- This is a Raspberry pi 4 tutorial video (the Linux PC), learn What is Raspberry Pi and how to get started with Raspberry Pi 4 as a beginner, what interesting projects you can make, and what accessories you need to jump in. Let's see how to use the new Raspberry 4 as a desktop PC using a Linux OS. So basically it's a credit-card-sized single-board computer that allows you to fill your basic computer requirements. This tiny computer is made for newbies and kids to learn coding at a very cheap price, so they can make their dream projects.
In comparison to Windows and Apple PC, it is not a desktop replacement but it has its own features, 1st it runs on a Linux-based operating system called “Raspbian” which is free to download, easy to use, and closely same to windows and mac. In addition, we have a Linux terminal on Raspbian which is not available on regular desktop computers.
As always I tried to make high-quality and easy-to-understand videos. I included what is raspberry pi 4, its hardware specification, and its features. Am just getting in Pies and hope to learn more about HATs. I want to use the RPi to be a process controller. Need more info on:
1) Real-time clock utilities for non-internet operation
2) analog output hardware (like 4-20 mA)
3) preferred languages (Python or...?) for PID loops

Note: Format your SD cards for the installations things to ExFAT. It has a max filesize of 16 Exabytes. Compared to FAT that limits your to only 4GB

You shouldn't need SD Card Formatter. I think Etcher takes care of the whole process of formatting, partitioning and copying of files anyway.
Yes right , but sd card formatter reduces the chance of os corruption.

Keep different OS in different microsd card, this is the right way.

The first thing u should even without installation a os is to put a heat sink.. not a small puny heat sink u need a big heat sink! Get those full heat sink case ..

Try to unzip the raspbian image file with 7-Zip, sometimes winrar corrupts the image file.

If you able to install android, but there is no point to play those games in pi. Better you can play in mobile, but you can install retropie to play retro games.

First make sure you have formatted the card using SDcard Formatter , if its fails yet then your ISO is corrupt. Download the fresh one.

Why the company that sells the pi do not sell the sd card with the operating system,anyone who buys a rasberry needs to own a computer that doesn't make no sense for me.
i think because of updates, if they sell pi with os and a user buy it in few month then he will get the older version of OS. More over no one only uses Raspbian OS there are many users uses different OS.
