girl 😭

Oh no, it's a LONG one too. Let me grab popcorn, must be good

This along with Daredevil and Iron Fist are the two darkest titles in the MCU.

Loved the reaction, and your pet though. ❤

This is my first time on your channel. Enjoyed the honest reaction. Subscribed. Best of luck to you.
Thanks and welcome
Also, I believe the ‘busted up face’ version is Jake…
The director confirmed it wasn't Jake, unfortunately.
@@AnxietyRat source? Also, I would take the “confirmation” with a grain of salt

The villains a mummy. American doesn't need a new scary villain to scare them, they have the white man. 🤣🤣🤣

Lol Harrow was actually a good guy in this episode, he helps Marc & Steven get closure
Harrow is a way better therapist than Buckey's.
Excited for the game or animated Sly series. Keep up the great work. Thanks for being a bit of positivity in a pretty hard world.
I've seen a few of there sessions. Brennen Lee Mulligan is great.
