Am a Liverpool graduate as well ❤️❤️ best 4 years of my life !! Am from Kuwait so I was far far away from home it was so homey! I met amazing ppl that am still friends with! I graduated 4 years ago and I miss it so much

Thankyou so so much for this, I'm only 4 mins in and already am feeling more reassured! I'm taking a gap year in sep but hopefully will apply for vet med in oct for the next year, but everything is kind of crazy atm! Liverpool has always been my top choice, I went for an open day and fell in love! :)

What a city and fab uni. Best years of my live bar none. 25 years ago now, can't believe the same bars still going. Drinking tequila at Bar Ca Va until you drop is a right of passage. It goes by so quickly grab it with both hands and get ready for the time of your life!

This is such a helpful video thank you! I’m starting popular music in September and I was a bit worried about the drinking/club culture of Liverpool. I like drinking but I’m definitely more of a pub/bar girl than club. Really reassuring to know there’s other stuff to do haha x

I bloody loved my 8+ years at Liverpool University. Intercalated masters undergrad (4 years), a year as a paid intern at the vet school on the Wirral, 3.5 years as a PhD student at Alder Hey hospital

hi! what are the most social accommodations from your experience? was thinking of applying to crown, vine and philharmonic and not sure which order to put them in. Love your videos!!
Heyy, thank you !! I loved philharmonic and found it super social and I also had a lot of friends at crown who said the same about there! I didn’t really know anyone in vine so can’t comment on that one but tbh every accommodation is an opportunity to make loads of friends and meet different people. Hope that helped x

Thanks! Yeah there are a couple good places on bold street (the street I mentioned in the vid with loads of great independent restaurants) and then also the lark lane area near Smithdown is also great for charity shop/ thrift stores :)

Hi my first choice is for the university of Liverpool and have been very excited to go. With what happenings at the moment I’m afraid one teacher won’t give me the grade. Do you know what clearing is like at the uni?
heyy, personally as I didn't go through clearing i'm not really sure what it's like. However, i know a few friends who did and all managed to get places at uni's they liked so i'm sure either way everything will work out :)

Kind of specific question but what do people generally wear to go clubbing in Liverpool? Just graduated from Leeds Uni and I'm now doing a masters at Liverpool. In Leeds it was wear jeans and a nice top and trainers were fine.
I would say it’s v similar vibes to Leeds outfit wise. Jeans and a nice top/ skirt and a top were my go to. Always trainers never heels x

I’ve put greenbank accommodation as my first option, I know it’s further away from the campus and city centre but do you know if people still enjoyed living there? Xx
everyone i know who lived at greenbank loved it, it's slightly out the city but it is in the same area as where a lot of students live in second and third year so its a super student-y area as well as it being right by sefton park, which is v v pretty! best of luck xx
I lived in Greenbank this year and I absolutely loved it! You won’t even care that you’re further out from campus and the city centre. You’ll probably live on Smithdown Road in your second and third years, so living in Greenbank in your first year means that you’ll already know the area really well. Make sure you check out Lark Lane, Sefton Park, the Watering Can and the Brookhouse, they’re all within walking distance of Greenbank xx

I've got unconditional offers both from university of liverpool and liverpool John Moores..business studies.. almost same fee but liverpool John Moores fee is for 2 years with practice while university of liverpool fee is for 1 year MSc..I am confused which one to choose?

One question, what's the study abroad (semester) application process? Is it something you can apply for during first year or do you have to apply before going to the uni?
For the study abroad applications you apply during your first year! The application is pretty simple and there’s loads of help and advice send out to you when you start at the uni to make to super easy :)

Glad it helped! I would say it takes around 10 mins to get to the middle of campus and it defo felt safe. That was one of my favourite things about it, it has 24 hour security so there’s always someone at reception no matter what time and I always felt safe walking around the nearby area in the day/evening xx

most of them will, you could try to check the website to find out the names of the lecturers for the subject you’re interested in and maybe see their background/where they’re from

You mentioned that you did not meet the requirements. Are UOL lenient like for an ABB course would they accept BBC especially as they will have to be flexible during the global virus pandemic?

Thank you!! To be honest i think what they accept is totally dependent on the volume of people applying for the course that year. For example a friend of mine who also applied to Liverpool and got BBC didn't get onto her course. When i went to the open day and asked a lecturer he said typically they don't offer spaces for people who drop more than one grade below the requirements, so i guess i was just super lucky!! :)

I have just had an offer from Liverpool. Because i want to study law the entry requirements are AAA. However, i am predicted AAB. Do you still think there is a chance i could get in if i don't manage to get AAA in the end.
The entry requirements for my course were ABB and I got BBC, so I definitely think there is a chance but I obviously can’t guarantee it! Best of luck x

What's the student parking like? Is there an affordable option for student parking?
Parking isn’t great around the city and on campus, there isn’t any student parking on campus so most just walk/ get the bus

There is absolutely no con. You always feel you are part of the city and the school as a whole is very welcoming and food there is amazing and cheap.
