I always figured Penny gave you that TM because Draco Meteor is a meteor shower, and it just ties in well with the whole Operation Starfall theme, and also because she obviously had no use for the TM herself, whereas she's seen for herself you have a Dragon-type in Koraidon/Miraidon. Maybe she doesn't know it's part Dragon, having never seen one before, but she would undoubtedly catch the resemblance to Cyclizar, which I'd be surprised if she didn't know was part Dragon, so it seems like a reasonable assumption.
That said, I'd be pretty excited if I was wrong and it really was all to set up a Dragon-type Eeveelution.

Penny gives you draco meteor cause of the naming scheme of team star and herself. Cassiopeia is a constellation and each of the team star bases are named after stars, the story is called operation starfall, bringing down each star, and the entire "constellation" with herself too.
Draco meteor is quite literally a reference to falling stars, its got no other meaning. Even if there were an eeveelution coming, why on earth would they have the eevee trainer just be a teaster for it to exist in another game lmao

Draytons character seems to work as a higher up in an evil team, similar to Gladion. They don’t share the views of the team and are only there for their own reasons, like for Gladion, getting stronger. But they don’t actually like the evil team and aren’t liked by them either
Holy crap, props to that one commentator who pointed out penny giving Draco Meteor. That is such a random TM from someone like her. And we all know Gamefreak likes to drop super subtle hints to future games.
Also, a dragon Eeveelution would be a good counterpart to Sylveon. In the past we've had Espeon and Umbreon with dark being super effective against Psychic. And then the same with Leafeon and Glaceon. So if the pattern continues, it would make sense to do a something that's weak against the other Eeveelution of fairy type.
Maybe the TM is hinting at a possible evolution of Eevee when it it exposed to meteoric minerals or some form of draconic energy.
Cassiopeia is a constellation. operation STARFALL, all the star bases are named afrer stars. You bring down each of them and penny. Draco meteor is simply a falling star reference and nothing more.

@@goldenamaura I don't think so either, shooting stars don't fall into earth, they just burn on the atmosphere. Meteors enter earth atmosphere and fall into earth. And just why do a reference to an event happening at that same moment? (event being operation start fall) Not saying is a clue to the next eeveelution, but saying is a reference to operation star fall is a worse theory in my opinion, specially with the TM being Draco Meteor, nothing related to starts.

Great video, I've always thought we would get more eeveelutions and with this year being the year of the dragon it would be the perfect time to introduce a dragon eeveelution.
We really do need a Dragon Eeveelution. Sylveon is the only post Gen1 Eeveelution that did not get an accompanying weaker or stronger type. Umbreon and Espeon were released together in Gen2 with Umbreon having the type advantage. Glaceon and Leafeon in Gen4 with Glaceon having the type advantage. But then Sylveon was released on its own to highlight the new Fairy type, but didn't get an accompanying type. As most also already know all of the Eeveelutions so far are those that before the physical special split were all types considered Special attack types prior to Gen 4, with the exception of Sylveon since the Fairy type didn't exist in gens 1-3. The only Special type that doesn't have an Eeveelution is Dragon.
As much as I would love Eevee to get an evolution for all types, I think the Dragon type is the most deserving of that honor.
As an unrelated side not, can we get two abilities that works like Scrappy? One that allows Ghost types to hurt Normal types, and one that allows Dragon types to hurt Fairy types.
Uranium had an ability with an awesome name that granted immunity to Fairy type moves called Disenchant, that would be a great ability to see join the roster too.

The pattern I've settled on is that new eeveelutions were introduced gen two then the next at 4 then 6 , gen 8 DID give us gygantimax eevee , so gen ten give us steel and dragon maybe...?

