As the product of a Black mom and a non-Black dad, I think it’s important to acknowledge that a Black man and white woman can’t share Black love. They’re an example of interracial love, and it’s okay to not include them in this series in my opinion. I would be side-eying my parents if I saw them on this channel. 🤷🏽♀️ I think there’s a pressure on the Black community to be “all-inclusive.” But truth be told it’s not fair-we’re not a Caribbean resort.

@@FantaandDarwin Thanks for asking! My relationship with a Black person is Black love since people read me as Black (and also because of the US’s complicated historical definitions of Blackness). My relationship with a non-Black person would be interracial love.

This is the second time I've seen an interracial couple on the Black Love series/documentary and it's not needed whatsoever. Go ahead and create something specially for those couples but leave Black love for black couples.

On another note, to see this interracial couple just reminded me of the fact that our successful brothers are choosing to carry their legacy with someone other than another black woman which brings up another sore spot for black women which is the "why am I not enough for our black brothers". Why are we good enough when you have nothing but not when you are have plenty. Really upset that black love put this couple on here. If we wanted to see interracial dating all we needed was to look at the sidelines at every pro-basketball or football game. This was our space to celebrate us. Honestly happy for this couple but not appropriate for this segment.
I honestly don’t have an issue with interracial relationships. I also married a successful black man, so I can’t relate to the, “why am I not enough” sentiments.
Although, this is not the first time Black Love has showcased, what appears to be an interracial couple. I do agree that this is not the correct platform for them. They represent interracial/intercultural love, but not, “black love.” 👩🏾❤️💋👨🏽

Why can't "Black Love" be inclusive? All these comments about everyone not being Black are not reflective of God's love..Wake up people, stop mirroring that unGodly segment of society's biases. Black love is not a color, love is not a color..it's unconditional and beautiful just like God created it to be...If a Black person is in it, it qualifies as "Black love..Amen?
