@@rundown132 I think I kinda get what you're saying but I think PTSD isn't how they deal with it but instead the consequences of dealing with it. I think it's more suppression than anything mixed with desensitization, plus I think soldiers when they're fighting usually have plenty of fear but it's just overridden by other stronger emotions- to say it in a way that isn't complex, I'd say that their will to fight is stronger than their fear.
Man, I have been watching you for a long time Karma. And I've gotta say seeing you organize Target Reference Points and calling fire missions for your Mortar Team was such a delight to watch, I'm an 11C and seeing what I do irl transferred to Arma makes me so stoked! Not only that but the Map coordination with having the Area of Operation clearly drawn out, as well as Area's of Interest. Absolutely awesome, keep it up!

Ok…. So I’ve never played Arma, but I have to be honest after watching this video. I will be downloading it today. I’ve played insurgency, but I’m absolutely loving this immersion!!! Thank you for posting this!!
Good luck finding a group willing to do this with you. The community is very elitist and don’t like new players. It has a very high learning curve and it will take hours to learn all the basics, but hopefully you find a good group to play with
It's the best series I've ever played right from operation flashpoint. Karma and these players have been playing hard for just as long so no worries. Go through the show case missions and single player scenarios and you will luv it. Most experienced players use certain mods with their game and depending what your into there's mod to improve it. Some don't like steam but I enjoy how easy it is to install and uninstall, organize them once you get rolling. I usually just play SP and make missions for fun now. best game for your money. Get all the stock DLC . Tanks, Jets etc.
I can say with certainty that this is the best I've seen when it comes to this sort of milsim video. Top editing with great camera angles for so much more perspective.
Wow, the production quality really does keep getting better and better. I've been watching since before Karma even started with the Karma Company and Arma 3, but it really has been such a good turn for your channel and community.
25.24 seconds in the most awesome shot of him getting jn the black hawk apache overhead and the a10 flying over. Gave me goosebumps. Awesome work karmakut
Karma, I've have been watching you since Squad V9 and I have to say brother that this was the best video you've produced so far. I honestly felt like I was watching a short film instead of watching a Arma event. Great fucking job to you and the boys that participated !!!!
When I showed up to Ranger Battalion within the first couple weeks of showing up I attended Sgt. Joel Clarkson's memorial ceremony and I will never forget the cries of his couple month old baby that will have to grow up without a father. It was a very sad moment and at 19 I realized exactly what cost of freedom is. It's memorial day weekend and I always reflect on that day watching his fiancé holding that baby followed by the question if I had enough courage to continue the mission if the guy to my left or right went down P.S On Merrill missions if they weren't taking contact they would fly an American flag and platoons would end the trip with hundreds of kills. Most were air support but our boys put in lots of work on those deployments
Your production quality is unbelievable man. And your crew is badass. Hats off to KOG I wish I had the time/hardware to play with y'all. Keep up the amazing work brother. Donated also
Keep raising the bar, those external shots on the Apache was next level shit. Also, these pvp fights are really intense. Like the Spetnaz thing on Liberation is a little more jovial in nature, Kill KOG however is higher stakes for lack of a better term. Almost like a Zombie survival game with the neverending horde. I hope you keep doing them, they seem popular with the ARMA community. Thanks for the hard work man, you´re killing it!
This is such a cool concept for a video, and I hope you do more of these in the future. The world, and the next generation need to know what these men did, and the courage they held as they executed these missions. Beyond that, I am very, very thankful that you raised money for such a good cause. Keep up the great work Karmakut!!
Quite a recent follower, but I have gone through a great deal of your videos Karma, especially the wild Vietnam stuff. But this right here, I can't say I've ever seen a more thrilling and jaw-dropping piece of gameplay. Praise well deserved for everyone involved.
I wanna see the other perspective but I’m pretty sure it was mostly that mortar crew doing work on them. Goes to show you how crucial that extra technology is
Well done, another great video. Can anybody confirm these terms? Some of these videos need a glossary! I put what I think they mean * Speedball - resupply package? * SNOT - sniper or observation team? * Rifle - called when CAS is about drop a bomb or missile? * Tally - called over radio when a CAS run is starting? * Net Call - used when a radio message is sent to everybody on the net? * Titan - call sign for who? * ECAS & Shade - Emergency CAS & get in cover? * Polar - @14:10 "Motors adjust, polar break" Not sure what polar means in this context. Also, shouldn’t the compasses and bearings be in mils instead of degrees?
Polar like polar-coordinates. polar is the signal word that a polar correction is going to follow. He says "Mortars adjust polar.... break .... *checks compass* ... south-east, 50 meters, over." Tally is airmen brevity for "visual on target" Rifle is brevity for firing an ATG missile
Speedball - Is an ammo drop Rifle - Air to ground missile ordinance has or is about to be fired. Usually it's a good idea to duck just in case Net Call - yes, you are correct. It's going out to the entire battle net so everybody knows ECAS - Emergency Close Air Support - The ground is calling for CAS, and is less concerned about it being danger close. Get these guys off us! Shade - Similar, but I believe is clearing all CAS elements to fire or release ordinance at their discretion to protect the ground element. This is different from normal conditions as ground elements usually give ISR/CAS directions on what to hit. Or CAS will ask if they want a particular target struck - The ground element may be too close, or doesn't want to alert the enemy... or may want to hit it themselves. If it's farther away often CAS may have the discretion to strike a target in tandem or tangentially to the current operation. Such as a distant logistical vehicle or troop transport entering the AO
Yeah pretty much got it right one the money lol as for the compass pieces maybe it should be for Air and Arty by we got DAGRs and ATAKs that track the bearing your looking so just makes it easier.