Has anyone mentioned Drayton's eyes lacking the glimmer? Champion Kieran's eyes reverted back to his normal eyes with the glimmer during the fight against Terapagos. There's definitely something up with Drayton along with the Dragon E4's little subplot with the dragon tamer paying him a visit and all.
As far as Drayton' concerned he seems the type that loves to battle so much that he's willing to sacrifice repeating his school years just to find people who'd want to battle him.
That wiuld be so cool it really confused me why the didnt introduce one along side sylvion like they did with all the other eveelutions

Penny’s eeveelution theming and the draco meteor had me really certain we would get a new eeveelution in the dlc. It would be cool if an event dropped this year that would bring it into the game.
While I’ll be happy for all the Dragon type trainers out there, I hope it won’t be another decade until a Poison type Eeveelution comes around ☠️

Based on the first fan theory in the video, i honestly hope the next villain team is good. Like last evil team was basically Flare or ORAS teams.
Like Skull was just a bunch of deliquents, Yell was a bunch of fans, Star was just school rebels. Like why cant they give us an actual evil team again lol
keep in mind that up to this point all Eeveelutions have been a type that was special before gen4 made it based on move, rather than the type. I know fairy wasn't in the game back then but it would've been special if it was.

I actually have an idea of how they can design the dragon eeveelution. The name could be Hydreon (from hydra) and it could have body features of Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon. It could also tie into the theory of the legendary dogs being those three eeveelutions and their paradox forma being part dragon type. As for its evolution method, I think it has to learn tri attack (game freak would find a special way to teach Eevee that move) and level it up with a dragon type on the team

I think a small problem for GF is that there are so many dragon eeveelution fakemon out there that they can’t make something super original without someone claiming the original design. And almost every name for it at this point has been used by fakemon lolx. Just proves they could hire some of these artists.
That’s gonna happen no matter what. Since Pokémon are inspired by real animals and culture it makes sense that they would hit upon similar ideas as fan artists.
The only thing I’d think they’d be concerned about is creating a dragon eevee that lives up to the ideas that everyone has had in their heads and in fanart for years.
I have a theory. I think we're getting 1 legends game, legends kyruem that takes place both in Jhoto and Unova. How it would work is that arceus takes us back in time to split kyruem into what the world needed at the time which was truth and ideals, then transporting us to the future to fix kyruem after establishing these principles for man (especially after observing what team plasma did with zekrom/reshiram). It was off to me that the legendary dogs are ancient and the musketeers were futuristic, so by having us be the ones to break and form kyruem makes sense to me, on top of the fact that legends arceus showed pokemon being native to regions than their debut game (ex. Tornados and oswhatt being native to hisui but not found in modern sinnoh). This means the johto would be the past region, and unova being the modern/future region.
With the introduction of the Metal Alloy item, I think there's a possibility that there will be a Steel Eevee in the future. Also maybe some new evolutions for Steel-type Unova mons like Excadrill, Ferrothorn, and/or Durant
I hope we do. All of the generations that introduced Eeveelutions overhauled Pokémon types.
Gen I (Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon) introduced the first fifteen types (all except Dark, Steel, Fairy and Stellar). Gen II (Espeon and Umbreon) introduced the Dark and Steel types. Gen IV (Leafeon and Glaceon) introduced the Physical/Special split. Gen VI (Sylveon) introduced the Fairy type.
What with Terastallization and the Stellar type being introduced in Gen IX, this may indicate the possibility of a new (Dragon-type) Eeveelution.
I really do want a dragon Eevee. But I would love to see a Eevee Flying evolution.

I think a missed oportunity was with the Metal Alloy, that allows Duraludon evolve. Possibly this also could lead in the future to a steel type eevee. A posibility for a dragon eevee could be that is finally compatible with the dragon scale, or a brand new item or method
Hey I figured out the trainer who Spoke to Hassel. She’s just a regular “Dragon Tamer” trainer, there’s multiple of them. You can find that trainer model throughout the game and they’ll battle you. The woman who spoke to Hassel isn’t anyone significant

