Great video! Loved the Breakbot tune as well, me and my mates used to listen to that one all the time! I'm a first year student at Swansea at the moment (one of the reasons I chose it was because of how amazing and fun it looks in your videos) and it's kinda sad having missed out on most of the stuff you said. Really hope I can make up for it in year 2! :)
Thanks Joe! Oh fun! And yeah, I defo think it will get back to normal next semester (and some of this summer) so you will have lots of time to do fun things! I’m jealous!
Great information for September! Thank you xx what would you suggest for someone hoping to buy a car and have it ready for Uni? Shall I wait a year? I’m from London so not too far from you I imagine x
I actually might make a video about this soon but I really don’t think it’s necessary to have a car- there’s buses, bikes and a lot of people walk place and you can’t park on campus anyway but maybe for second or third year when in a house! X
Bus 115/116 llangennith rhossili 117 service also 118 Swansea city centre via killay rhossili and parkmill 118 service and 118 to port eynon which takes about 56 minutes and don't forget the mumbles service number 3 3A 113 west cross caswell bay and oystermouth
Thanks Joel! Yeah I know a few people who have done zoology and they really have enjoyed it :) all the first year content is more biology based then 2nd and 3rd year is a lot more specialised
I am going into my second year at swansea doing zoology and it is such an amazing course! the lecturers are all amazing and reply really fast to emails, and the actual content is so interesting and enjoyable!
@@TheSandDuneScienceShack ive just finished y1 and its not all that honestly. Theres fuck all human bio even tho the facilities are present. Nowt to do with pharmacy, medicine or human anatomy for a biology student. They make us do plants instead.
I've have applied for an MSc in Healthcare Management in Swansea and Coventry University as an international student. Which one is best in terms of job prospects and future credibility?
swansea by far most conventry isnt considered a very good university sort of just in general for most categories you will for sure enjoy your time way more in a place with decent study and of course in a lovely location like swansea
Hey ☺️ I have been accepted in Swansea for the upcoming winter semester this year. Would u recommend to stay in halls for an exchange student aswell? And do you think that by September- everything will be more or less back to on campus life ? Greetings 💜
Congrats! I’m not too sure about exchange students but I think it would be great to live in halls still. I do think by September things will be way more normal! Considering the UK is going back to normal in June, September should be fine- have fun!
Need help for find couple accommodation please at city centre stuck due to accommodation please help me out can you please tell how can i have tried with all sites like zoopla gumtree rightmove etc
Very nice videos (loved to watch many of your channel videos)! I was hoping to apply for Jan Intake at Swansea for MSc by research in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative medicine. I’m a tad bit sceptical about the course and want to contact someone currently doing it. Do you have any contact info of someone like that? Would be a big big biiiig help, Thankyou!
Hi, that’s great to here- I don’t actually know anyone doing the course but if you contact the university directly, they should be able to put you in touch with someone :)
As far I know at Swansea the nightlife is awful. As I am an international student and if I got there for study I need to work part-time besides my study and gym. I wish I will have big help from you regarding my concern.
@@istiaqueahmed755 the night life is great- at least we have had so much fun over the last three years. They enjoy it so much that people are even coming back now things are opening up! I have also made a video on full and part time jobs in Swansea whilst studying- it’s on my channel :)
Yeah, the uni try and group you by age so it’s highly unlikely you will be with any first years. If not, there’s always postgraduates looking for housemates on Facebook groups such as overheard in Swansea :)
Due to to the pandemic I completed my entire first year of uni online at home from my childhood bedroom, I missed out on a year of uni experiences, I haven't made any friends, I didn't get to experience living in halls - I did not even get to visit the university campus at all lol. Also due to this, I was so unmotivated throughout my first year so I did not try that much, tbh I haven't learnt much, Its summer now and I am regretting as I have come to the realisation that I have not learnt a single thing. Can you please give me advice for my second year? I am scared I will find second year incredibly difficult as I have learnt nothing in first year :(
You will be so fine! It’s quite rare (even out of a pandemic) that students are there solidly for all three years! My biggest advice next year is to join course chats, to go to ‘freshers fair’ and sign up to any sports clubs or societies that interest you and go to a lot of events the uni hold. Maybe try your hand at volunteering? You will have no trouble making friends that way ☺️
As for catching up on work- your lecturers are there to help. Email them and see if they can give advice on the motivation and work load- but I think you will be fine, the step up from 1st to 2nd year isn’t as big as 2nd to 3rd