I've had the idea of a Legendary Dragon Eeveelution for a little while now, so I guess this is as good of a place to put it as any.
Wyrmeon - The Timeless Pokemon.
Dex Entry 1: Wyrmeon, once considered a Myth, has recently been rediscovered by a Dragon Type Trainer who wished to remain Anonymous.
Dex Entry 2: It has recently been proven that Eevee evolves into Wyrmeon through contact with Scales from the Legendary Dragon, Kyurem.
(The original idea I had for it was about Mega Rayquaza scales instead of Original Dragon scales, but here we are. Hell, you could probably sub in Origin Giratina, Eternamax Eternatus, 100% Zygarde or Ultra Necrozma if you wanted. It's not like there's a shortage of powerful Dragon Type Legendaries.)
If I were to put something like this in an official pokemon game, it'd either be some Lets Go Eevee type game where it's actually your starter, or in a game where it starts off as someone else's pokemon and the power drives it to fight against its trainer (leading to a terapagos-esque situation where you have to catch it.)
Its owner would probably be the Rival of the game, and the Rival would probably be a slightly less-than-good person so that it isn't just... Really, really mean to take their little buddy from them.
Maybe it could loop back to the idea that Black and White had way back when, where pokeballs act as a sort of oppression against Pokemon.
It'd end up being implied that the Rival actually abused their pokemon in some way, so after a bit of thinking (and a heavy hit from what was once their partner pokemon) they end up quitting on being a trainer after the climax of the postgame. It all lead to them understanding that, as they are now, they are a horrible trainer.
The Original Dragon plotline would be the main storyline of the game, and Wyrmeon stuff would be purely postgame. Maybe the Rival's Eevee kept trying to go back to wherever the Original Dragon was fused together, and it takes some convincing from the protagonist to get the Rival to go, at which point the Eevee evolves and starts causing problems.
It could be a roaming legendary, acting as a sort of defender of abused Pokemon. When you finally catch it, the Rival tries to take the pokeball from you, and Wyrmeon breaks out. A battle ensues, but you're not in control of Wyrmeon, and the opponent is the Rival themself instead of a Pokemon.
The battle would probably end when you exhaust your other options, and end up hitting 'Run,' at which point the Protagonist stands between Wyrmeon and the Rival.
It could be followed up by a cutscene where the Rival (in a hospital or pokemon center or something, since Wyrmeon hits hard,) realizes why Wyrmeon did what they did, and asks the Protagonist to deliver a message to the Professor. The message would probably be along the lines of 'I surrender my rights as a pokemon trainer. Please take better care of them than I did,' or something.
or maybe not. maybe wyrmeon is just a funny lil' dragon fox buddy with no implications whatsoever.

I hope if and when we ever get a dragon-type Eeveelution, Wyverneon, it looks like it's wearing a dragon onesie; like it has a like shed-skin clothing thing like Scraggy and Scrafty had. If I had to think of an ability to give it, I would give it Pressure or Defiant; I was thinking Mold Breaker, but I feel like a lot of Pokemon already have that ability, like it feels a bit overrated. Also, I'd hope it'd get paired in a gen with a new steel-type Eeveelution, Guardeon, it looks like a knight in armor and its tail is a spear or spike-ball mace, with the ability Sturdy or Battle Armor. Like a knight and a dragon.

Speaking of weird post-game dialogue, Mr. Salvatore says that Paldea and Unova speak the same language when we invite him to the Blueberry Academy. For some reason French exists, Chinese exists, German exists. But the American and Iberian regions both speak a common language.

I think Drayton would work great as a character similar to how Gladion was in sun and moon, working for the evil team but not truly being with them.

Also, I have seen a ton of fan made dragon type Eeveelutions, and the most popular name I've seen for them is Scaleon. Perhaps that could be the name we and up getting? Unless they decide to go with something that fits it better in their eyes. The Drakeon one could work, but I think that if they do use that name, they'd probably go with Draceon to fit the names they've gone with for dragon type things.

The name for Eevee's Dragon form would be called Ryuon, and it's design would be similar to Kudamon from Digimon Data Squad.

Penny’s Red and Blue Dyed Hair may reference the Red and Blue coloured split type symbol for the Dragon Type before it became Purple in later games
Yo T-tar. What if in the Unova remake/re-visit that we MIGHT get this year they introduce a convergent species of Eevee like they did with Diglett and Tentacool? And this Darvee (place holder name Combination of Darwin and Eevee) evolves into the remaining missing types by leveling it up while it holds a charm or something regarding that type. Or an evolution mechanic specific to it. Like it can only evolve into a type if you find one in the wild with a title mark. ex: the Dragoon mark for dragon, the Blacksmith mark for steel and the Spooky for ghost. etc etc. Farfetched true but fun to imagen.
Sylveon has a dex entry about how it violently attacks all dragon types, after a battle with some mysterious dragon type. Most likely we will never see that dragon or have a dragon eeveelution.
I just want to get every last Eeveelution we need in one Gen, and the reason can be that the Professor of that Region and the region in general is heavily focused on Eevee and how it evolves but the twist, you can only get the new Eeveelutions here before the Post Game.

If we ever get a Dragon eeveelution, it has to be in a Legends Johto. That way, it can be explained that
1) When they went extinct, they left Dragon Scales so that way Seadra in Johto can evolve into Kingdra
2) there’s a elder Kimono Girl that uses this eeveelution (probably gonna be named Scaleon)
Since I think we might be getting a unova remake made by another company and johto legends it could come out in either game. like in unova when the original dragon split it left behind dragon orbs that grow in the ground like the evo stones and has been buried till now you also need to know Draco meteor. With johto legends they could have a kimono girl for all the types but we only see the types we have the others are away somewhere else like galar gym leaders we know there is 1 for every type but we don’t see them all.

I've been saying this since even before SV's release: In on of the book pages, there is an Eevee shown next to a Gible. It was the page about the Herba Mystica I believe. That was enough reason for me to suspect the possibility of a new dragon eevee
All of the eeveelutions that were made before Gen 6 were based on types that were special before Gen 4. Water, Fire, Electric, Psychic, Dark, Grass, Ice, and Dragon. So only Dragon remains of those special types.
I think they will complete the set before we get any physical type eeveelutions, like Steel or Ghost.
The Steel and Dragon Eevees could be future/past paradox forms respectively.
Imagine if they did give us a Dragon Eeveelution, it would be like Bloodmoon Ursaluna type of situation, where you can only get one and its not actually obtainable through evolving an Eevee--which I know would be counter-intuitive bc that is Eevee's entire gimmick, but it would not be out of GF's realm nowadays to stray from the pre-established norms

Maybe a new dragon eeveelution would be called Serpeon? Or maybe we'll get a new pokemon similar to eevee that will cover the remaining 9 types, since many of them seem a bit weird for eevee to turn into? A counter-eevee if you will

Dragon is the only special type that doesnt have an eeveelution yet, would be weird if it never got one.
Year of the dragon is most likely unova, sorry johto, but unova is known for bringing dragon Pokémon like hydreigon and kyurem, perhaps somewhere down the line, we can see johto, but since this year is the year of the dragon, it’s mostly unova, and I hadn’t played any of the gen 2 or 5 games and have a much better connection to gen 6, so, don’t be surprised when a unova game comes out
As far as penny originally having a new dragon type Eevee, what if instead her giving you draco meteor is supposed to hint about a new pokemon instead of Eevee who is dragon type and like Eevee gains all the other types but keeps dragon. Meaning it goes from dragon to dragon/water and so on until we have all the types or even the same idea but it gains a secondary type of all the eeveelution that will never come to pass. Like dragon/bug and dragon/poison.
What if Drayton is the head of the motorbike gang on that bridge in Unova? 😂
The year of the dragon will most likely have nothing to do with pokemon because they never cared about the lunar calendar before and it feels weird that now every theory is just "it's the year of the dragon so dragon type".
Look at B2W2, which was the last game in the year of the dragon. It didn't introduce any new dragon pokemon, instead introducing the dna splicers helping get closer to whatever was already talked about in the game which released 2 years before in the year of the tiger.
I highly doubt that just because the year of the dragon is coming, pokemon will create a "Draconeon". Also for the Penny thing, she was the one giving out all the TMs anyway so it makes a decent amount of sense that the strongest TM she gives you, that also relates to Starfall, is the last one

Because of Fire Emblem, I have thought that Pokémon should make the Dragon Stone and Eevee is one of the Pokémon that evolves that way.
